Another short video for you:

The reason for 20 worlds limit per device was because worlds can easily grow to hundreds of megabytes. Times 20, and we are in multi-gigabyte territory. Your phone is suddenly full of little blocks and cannot do Tik-Tok, Whatsapp or whatever else it is normally doing :-) By increasing this limit, I am burdening you with responsibility: do not let this happen.

There’s still more stuff I need to show you, but time is running out.

That’s great, I’m excited for the update. Could you say an exact day to get a little more excited? I’m sorry if my English is bad … I speak Spanish

I think the world limit increase is sensible: maybe a warning when worlds take up lots of space might help as well?

The only complain that I have seen in many comments is the stone tip arrow that is not present anymore.

I strongly suggest we get flint knapping into the game or just flint tools generally to make up for the removed stone and not be too reliant on metal for the beginning of survival. Should also limit it with realistic options like having the ability to craft flint spears, knives and arrows only.

This looks cool. I have already used more than 20 worlds at a time (it’s a little thing with world downloads) and it slows down the world loading menu significantly, but it’s very nice to have the option, particularly on a multi-terabyte PC! I never really play multiplayer, so the PVP thing won’t affect me too much, and since I rarely use flat worlds, the new superflats aren’t too exhilarating to me. However, it’s nice to know that you are taking the community’s feedback, I’ve seen most of these suggestions recently! And I have no clue how the starting position will work, but it may help me get the optimal spawn. (Oh, also, #AddAWorldOptionToDisableLightning. It’s getting obligatory in my comments now, isn’t it?)

I mean just lightning. I want rain, but I don’t want lightning to screw the world up. If I disabled weather, I wouldn’t have lightning, but I wouldn’t have rain, either, which would probably be even worse.

If you are having a problem with lightening try building lightening posts of stone that stick up above your buildings. These will get struck and protect your creations.

I don’t really need to protect my buildings. I’m just annoyed that lightning burns all of the trees around you down over time. Plus, it would kill the look of a world to have tall stone pillars everywhere.

    Nice

Could you add the furniture to the tools and items?
If you do, we can craft custom furnace, shovel, bow, crossbow, rifle.
And ammo. Add a recipe of simple rifle ammo, wich made from gunpowder, leather, iron/copper.

And if you could, please finish the food rot feature. Add a preserving bin or something like that.
Recipe: a chest, 4 ice or snow or saltpeter. And the icebin keep the food fresh more time than the saltpeterbin. Or something like that.

    Thanks
    And keep working and posting
    I can not wait

For preserving food, maybe have something like a furnace, but it only holds food and snowballs. You need to feed snowballs to it to keep it running. It preserves food, but the snowballs melt.

Survivalcraft it´s a greatest game, but i think also need more options of food in survival mode. Is too hard to find it in the first days and very very hard to stay alive for the same reason.
You should think about this Kaalus, think it for your gamers. :)

thanks for doing that… once upon a time, me and my brother were playing this game in challenging mode… we crawled into a 1x1x2 hole and managed to place a block down… so we were stock there and my brother got a Honorable idea of throwing all of our throw-able stuff at the stone brick so we did the for about 10 mins and it never broke so we were stock there for a long time… the end.

Hey Kaalus! Now that you’re finally back, there were just a couple of things I wanted to point out relating to logos:
    – All of the app store badges in the sidebar are using outdated versions. You’re specifically not supposed to use outdated badges, and while I doubt they would care about this, the new ones would probably look nicer. A quick google search will find you the updated versions.
    – SC2 on Android doesn’t have an adaptive icon, which looks bad on most launchers (it will either appear with a non-uniform icon shape, or have a white border added around it). The foreground layer should be the game logo, the background would maybe just be black like on iOS, or could show a stone texture or something.

    Hi there.
Please consider saving the world into 16x16x16 chunks instead of the whole vertical chunk. It would save a lot of space since most of the world is filled with air and thus doesn’t change.
That way you won’t save the whole vertical chunk because a grass grew up. But you’ll need to save the surface pointer inside the chunk header.
I know it’s a lot of changes but it’s way better to save that way !

    Have a good day !

The game only saves chunks if changes occurred within them, to the best of my knowledge. If there were cubic chunks, all of the air chunks that are never updated may be replaced with a mountain in the same seed in the next update. This would bury buildings, and cause large stone chunks to float around. Unfortunately, this wouldn’t work.

I’m not sure if you answer these and I know you get nagged a lot about this but we super badly want cross device multiplayer. I haven’t heard you make any reply to adding that feature so that’s why we all keep reminding you. If you could just say whether its in your plans at all that would be super relieving, Thanks.
Also, do you have a developer team or has this game always been a personal project for you, either way, I personally cannot express my passion for this game and the community around it. You’ve truly made a masterpiece already, to see you throughout the years continue to work on it is amazing, and your updates never disappoint. We all hope that you do work on it for years to come, and I was so happy to buy Survivalcraft again when 2 came out because I was so glad to support a creator like you. So for one, please make a patron, and if you need to eventually, make us buy Survivalcraft 3!

Apparently when the MP came out but on a shared screen he showed photos that I tried it with his children, he works alone, the ruthless conquest servers could make them because he came to say that I work for another company, he works alone but if he has the opportunity of having a development team

There are so many games that already offer multiplayer options. I really like the fact that this is a single player game. If I wanted to have multiplayers, I would go play on Minecraft, but Survivalcraft is so much better than. I hope there will at least be a way to opt out of multiplayer if it becomes available.

This is the strangest post I’ve seen so far. If a game has MP, why do you need to opt out? You just don’t play mp.

You say SC is the best, but if you want mp, you must play MC. Really?

I was watching a Survivalcraft 2 let’s play, and the guy’s house burned down, and he caught on fire, then jumped into water that is in a snow biome. this got me thinking- what if shock due to drastic changes in body temperature was a thing in the game? I dunno really what would happen, maybe your player passes out or moves really slowly or something, but I think it’d be really cool, so then players would have to be careful when they are in situations such as that, or when they’re trying to get warm. Just an idea I had.
