My son spent a lot of time testing the furniture over the last few months. One of the fruits of his labours is this awesome Modern Kitchen furniture pack:
Pretty much every piece of furniture there is interactive. The cupboards open, the oven fires, fridge and freezer open in multiple stages, dishwasher, washing machine, toaster etc. etc. My only contribution is the red wall clock to break the grey monotony :-)
We combined it into a furniture pack and I put it in community content. It’s already there waiting for the launch day, but you can’t download it with 1.29 obviously. The cabin furniture I showed you earlier will be also available the same way.

Although you could make all of that (as long is it is below 300 triangles), things like cars or wolf collars wouldn’t be functional.

Was the round appliance a clothes washing machine or dryer? Don’t normally place one of them in the kitchen.
In the UK it is quite common to have the washing machine in the Kitchen. I noticed when I moved here to the US that the washing machine is normally in a separate utility room or more likely in the basement.
In NZ the washing machine sits in a separate laundry room – or in the garage.
Furniture should be able to be crafted with a chest to add storage to the furniture, or crafted with a pressure plate to make it output a signal when the top is stepped on.
The chest is a good idea
The pressure plate would be useful for my Portal map I mentioned in a previous post’s comments. I could use it for floor buttons.

Kaalus the clock is actually not so good, that is if you compare it to what your sin did.
Kaalus I think it is time to include more texture packs by default. The default one really is not great. There are many great packs and I can help as well.
Many new users do not know how to download packs.
What’s wrong with the default texture pack?
Maybe you haven’t seen some of the other texture packs. This one of mine is currently not on community content:
It might not be the best, but I enjoy the a lot more with this texture pack than the dull default one. There are many other great texture packs. Also, the default pack is much lower resolution as well.
The different blocks of diamond, copper etc make great tiling in bathrooms etc. I have also replaced the textures of many electronics to resemble paintings for decoration. If you want, I can post it on community again. I have have copied some of the textures from other people, but I have created a lot of my own from scratch, like the trees, the ores, the oven, some of the doors etc. I think they look a lot better than the default texture map. To create a new seamless texture is quite tricky. I like the spruce tree (I think that is the name) the most. It is usually the white trunk tree. Mine has white spots on it. This was made from a real spruce tree texture. The wood texture was also created from real wood texture as most of my other textures. A wooden deck with this looks great.
By the way, it won’t bother me if you copy this into your own texture map. Kaalus is also welcome to use it. Drake also creates a lot of textures.
I also give credit to the other textures as you can see on the texture map.
Some don’t like the dispenser, but if you want I can change that. I like it for creative mode.
One of the reasons why he don’t adds more default texture packs or guide world is simply to make basic game lighter in the store.

I like the water texture
The problem with this is that it might make players think that SC only comes with a few pre-made packs like Minecraft console edition. If players see a “Select Texture Pack” menu with only one texture pack (default), they will know that they can get more.
Well currently when you go to options, there is only one texture pack and one skin, unless you know to download. How is that better? It is not! For me it does not make a difference. I’m thinking of newbies and even some of the current players. So many if not most have never ever tried another texture pack.
The kids might play around with skins because they want to be batman or superman or spiderman, but usually not texture packs. That is anyway true for my boys.
It is also not necessary to create a new menu, the system is in place already, but it only shows 1 texture pack. Will this not cause some to think there is only one? My texture pack is 1.4M. This is not too much extra weight to the game.
I never said to create a new menu. Maybe add a help section for skins and texture packs. I don’t think including them with the main game is really necessary.
I don’t think making that texture the default one is a good idea. 1) It doesn’t match the animals 2) It doesn’t match the game in general (look at 7 Days to Die and Rust they look awful) 3) There is no need to try to make Survivalcraft look like a PS4 game it doesn’t need high resolution. 4) He’d have to texture 2x, 3x, etc as many things.
In all honesty my favorite texture packs for Survivalcraft and Minecraft were their default ones.

And… After 48 Hours I’ve took my decision if I will buy “Survivalcraft 2” or not… And I’ve decided that I’m going to buy it!
Sure, I’m still sceptic about this decision of an separate app to buy etc etc. I only wish that Kaalus, after this update, is is going to be more constant with updates or news.

Probably just furniture. Adding a new type of lamp as a separate block wouldn’t really be necessary.
Also a new step sound when you walk on Iron Blocks? (I guess that Copper and Diamond do the same)
Will it be possible to create furniture in survival or cruel game modes? Or is it a creative mode only thing?

Add Gold ore, items not disappear quickly and even when sleeping, infinite because a whistle whistle does not break so easily and he even and iron so should be infinite.
1 whistle infinite, 2 gold ore (v2.1), 3 items not disappear very fast

Here is my guess for how the piston will be crafted:
For pulling piston and strict pull piston, the top-middle wood would be replaced with iron or copper.
And hammer:
I don’t know. Look at pistons video 01:10. New block next to copper block. I believe it is semiconductor block for pistons.

I’m seeing a lot of negativity surrounding buying this game. I can’t understand it really. Think about games like Angry Birds and all the others that require IAPs. These games are mostly made by large companies which then shamelessly charge you to proceed in the game. Some of these IAPs are hefty on the pocket too. Now along comes Kaalus, a single independant developer who has brought more to any Survival type game than any other Dev (sorry MineCraft fans and I’m a fan too). Now 5 years into development he asks for a one off payment, no IAPs, and provides furniture packs, free of charge, which he could easily add as an IAP (Please don’t Kaalus!) like all the other Devs. I personally think this is entirely fair, generous even. It’s not wrong for a person to profit from their work. I just thought as a community we should support Kaalus and not denegrade him, lest he walk away.

Agreed. Some people can not afford it immediately but I’m sure they could save up for it, perhaps ask for it as a gift? It’s not gonna disappear any time soon.
I’ve already said why. I don’t have credit therefore I have to get a store card. The lowest priced one is $15 therefore to get SC2 on Apple and Android that would cost $30. The worst part is half that money wouldn’t go to Kaalus and instead sit in the black hole of online buying. I’d rather get Kaalus to give me Apple free then I’d buy SC2 for full price on Android. Therefore the least money will be wasted.

There are probably lots of devs submitting their apps for Christmas releases right now. You should probably submit SC2 to make sure it gets through certification before Christmas.
BTW I’m not an app developer, it might not work like that at all.
