The proper block textures / worlds sharing is still not finished, but should not be far off now. It adds something very new to the game, which is a centralized server, that’s why I want to be extra careful with this one.

Light Sensors .. I was just about to suggest that ..
Awesome, maybe I can make some sort of timer to tell how many minutes to sunset or sunrise! Light needs to shine farther especially the electric. Need a way for light to shine from torch im holding. I play only survivalmode and need a way to look down into dark cave areas and through water falling in cave.
Maybe a mine helm like in tibia… So you can light the place and mine…
thats why it is so easy to put down and pic up sorches. why do you need to have the torch lit up in your hand it would just creat more work for Kaalus.
I think it’s a good idea actually though you should be able to a tool and the torch at the same time

No, the server is for discovering community content
it leads to online multiplayer he would have to add in more coding for lan. i want bluetooth most of all though
instead of blue tooth how about a chat box.
the question is how many can a server support for survival craft.

If I could make one request though, and I hope that you at least think about it for a future update, it would be smoke emitting from the ever burning block. I have so many chimneys in my world and watching smoke funnel out of them during a sunset would just be astounding.
That aside, your updates keep an amazing me, I play Survivalcraft more than Minecraft, partially because of the mobile aspect but also partially because of the serene grace in game play and joy.

i like survival craft more than minecraft because it is pretty muv=ch the pc version but portable.
my friends thought it was a crap game until they tried it.
they have also switched
the smoke would use up to much data and the game would get glitchy. it depends on the processor for the smoke or not. i think it is fine for now.
if you want to make smoke just put a burning block at the top of the chimney

I don’t think he worked at mojang. By the way, until about Halloween Update notch was also very social with players. It’s just difficult for to be social with almost 9 millions players ;-)
You know what would be a damn good idea, if you added theives or other dangerous(if you so choose) other travelers that you can spawn for adventure maps. Its realistic and something minecraft doesn’t have. It would be just one more thing to add to your list of unique features.
Or you could call them “Natives” so that it fits the games theme better.

i am thrying to make a city it would be nice to have actual people in the city instead of cows.
could you also add to the animals that they can reproduce if i kill a cow that i have i a heard for food that it can be replaced and for me to have a large food supply with out having to search for another heard.
can you also add llamas or sheep or goats to get wool off of for cloths. to change skin. the paint can be used to color the cloths.
can you add gold in you add natives so that it can be traded with the natives if not just food and blocks.
can the natives be in villages?

I think kaalus did mention that one day he might add bows and arrows, but atm, he seems quite busy with other features and fixes.. Would be handy though, as spears don’t stack…
it would be nice to have the dispencers. i made a ship and had nothing to put up as cannons so i filled chests with spears to throw at any thing
as I do to the game data is saved on the SD memory and not in the cell

Hi Kaalus, is it possible to have a transportation system in survivalcraft or a way of setting multiple respawn points?
yah something like ta train or the mine carts from mine craft. maby beds for the moltiple spawn points.
to make the bed you could add leather from the cows and bulls. pet three cows hides on top then three leaves from a tree in the middle and three pieces of plank on the bottom.
with the transportation system can there be a way to moove chests too that way you don’t have to make multiple trips back and forth.
The photodiode is cool but when are we gonna start getting things that have been actually requested in the forums? I appreciate all of your hard work and i realize not all the ideas are fisable, but there are alot of heavily requested features that should have been added before this like farming, npcs, and furniture. I know more electric pieces are a popular request also but i really wish that our most requested features would be added or atleast get addressed. So far the only requested feature ive heard mention of is that multiplayer will come later, so what about our other ideas? It would be nice if you could let us know what features cant be implemented and what ones you want to bring us later, particular the farming and npcs i would really like to know if you ever plan on adding either.
Rockgod420 has a point alot of people have been requesting transportation methods like trains and minecarts. thoughs are two. I think it would be cool to have trains that is a personal thing i would like.

I have 4 criteria when adding a new feature:
1. How much people want it
2. How difficult it is to add (and how disrupting to code maintainability/performance it will be)
3. Whether it’s not too similar to Minecraft
4. How well it fits with the long term game plans
I am currently spending 80% of my time working on a better textures/worlds sharing mechanism. This is by far the biggest complaint at the moment, and I get a massive volume of email from people saying that they don’t understand the current, complicated system.
I also have some vague plans beyond 1.20. Of all the things you mentioned, I am not sure whether farming satisfies #4 (it may well do, but I need to add other stuff first to be sure). Npc’s fall foul of #2. Furniture – this one seems to tick all the boxes, at least I think at the moment :-)
Wouldn’t npc’s just Be a new animal more or less? The only difference would be that they when hit with a bare hand trade with you, sort of like a block identity.

Npcs would be an easy add. Block story has them along with furniture pieces like a bed, and i know that survivalcraft has a much better engine than that game does, and if farming doesnt fit into the game plans than this game must be going in a strange direction because farming is a key roll in survival. As for furniture just the fact we don’t even have a bed still is pathetic.

Hey Kaalus,for NPC trading u could add gold ore which could be crafted into gold coins which could be used as an alternative to minecrafts emerald trading system.Its just my idea of an easy trading system :)

the electricity update i had to delete survival craft from my kindle fire first gen and then redown load it.
You don’t need to delete files before updating
the survival craft wouldn’t update so i had to uninstall then reinstall

What does LightAttenuation exactly mean? It’s quite confusing, because solid blocks have it 0, most transparent blocks have 1, but electrics and ladders have 0 too.
it means how well light goes through it.
the transparent blocks let light through 100% which is equal to one.
But then ladders and electrics are not transparent, which doesn’t make any sense.

like corn or actual pumkin vines so the pumkins can regrow
so there is a certain way to get seeds.

can the boats be placed and left in a certain location.
Another game Block Story wouldn’t let me leave a boat and it always took up space when i needed it.

color glass to make colored lights
Gates for fences
pipes to transport water
i know some of the ideas are repeats and others are kind of simple but can you try to make these and add them to survival craft if possible
a few more things these are envirmental:
rivers
waterfall that is not made by player
sheep,llamas, or goats
animals reproducing
corn
weat
watermelon s and vines
pumkin vines

with gold there should be gold blocks just lik the dimond, copper, Coal, and iron blocks.
I have many more ideas but the phones and tablets probably don’t have a prowerful enough processor for them.
Hey Kaluus how about adding a sniper rifle so we have a long range hunting weapon. The spear doesnt quite cut it, the range is too low and its damn hard to aim.
Also can you look into the water physics again? The water doesnt push things off edges.

You need just find the survivalcraft from the marketplace/amazon app store, then click it and somewhere should be link where reads update.
If you want to update survivalcraft so you don’t need to delete your worlds.
Last update 1.19.1 i looked it said that the update was out for Survival craft and it said open where the update choice should have been.
I hit open and it said that I still had version 1.18 I don’t know what was up with it. I have a survival world that I don’t want to lose.

Hey Vincent that sounds nice but maby it could be indians instead of Cowboys. The indians you could put into a town of your own you would just have to build it in creative. With the indians there should be able to spawn different people same with the animals.
you should make islands that are far-ish from the main land
that would be fun. you can make an island with buckets of water and lava but you would need to bring dirt to seed it with trees. recomend creative mide for island making.
How hard would it be to make the crouching also make the player 1 block high, kind of like half your height.
idk i like to use that when i am filling in under something. it is also good when you are on a cliff.
I have a bug to report – if I place a torch in a corner, then tap inside the same block the torch places on the wall I tapped but the animated flame stays in the original position. It’s probably really easy to fix. Good luck!

The pirates would be fun but it would be probably be hard for Kaalus to make the thing to power the boats and ships. He has electrics so maby there could be an engin for the ship to move. Nice Idea. i have made a ship but it is stationary.

Should add people like creatures that spawn from eggs llike southward guys from minecraft but more human without the stupid big nose, could make real villages and stuff, that would male this a million times better then minecraft, maybe less snow and desert because that’s all i seem to get, and maybe jungly areas sorry if this is a bit long. And pets!! Like a bird or something so it can fly around and you can see it in 3rd view or dogs lol
