More signs

Yay, you can now attach signs to existing blocks.

I need to resolve the text entry issue and make signs break up when you remove the support, and hopefully I’ll be done with them.

At the moment you can’t color text on the signs. I did some tests and I think colored text looks out of place, so I left it out. Are there any important reasons to have it?

Btw. the sign carving idea is neat but I do not see a way to do it easily. I don’t think it is important enough to spend a lot of time doing what amounts to a painting program :-)

When you tap on the sign it opens up the edit dialog, so no zooming there. But you can fix the smallness issue this way:

Signs can be joined together.

Ok, thanks for getting back to me- we all can’t thank you enough. Do signs stack vertically or just horizontally? Would it be possible to make a huge “canvas” out of signs?

Oh and i believe you should post some pictures of colored text and then open up a poll so we can vote on it. Cuz it could be very useful in some cases.

On the second image – assuming you tap on one sign and it lets you type for the entire stretch – what happens to the phrase if you destroy one of the signs?

No, you have to type in each sign separately

Could you show us the “edit dialog”? As modest as my mind may be, I think that SC interfaces need to be carefully thought out and realized, to be graphically attractive for customer. Simplicity is surely a good point on phone device but when it’s elaborated, it’s always a good point to get good reviews and satisfaction of customers.

I dont know whether it is easy to realize, but i would appreciate it if you could change the whole interface through texturepacks – for example the mainmenu.
i guess all the interfaces are images just like the textures ingame.
I just wanted to create some Steampunk-textures but all this does not take that much effect without a matching interface :)

Great idea! I’d also like to work on different interfaces to add with texture packs :)
