Look what I got!

The Russian community sent me a world with a note not to open before Christmas.

Well, I opened it now, and look what I got:

Christmas Gifts.jpg

Loads of Christmas presents, in proper boxes, all under the Christmas tree! Every box is personalized.

It was a joy unpacking it all.

Beautiful! I think it’s the first time a game creator got Christmas gifts from the game community. I am touched. Thank you very much!

There’s even the grandpa statuette and a computer.

Amazing! I think you deserve it after all of your hard work on SC2. It also helps that you released a new game on Google Play. Even though we Amazon users can’t use it. Oh, well. Nice gifts though. Keep up the good work and have a very merry Christmas. Remember Jesus and everything he’s done. Bye!

I am a well, although we do not celebrate Christmas. But I do though understand that the reason people celebrate is for sincere reasons.

And did you edit the way the furniture lays on the ground in the image or did you make a new update where furniture can be diagonal without being choppy?

I think you may be right Kaalus, it could be a first. I’m constantly seeing great ideas in your update being implemented by the community. This is a great idea by the Russian community. Damn, wish I’d thought of it. My best wishes for you and your family this Christmas and New Year.

  14. Posted December 24, 2016 at 18:01 | Permalink | Reply

Excuse me Kaalus, sorry to interrupt you but I found some bugs:

When killed by orca, cause of death says “Killed by a orca” It is supposed to say “Killed by an Orca”

If you are killed by a black bull, it says “Killed by a” It is supposed to say “Killed by a Black Bull”

These are typos. Please correct them. Thanks!

Also, on the iOS version of the game, on older 64 bit devices such as iPhone 5S, iPhone 6, and iPad Mini 2, some of the 2D models of some items such as the match have an outline that is not well erased. Please correct this as well. Thank you!

And, occasionally, when there is a massive wildfire, there is fire in the air with no block. Continuously burning in the air.

Kaalus, please fix those bugs for the 2.1 update. Thanks!

Kaalus, you need to do something about SC 1 in Play store. I understand that it should still be there for those who are not upgrading, but maybe you must make it cheaper or whatever or maybe even add-based (I know you hate that, but consider it). The thing is that if somebody is going to buy this now and then find out that it is no longer supported or updated and that there is a ver 2 for only pennies more, they are going to be very angry with you. Also, fix the basic bugs on it as well. I know this will take time, but it is important.

    Just a thought.

Since when do developers listen to anyone?

      • Posted December 25, 2016 at 20:38 | Permalink | Reply

Kaalus actually does read what we say and I can tell you many things that he did from posts. It was users that asked Kaalus that coloured wires should not connect, that creative mode digging must have longer reach (I did), that logs must be able to rotate (again I), lighting bugs on slabs and many more by many different people.

I know that. Most of what I mentioned was from other players. I just mentioned these as an example. There are many more. it just happened that some of these were mentioned by me, but not by me only.

Well Pistons are too darn expensive. 45 Germanium requires hours and hours or mindless mining, and exploring. I’m more of a settler, I just like living in a nice house on the surface in cruel mode. Rarely do I ever dig down to the basalt layer for anything. I wanted more food types, recipes for more cooked dishes, and a boat that can’t be bitten through… But Most players play in creative so basically survival craft 2 is just like survival craft 1 for me.

Sorry to do this on the Xmas post but I wanted the most recent. I have a Samsung Galaxy Note Pro 12. 2 and there is a glitch – when I hold down the direction it eventually stops pressing the direction. If I use the direction buttons (I like the touchpad, but…) I can tell when it stops pressing the buttons. This makes it almost impossible to fight. I can’t stick and run.
This does not happen on my S7. It has been happening since before 1.29.

    Bug or WaD?
When placing carpet on top of a block, e.g. Brick, then using the hammer, the carpet takes up an entire block of space in the furniture design rather than retaining the relative dimension in the real world (1/16 of a block?)
