Looking at your comments I realized that some people don’t know you can stoke campfires with wood, to make them bigger and stop them from fizzling out.
Any combustible material will do, although the poorer it is (like leaves or grass) the more you have to put in.
Here’s how various size campfires look like:
All the way from tiny to quite large – there are 15 sizes of campfire.
During dry weather campfire reduces by one step every 20 seconds. When rain or snow is falling on a it, it reduces every 5 seconds. Therefore a fully stoked campfire will last about 5 minutes when dry, and only slightly over a minute when it’s raining.
The default campfire you place down is at level 3, that is you have about 40 seconds to stoke it before it turns into ashes.
[EDIT]
To stoke a campfire you can either throw wood at it, or tap on it while holding wood. Either method works. Just don’t throw bombs or gunpowder kegs in :-)

What in the world!? Did a four-year-old take over your device? : )
xD
Lol
Yay!
nice mr kaalus….!!!!!!!
Anybody know an app on iOS that I can make skins with?
There isn’t one
It’s caled seus skin creator , it works really well! And it’s easy to upload to survival craft as long as you have a Dropbox account! The only thing is it cost money, but it’s well worth it
Thanks
Do you know if there is something similar for android. Currently I’m using PixelTouch.
Try isopix. I use it to make my skins. The have a free and paid version. The free on is fine but but the paid is better.
Oh my god your still here go away!
Maria doesn’t mind her own business
Yeah the Adobe Photoshop in the Google play store I will cost you $10 Dollars but once you buy it its all yours :)

Xperia Tablet Z3 Compact

What is in the log?
Mr. Kaalus, when is the update going to come out on iOS? Can u give us a time range?
I can’t wait for ois
*iOS
MR Kaalus pliss ….survivalcraft for bluestacks….
I noticed this on the very first day :-)
I’d love it if you could add keyboard and controller support for this game :-) BTW, I have come across no bugs in Android x86 :-)
Kaalus, when can we hope to see an Amazon release of 1.27?
I want to know as well,I want to make a new survival.but I want to wait for the update to get the most of it.
I usually start a new survival world for every update, so I know what you mean.
Do campfires burn flammable materials around them? Sorry, still 1.26, can’t check it out for myself.
Wait, is this new? Can you now burn grass as fuel?
+1 probably looks good in a fireplace too!
Yes grass can be annoying in inventory.
I’ve gotta try that. Great idea
Kaalus, i lit the smallest campfire near my wooden house and it didnt burn my house down. Will a larger campfire burn my house down?
Loving the update by the way! I made a semiauto harvesting system like ya said!
Save your world to Dropbox then test it out
Or just start a creative work and test it.
World*
how do you make one?
What the heck! Awesome!!
When will 1.27 come out for kindle
Do you know when this update will be out for iOS
Thank you :)
How do you get the update? (Kindle Fire)
Wait for it.
Its still beta testing in Google Play. On the bright side, 1.26 is stable and playable. 1.27 still has bugs to fix.
Ok thanks
Thank you Kaalus, for the awesome game. Survival Craft is getting better every update.
Yes it is! And it’s spelled Survivalcraft
Tell that to my autocorrect.
I hate autocorergfero.
Wow! I’m so excited! Already planning pretend camping trips, arctic research on the moose, (I like to pretend I’m a national geographic animal scientist) cozy up on a drug in a sweater near a fire, do pretend horse competitions in the cavalry boots, listen to the water. (I love water sounds.) I wish it was out for kindle fire but at least I won’t have to worry about glitches once it’s done! Thanks Kaalus! I can’t barely wait! Good job!
(Oops I meant rug, not drug! 😂)
Omg heheh!
PLZ release to IOS already. My brother has a Samsung and im tired of hearing how fun it is! PLZ I want to play!!!!!
Sent from my iPhone

Be patient please. Kaalus is working hard and I would rather have a nice bug-free game.
can you make Survivalcraft available to brazillian people on Windows Phone? On my android i have it, from brazillian store, but on Windows Phone it says incompatible with my county, please look to Brazil!!!!
It isn’t available for the whole of iOS and WP app stores. Be glad you aren’t facing bugs and doing beta testing :)
What can i do with the ashes from it it would be ideal if you could combine it into an ash block or something combustible.
I thought about this too. In real life, wood ashes are sometimes used in plant fertilizers. I thought that it would be cool to use this in the game as an alternative to saltpeter.
+1
Also, I know you have lots on your plate at the moment and your not in “new feature” mode right now, but just thought I’d throw this idea out there too…. Cantalopes. ;-)
I think ashes should be in a recipe for something, like mulch or something.
It’s a renewable resource for fertilizer. Maybe it is renewable, but it is less effective than the good stuff (saltpeter)
Maybe it’s crafted using ashes and leaves
Or maybe tools can be crafted with steel rods as well as sticks and the blade only determined the strength/speed while the handle (stick or steel rod) determined the durability. Sorry, I’m getting carried away with ideas.
Or, again, if titanium replaced diamond.
Kaalus please say if you want me to stop saying ideas.
Kaalus, Could you add dots to the bottom of the inventory menu to help indicate where you are inside it? Sort of like how Android ‘ s home screen does. Simple yet extremely helpful.
i know about wood and leaves….but i dont about rain and snow….that reduces every 5 seconds…thanks for telling…yay
I really like this update! In the next update, please add more food and plants! But this update is one of the best yet. Thanks kaalus.
ha ha i get it now shelfish. HE HE…………..
?
selfish? get it? :)
oh i get it

1. Audio bugs about the water ambient sound. Here’s what happened: “I set a campfire and threw a gunpowder keg. Of course, it exploded and burned me. I’m at the beach at that moment, so I destroyed a sand block to let the ocean’s water flow through me. But I didn’t hear any water ambient sound. I tried the Lava Bucket to see if there’s an ambient sound on the lava. There was. I tried the Water Bucket to see if there’s an ambient sound on the water. There was none.”

Thank you for fixing the water bug.
Im so late so usually. so Great feature even though i will never get it. :( JUST KEEP FIXING KAALUS!
30th!!!!!!!!
lol 34th
Ashes could replace coal for dying blocks and clothes
Or (again) mulch that is easier to find (but less effective) than saltpeter.
Sorry I’m stuck in idea mode
Thanks, Kaalus. I didn’t know that was possible at first. Oops.
kaalus pls fix. the sounds in 1.27 isnt working. whenever i summon the lightning. there are no sounds except for fire sounds. i really like this game so pls fix soon. good work though
pls fix the sound problem kaalus i really like this game but i dont like without sounds. whenever i summon lightning all other sounds(animals, walking, swimming, exploding, etc.) goes mute and sometimes the game crashes when i summon the lightning. pls fix!
oops srry i didnt know my first comment was posted lol
U can create walls 3 blocks high, around the back and sides of the campfire, and leave the front open or add a fence. Throw single burnable blocks on top and it should stock it to the max and remaining blocks will hover until they are needed. See the pic below
Genius! :)
