T flip-flop

While testing the logic simulation code today I made this amazing circuit:

You actually only see one side of it. There’s more stuff on the back (wires go though the holes). Making these circuits is similar to making circuit boards – you cannot have wires cross without connection, so you need to go on the other side of the board :-)

This circuit is a T flip-flop. And it works. The little switch at the bottom toggles the output light on the far side. That proves to me that the simulation code is sound. I am sure this thing can be made a lot smaller with some thought, but that was not the point.

I still have a lot left to do before I can release this stuff. At the moment there are 3 ways to create an electric signal: switch, button and a pressure plate. And 2 ways to output it: doors and electric lights. I need to add more.

I don’t know what else you could use *cough* (pistons) *cough* to output ;)

btw what does the direction the gate is facing mean?

This is cool since minecraft pe doesn’t have Redstone

next mcpe update probably will, but kallus’s work is way better

I agree about the pistons or something similar to them. I love being able to make hydraulic doors and trap doors. Perhaps also something to think about maybe elevators?

Hey? you said trapdoors? I hope Kaalus didn’t forget to make them working from electricity

Couple nice things I use alot on real mc, block breakers (though with no tubes or anything else this makes less sense), pistons/sticky pistons, wireless Redstone I use that alot (would be useful for making circuits smaller, and the remote is very useful for making secure doors few people can open), maby some sort of deployed (good for adventure maps where you may need to spawn monsters somewhere), light explosives with it, dispensers (also good for adventure), maby some sort of coal fueled teleport activated by this. Also a few things you may think about adding, something like colored wire from redpower, something like bundled cable from redpower, also something like pipes (buildcraft) or pe pneumatic tubes (redpower) would be awesome with a few facilities to utilize them well. As it is I prefer this game over minecraft PE, and some aspects of this home over real minecraft with feed the beast modpack!

This reminds me of my dad- he tried to buy me an electrical kit that was clasified by radioshack as a toy when I was 10. My brother got really good at it and built his own radio when he was 12. Maybe on minecraft I could at least think I can know how my brother did it. lol

      *Survival Craft!

sorry never actually played minecraft on the PC…the PE of minecraft sucks. So I don’t think I will ever play the PC version. If you made this game on the PC though I would deffinately play it.

with doors activated by pressure plates I can just imagine you could make elaborate sandtraps with descending sand chasing you down a hall way.

I think you should add pistons as an output. They are really useful aswell.

I think that you should add pistons as an output because they are really useful.

please add NAND, NOR, XOR and XNOR GATES ! its greate to have those gates too because it can shorten a very very long circuit !

I’d love to and it would be a simple thing to do, but I am afraid to use up too many block ids. We’re down to about 110 free block ids now. Don’t want to run into an id wall.

        oh. i understand. :)

        at least add XOR ?

and another thing, can you extend the Y-Axis block limit of the worlds ?

because it would be nice if we can build higher buildings.

or just lower the water / land level because i noticed that the land is very very deep. thats good for mining, but for creative building, it limits our creativity. :)

but its amazing as it is now.

        Kaalus, you are awesome!

kallus what does happen when all those id’s are used up.
It’s not like that’s the end of updates, as there can be no more blocks, right?

and i remembered, please add a TIMER (like the one we use in electronics.) i have great lighting ideas. i can make a running light with that !

its like minecrafts redstone repeater. it add delays and intervals.

Kaalus I think cave generation should be changed. You rarely find a deep cave, and most of the time its small pockets. Do you think you will change world generation in then future?

    SInce this is called “SurvivalCraft”
Id appreciate more survival rather than building(minecraft).
Hunger, thirst, and tiredness would something else.
    warmth and coldness,
    get effected by the weather.

maybe add like strength for carrying more items, hitting strength
    marksmanship for bow accuracy.
more you do the better it gets :P?
    and it slowly deteriorates.

    LOL Got carried away,
    mayyyyyybe
