Will let you know once it’s approved.

This leaves iOS. I usually leave it for last because it’s the most complicated submission, and the most risky. Need to fire up the iPad and do some last-minute testing.

    ok Kaalus im sad :(
    Im playing on gpd win.

atom x7 z8750 quad core up to 2.6ghz
    intel hd 405
    4gb ram

game can run almost solid rock 60fps with 320block render distance.
The problem is when im pluging in my x360 controller, fps goes down to 25-30 fps. no matter performance settings.i can set 32 blocks render distance, nothing changes

I have many apps from windows store, and normal windows games much more demanding than sc and everything works fine with them when im using controller.

in menu fps goes down from 60 to 42-45fps when im connecting my controller.
i have noticed wierd thing in task manager, survivalcraft cpu usage goes from ~5% to 15-18%. also service runtime brooker starting up and eats around 20 – 25% cpu but this is normal with uwp apps.

but in the game built in cpu info i see 20% cpu usage (we are still in menu:P ) and when im connecting my controller cpu usage shows 4-5% Oo

also more controllers i connect, more fps goes down :(

So there is a solution to this generic controller madness yes!!! I had tried input mapper and totally gave up. But I just realized I have input mapper 1 instead of 2. Lol. Silly me😂

Kaalus, Of course, I understand everything, survival, hardcore and all that .. But damn, with the flu and the new mechanics of eating – obviously bust. Add to the world settings (when creating) the items: “Food spoils,” “You can get sick” – these items can be ticked. Or add new modes for survival. Add some kind of fridge.
Craft of the refrigerator: metal ingots, wires, battery, ice / bucket with water / electronics (make a heavy craft) Add the ability to heat the milk. You can treat them colds. Add the blowing arrows. Kraft: arrows + sea urchin. Add a fishing rod. For after the spring 2.1. It became impossible to kill fish while in the water. You have to hit her five or six times (very cold = flu = death). It’s very foolish to give the fish survival as a wolf. Add more settings for creating maps (survival, travel, cruel) For example: Flu – on / off, Food spoils – on / off. And so on. To deprive the player of choice is bad.
Thank you for your attention. “

Your game slows down on Xiaomi Redmi 4 (2Gb RAM and 16Gb SD ) All this is because of your 2.1 ((

So kaalus i tested this on my main pc

    i7 4770k
    32gb ram

survivalcraft use 0.1 – 1% of my cpu when im IN MENU
As soon as i connect my controller cpu usage goes up to 2 – 5 % WTH?

performance with my cpu isnt problem but its clear thats something is wrong here, game consume too much performance when controller is connected. please investigate this :)

So I tested SC on android and Windows. It works great! I LOVE the new Block distance! I wonder how much my PC can handle. Your game is super optimized!
    Great work!

    For the controller part:
I figured out how to use input mapper 2.
My only problem is that when I am in Block Inventory and press D-Pad down it goes from page 1/3 directly to 3/3.
I don’t know if this happens because of Input Mapper or wrong adjustments or because of a bug.

Anyway! Thank you for this great update!

: ) Yeah thanks kaalus and please fix the R2/L2 problem!

  13. Posted July 2, 2017 at 11:54 | Permalink | Reply

Kaalus, there’s a problem here, why is L2 for digging and R2 for using/placing? Please fix this ASAP. Everyone knows it’s annoying because many people are used to using controls that are like Xbox 360/1 and PS3/4. It’s a little silly why it’s not fixed

You should upload Survivalcraft 1.0’s APK so we can go into the past and see how far you’ve come!

    • Posted July 2, 2017 at 21:02 | Permalink | Reply

That’s a so great idea! You must be new there. There is a post before Kaalus started working on 2.1 called “Survivalcraft prehistory” and he gave us some files to install on PC from a version before SC was realeased. I haven’t tried it, and I would like to, but unfortunately the link doesn’t wrk anymore. Maybe Kaalus has deleted the files for some reason.

    • Posted July 2, 2017 at 21:04 | Permalink | Reply

On the second thought, there is no apk for the version 1.0 that Kaalus could send us, since the first version of SC was released only for Windows Phone 7.

Yes. I have tried to reproduce the main menu the way I thought it will be changed after 2.1, but spaces did not work. So WordPress usually does that.

Add two new animals: Alpaca / llama – They can be used; Like mountain transport, food and warm wool.I know that alpaca used to be in older builds and I ask you to return it once you have remade the weather.

Would it be possible to have a setting in a later update that allows one to chose old terrain generation or new? I know minecraft has something similar. This new terrian many not appeal to all people. Like I do not like the way it looks no matter how I adjust it and on which seed, it still produces tall peaks that are standing alone and not many mountain ridge lines as before. It reminds me of the game discovery. Anyway, just a suggestion. but maybe something others might like as well.

    • Posted July 2, 2017 at 20:57 | Permalink | Reply

It would be possible, but this will increase the size of the app, which I personally don’t like. I have a device with less memory and any big update of something makes me run out of memory :-( But maybe if Kaalus adds the possibility of modding/ making extensions for the game (without making an unofficial app and modifiying the files of the game), I will sure like it.

      • Posted July 2, 2017 at 23:56 | Permalink | Reply

I suppose those of us who own the 1.29 version, as we purchased the furniture version separate, could download it and use it to generate maps and import into the new one. But still if it did not increase memory, something like a legacy function would be nice for terrain or at least maybe another way to decrease mountains back to the way they use to be in this update. Like a slider for them in the menu as well to decrease the peaks while increasing the range width a bit. If that would not slow it down. And the ability to make mods, mod, etc would be great.

        • Posted July 4, 2017 at 15:52 | Permalink

Yeah. It would be cool if we could adjust the size of the mountains.

Kaalus, finding iron ore is like near impossible. I’ve mined so much basalt (2 chests full) and only found iron ore veins twice, which combined left me with about 14 iron. I’ve gone through 3 diamond picks and have only come across germanium and sulfur. Yah might’ve reduced minerals a bit to much, idk. I’m certainly feeling it on my end.

      Posted July 2, 2017 at 22:14 | Permalink | Reply

Forgot, it was probably more like 4 chests of basalt. I’ve been tossing extra in lava cuz it doesnt do much.

    • Posted July 3, 2017 at 02:03 | Permalink | Reply

From what I have read, he made iron and diamond more resistant to explosives. You might try mining to whatever depth you find one iron ore at now, and then use TNT to destroy more basalt blocks, than you can with picks.

I like to go into caverns and explore downward as far as they go, naturally, using the deepest ones to mine down to diamonds. I mine forward one, then down one, and repeat until you reach lava, diamonds or unbreakable bedrock. Then you can better afford to use diamond pick axes. Take a lot of torches.

        Ah, thanks!

        • Posted July 5, 2017 at 00:33 | Permalink

No problem. I have noticed that in my current version diamond rarely occurs as the very lowest blocks before bedrock… that would be too easy. 🙄 I usually have to work my way back up, anywhere from 5 – 10 blocks to find diamonds, and while they occur in clusters, the clusters are really far apart. I would say that Kaalus designed the ore distribution to favor areas near large pools of lava. So sulphur and iron and maybe some germanium near those locations. If you have water, you can flood the lava, and then once it’s hardened you can walk on it to help mine ore in the ceiling or walls.

I have found Iron and Granite occurring together, quite deep, sometimes very close to where diamonds should be. (Remember that, a while back, copper and iron basically traded places, so now copper is much easier to find & closer to the surface.)

I found a glitch on the windows store (PC) version of Survivalcraft 2. About once every five minutes, I end up walking in one direction and I can’t stop. That has become very annoying.
Just in case it’s important, here are som details.
The glitch only occurs on a keyboard, game controllers are just fine.
The glitch only occurs in multiplayer mode.

Kaalus PLEASE read this and, don’t forget to add Survivalcraft to the Nintendo Switch and 3DS if possible!

    • Posted July 3, 2017 at 02:27 | Permalink | Reply

Yup this is confirmed by me! It is very annoying and I have to restart SC about every 10 minutes or less…and it seems to only happen when using the keyboard AND touchscreens with multiplayer.

A good animal for Survivalcraft 2.2 would be an Elephant! Also, Survivalcraft needs to have a platform for the Nintendo Switch console!

One more minor bug. This bug is only for the PC version though. When you sleep, It says TAP to wake up early. Maybe instead it should say CLICK to wake up early. No urgency, just thought it should be fixed.
Also, Survivalcraft would make a great game on the Nintendo Switch.
