1.23 release imminent

The 1.23 release time has come. Here’s the plan.

As usual, the first platform to get the new version will be Google Play. I hate to repeat myself over and over, but the reason for that is it doesn’t need a lengthy “certification” or “review” step, as all other platforms do. This means I can release quick bugfixes in a matter of hours, not weeks.

In fact, the early Google Play release has always been a beta test. I did all the testing I could myself, but with the size of the game and number of new features, it is inevitable that there will issues. A couple million users out there (last time I checked) will find them all in no time.

Once all the beta bugs have been found and fixed on Google Play, I will submit for all other platforms (Amazon, Windows Phone, iOS). In the past it usually took a few days to get to this stage.
