Hey Kaalus, how do you swim down in the latest version of the game? I noticed you changed how swimming work and getting on land is a lot smoother but how do you actually dive? I was shooting a crossbow at a fish and I cannot receive like 6 diamond tipped bolts since idk how to dive.
Just walk straight and look down at the water.
Or put a heavy armor on you.

Okay nevermind ignore my comment. I think the jump button was stuck maybe? I noticed before it wouldn’t let me jump in water but when I treaded water I floated at the highest you can be in water and never sank even slightly but it didnt make splashing noises and wouldn’t let me jump or dive. It did make getting out of the water smoother and swimming seemed slightly faster. I just assumed it was a secret change like the various texture changes.

Hi! There is a map that is not in the Community Content section but that I considered awesome enough to be shared here. It is based on The Walking Dead (a zombie TV Show, if you didn’t know) and it is pretty cool, despite the fact that it weights around 1,5 GB. You should give it a try.

There was an old map called REAL ANIMATION that I found about 3 or 4 years ago. Not very big builds, but it had lots of secrets and was extremely fun to play in challenging. Thanks, Kaalus for your continued hard work on this Great Game!!!
One more thing… Are you refreshing the CC Worlds, adding the option for non pvp mode, and releasing on Steam in preparation for online MP? C’mon at least tell us if it’s in your plans for 2.2 if not, then maybe for 2.3. If there’s a way the community could help, I’m sure we’d be eager to help 2.2 and possibly multi-platform multiplayer come sooner any way we could!
Go download Johan Real Colour TV in Community content (number 2). Sometimes it disappears and then reappears. It might have to do with Dropbox download limits. It is my world and it is the old Real Animation with many updates, unless it had a duplicate world somewhere out there. I once had a pyramid in as well, which I unfortunately lost. i would like to get it back though.

Will you maybe have an option to convert the old worlds to the new 256 standard? Or maybe you could add an option to copy blocks like the world editor from the Russian guy so that we can copy buildings to a new world.

In a sense you are right, but it seems that something is wrong. We have been asking this for numerous years, actually from the beginning. He then said that he first want SC to be finished and then he would add MP. When will SC ever be finished? He also mentioned that it is quite difficult to do. The reason why we are especially insistent upon it now, is because of Ruthless Conquest. He made it to work with MP and he actually did it to be able to make SC MP. He also mentioned that he got RC on Steam and Steam has great MP servers, well as I understand it, I might be wrong.
So there is an expectation for MP. There are two ways to silence us, one is to announce MP, the other is just to tell us that we are not getting it now. For the first we would be extremely glad, for the other we would moan a bit and then just accept it and be quiet. We get neither though, so here we are…
Kaalus, please post the new default texture on Files/Technical so long. We only know of the new tree that might be acacia.

Their sounds can greatly help the immersion in the game and can replace the soundtrack that you yourself came up to pose for SC. And of course they would be excellent pets to have at home. Sounds like a neat idea would give the world more life. and i agree that old birds in sc need remodel cuz they look derpy and too minecraft-esque.
Also more types of freshwater and saltwater fishes to give life to seas and rivers^^
A good fishes for the rivers could be payaras or tiger fishes,
Hey Kaalus, I have been meaning to ask you this question for LONG time; in the community content page, could you please add a search bar so that we can search for relevant maps and such as it is hard to find a specific map or you are looking for that has been knocked down very far down the list. This would help VERY much I would say for many people and their map popularity as people could actually find maps they were looking for.
Anyways, this small but useful feature could definitely help with refresh popular content by allowing for people to find current maps that they have heard about and change up the “Top content” list.

I actually like the idea of adding singing birds. Maybe a different kind of song bird for different regions. I still think keeping the sea birds, mallard birds and black birds.
I have a modification idea for 2.2, which basically allows pistons to push and pull blocks like: dispenser, chests, furnace and crafting table because besides being very unrealistic, nobody uses them to set limits for the pistons and that it would be a very positive change to creative mode and survival mode :)

I thought of a good idea to add glue to the game, the use is more than obvious, glue would serve to glue blocks and these blocks would all be pulled or pushed by a piston, which would be extremely useful for creative mode and survival mode, improving the design and construction of mobile buildings :)

Hi everyone and Kaalus, I am here to talk about my world… Insidia City!
Insidia City is a 3 STAR rated (it was 4 star world and the rating drop. WHY! :[ ) world and over 1000 downloads, Me and Brother created this world to prevent Claustrophobia, we basically hated houses that were too near to each other and believe me we played at lot of worlds that were just like that. This world was created 7-8 years ago and around 400MB. we are a big fan of kaalus work and I am grateful to kaalus for creating this awesome game although you do not speak to us that much (hate that by the way). Minecraft is a great game but it was lacking something and kaalus fix that for me and created the Survivalcraft.

A possible addition that would be cool is steel, crafted from iron and coal in a furnace. Steel armor and tools would be much more durable than iron but not as effective as diamond. The most important part about steel armor is that it should look awesome. And instead of a steel machete, how about a full on steel sword and a battle axe instead of a normal axe.
There is a dearth of actually cool looking gear in SC or gear that isn’t disposable. Gear modification and repairing mechanics could also help fix that.
P.S. something similar could also be done with bronze vs copper gear, with copper and zinc in the furnace to craft bronze.
Steel armor could be more durable than both diamond and iron with a draw back of being a little heavier than iron
Copper and zinc make brass.
Brass is a bit softer than bronze, which uses copper and tin.
All steel tools/items could be more durable in turn for being less efficient. Which makes sense since irl diamonds are able to be very sharp but are very fragile where as steel isnt able to be as sharp but is much more durable. So diamonds would perform fast but would last as long
While that’s an interesting idea, the real reason I want steel armor is to look cooler. Imagine instead of a boring metal chest plate, armor with shoulder pads, scale-like plates on the lower half, two large plates on the upper half, and fully armored sleeves.
Another cool idea would be gloves and gauntlets as hand armor.

Hi Kaalus! I just wanna say I’m a huge fan of your game and I’ve been playing for soo so long. One thing I’ve been constantly making is zoos because of all your animals. My question to ask if there’s a chance you could add more animals? Maybe like reptiles or primates, or even elephants. I saw the great white and it looks fantastic, I’m just curious if you can add more or are planning on adding more
I’m totally happy with the Great White, any new animals make the game that much more immersive and fun. The only thing is that most Survivalcraft players spend less than 5% of their time in or around the ocean, especially in Challenging and Cruel modes because it is lethal to even step in the ocean water lol. Kaalus, I would recommend focusing your efforts on more non-ocean things that players will interact with more, unless there is more incentive to venture out in the ocean or gather only ocean dwelling blocks or entities. I am not at all about to criticize this game. Survivalcraft is a work of art and is so much fun to play, especially with multiplayer (on any number of screens)! Thank you Kaalus for coming back to your Survivalcraft community and continuing to improve this already awesome game!

Please add the worlds by classifications such as adventure, parkour, constructions. That would help you find and classify worlds easier

You should add generated structure because survival craft feel lonely with no structure such as: no lost ruin,abanded village,or a way you can find hidden treasure or find treasure map
