Yeah advanced, or maybe please kaalus, if you want to craft tools you need hammer in a box where you put it in for metal tools? It’s crafted from 1 Iron block? That’d be awesome, a Maybe let us know what it does please, we’ve waited. And multiplayer is your goal : ( ? That’s what I expect from you! You use basalt hammer only for pressurizing into copper block, then use to make into iron block.

Is it equal power however many are in the slot? It should be 40× power with a full stack. Otherwise putting two stacks of one is more powerful than one stack of 40. But 40>2!

So the possibility it was discovered before me is there but to me it was my invention and I was among the first to come up with it…

Why aren’t there stone, copper and diamond hammers? Why is there “no need” for others? That’s arbitrary. I rarely ever use iron or diamond items except when necessary and for weapons. They don’t last long enough to justify the time finding the materials.
You don’t get copper muskets,for example. Maybe it’s like that.
Excuse me kaalus, but there is a bug in the iOS version of Survivalcraft in which on some of the 2D blocks have some of their outside pixels not erased well. Second, can you please have Sulphur 3D. Third, Kaalus, please use spears more frequently. Finally, The bug in which aquatic animals attack you while in the boat is partially fixed. Aquatic animals, especially sharks, have attacked me in the boat occasionally.

Kaalus, the hammer looks good, it fits in with the other tools, but I agree no diamond variant is needed considering a diamond hammer would break the diamond shell off after one hit and become a iron hammer. Also, can you make custom button controls for PC?

Maybe he’s made nails too, so you have to use them together… So you can afix things to walls that would otherwise fall to the ground.

Weeks ago he created the new unknown feature wich most people (including me) think its sculpting. Could this hammer be for sculpting? Maybe I do not know I wish Kaalus would just say it and not let us hint… Butwe will find out when 1.30 comes I guess. This is a very commendable attitude and testimony.
You’re new to survivalcraft aren’t you? There are countless time when Kaalus interacts with the community. Like four things off the top of my head is he asked how many matches should be made from one recipe, the screenshot contest, the idea of magnets was the community, and he’s asked how you should be able to get string. Also, I’ve personally been replied too either by him adding the feature or by sending me a reply email explaining why he doesn’t want to add the feature. I asked him for iron ladders, basalt fence, and this summer I actually asked for carving so he may have seen the email and became interested. I’m not sure I’m the reason for these changes, but it’s coincidental. People also recently asked for a faster flying speed in creative and to get rid of the clan worlds. Guess what? Both are already taken care of.

I actually like this idea.. but still feels too slow. Maybe add a ‘walk’ feature.. wouldn’t be hard to code at all.. AND could open the possibility of a better well rounded ‘sneak’ feature.

…do you not realize that the maximum speed of the player IS running? You don’t outrun predators like wolves, lions, and bears by walking. So clearly the player can already run, daisflaque. Think about what you are saying before you say it.
And you can not walk because you chose to not use the pad controls. With the pad controls, your speed is variable.
You can increase your movement speed by wearing diamond armor or certain clothes, also Kaalus made the game so you couldn’t run away from certain animals. On the other hand running would be a good idea, just it would deplete your stamina faster.

I can see the architecture is coming along.. but.. before you move on.. you should think about some processors contain more than one AU – for example, one for fixed-point operations and another for floating-point operations. (In personal computers floating point operations are sometimes done by a floating point unit on a separate chip called a numeric coprocessor.)
This could multiply your power and speed by un-thought of numbers..

At the moment I’m so sorrow!! Super! I think I know what the hammers are for, the… I know but if I was right then I thing Kaalus is dropping survival very badly! So! So! much! You will be able to create small things. Decorations, traps maybe, as he said the possibilities are endless. And you will be able to do all of this in survival. I mean, Kaalus you excellent progress, you made hunger, stamina, sleep, temperature and why not thirst? It’ll be really great if you did! And why not insects? How do you expect someone to sleep under a tree in the forest when not getting bitten? Maybe some insects bite furiously and very briefly, some can cause poisonous bites that hits you once and runs away, that makes you tired and lose consiousnos (only stops after losing consciousness) if you sleep it still causes you, some are rare and live in common places e.g tropical forests. When you sleep under a tree, just elevate a little bit 1block maybe leaves or something? and you’ll sleep really comfortly, someplace so that are quite has no insects. But there are ants, dangerous ants, mosquitos, centipedes and wasps. But I guess making such tiny creatures is quite hard but it’s one way of realism. Please let me know and I’ll help with some good ideas Kaalus!
Why items just go through boats
Ok I’ve got a really imaginative way of finding inspiration to better survival! Imagine in you’re head, now! yes now just for a moment you get on land to survive in real life in a land of challenging nature, Start! What do you see? Yes let me tell you maybe a long story, 1.you’ll go grab food! But where? Go searching! e.g berry bush! 2.you’re not sure what you’re eating is it edible? some are really nutrious some are dangerous but but be careful! if you want a cool idea what poisonous berries do let me know! 3.if you haven’t found some, search for lakes or rivers! they’ve got tasty fish 4. Be careful! If you’re in a temprate biome, bears go fishing! But catching fish requires a weapon! 5.Go get a sharp rock, break branches try to sharpen it against rocks and start! yes! Got one! But it’s raw and eating raw food loses 0.5-1 hearts. 6.Shelter! Where? If your lucky, you find a quite inner looking cliff-like place! Do all this there, its getting cold and food needs cooking! But if wood gets exposed after wetness, rain or water it’s useless for fire! if you big underneath somewhere, you’re lucky! Then start firing! Two ways: 2 dark-looking stone chunks(flint) or friction fire! 7. Use a burning tip branch or stick if you unfortunately got incountered by a predator! By just press holding a stick or branch on campfire (they lose their ignition after a short time). Use leafy breaches to insulate you’re shelter, not dirt! It’s impossible in life! And wierd! 8. At morning you’re so proud of you’re survival skills, but you’re thisrty! Yes thirst must be in the game! Go to the lake, make sure it’s clean enough, or else -0.5 hearts, if not use your shirt to soak in water then drink! 8. After days of survival build, create and imagine how SC will be! Remember bare hands are useless diggers! Very very long time and nothing dropped! Except sand piles you can store using a bag, crafted from canvas, or leather or even your old shirt! A full bag of 6 sand piles or dirt can be used to place one block of its own! That all is to show how real survival is and how to improve the game survival! Sorry if complicating! That’s one long example to show you! How is it? Let me know an other cool survival way to improve! But let me know Kaalus!

Sorry, one thing: A day should go slower much slower, it turns night in a blink of an eye, not literally! but make days go quite slower than that! Please! And the time and darkness changing of day, night it’s quite buggy, wait you dark lands start to appear like threads, but is there a way to improve all this?

I went below bedrock and discovered two things. 1:It was night and the moon was visible underground. 2:Caveswise there seemed to be a lot of isolated chambers and not enough branching caves.
We need a new weapon not a weapon to destroy all the not so innocent animals but to aid us in the fight for survival or mess around works to. What I’m trying to get at is kaalus you should make some sort of brewing system. So we can make medecines to help us heal faster or something to make us run faster for a while or a strength boost thta makes melee weaponry plus the spear stinger or make us dig/cut faster. However if we don’t perfect the potion/whatever you want to call it the potion will have bad side effects. And maybe a potion that last forever but you can only use it a few times and it doesn’t come with side effects so like a stamina potion/whatever would let me run or swim for much longer. And to get the potions you must have a brewing stand and a mortar and pestle to help make certain ingredients with herbs and other plants. Sorry about the grammar and a long wish list essay :P

When I launched survivalcraft, the screen was complete black and when I try to exit, it does not exit it gets stuck in sc, then I turned of my iPad and turned it on again it was finally not stuck on sc, I tried it 3 times, the game does not work, instead I deleted it! Fix? Bug?

Maybe to reinforce doors or walls. Lock wires into place. A weapon. Place wires into blocks.

I agree about the horse halters and lead ropes. It really really takes some time when building a stable, you’ll have to take account about the size of the horse if you’re luring it in and if not you’ll also have to measure you’re size if you mounted the horse coz there’s really high chance that you’d die when trying to get in in a door that is 2 block high. And the problem when building a stable is the time if you were not able to build before sundown you’ll have to wait again for tomorrow and if you are lucky enough that the horse is not dead even though you left it in an open are where most of the animals are hostile then viola you have a horse :)

To all those who desperately wants multiplayer, would you be willing to pay for it as an in game purchase? Maybe for say $1 or $2? I just thought that maybe if we could agree on this, it might be an incentive for Kaalus to add it sooner. I would be willing to do this, as long as it would work on one account as well. By that I mean that I am using it on more that one device, but using only one account. With this I can play with my boys.
Now i think that there’s really a chance that its sculpting coz the size of the hammer its a bit small. And that first post about 1.30 that some of us here thought that it was a meteorite haha. But im still hoping that this new feature would really affect our survival in the game coz we want more / many challenges in our survival

Something specific and everyone agrees and is not found in the poll voting thingy: Player speeds movement walking, fast walking/slow running and running. Just 3 types of movement speed! Just 3! Kaalus just do it!
I think I know what this big game-changing feature is… Is this a hammer that can change blocks by shaping / chiseling the block? Because how else would you be able to make chairs, ect. You couldn’t add all of those blocks in the game and there be something bigger.
I think I know what this game-changing feature is.. Is this hammer used to shape / chisel blocks to make very detailed ones? If so this explains the randomness of the screenshots, and why you would almost turn into a creative mode person.

I really hope that it is gonna be for a way to craft advanced weaponry, like swords or javelins, that deal more damage.
I know there are Machete’s and spears, but these could be like maybe a stronger version that do more damage
I hope he adds actual swords so that can roleplay knight in shining armor.
