Bug on Windows Phone

There is a bug in Windows Phone version of Survivalcraft 2. Due to a missing file, it is currently impossible to import worlds from older versions of the game:

error

My bad! All other platforms are OK.

Thank you for reporting. This is already fixed and I am preparing an update to submit later today.

I know it is a bit childish, but the younger kids like to do it. I suppose kids are allowed to be a bit childish. It annoys me a bit as well, but let them be. It makes them smile a bit. Smiles usually (not always) are good.

Last version for WIndows Phone 7 is actually 1.28. Last version for Windows Phone 8 is 1.29. Thanks for spotting the bug that occurs on the Windows Phone version of the game for some users.

I found a possible bug. I think this one has been present since Alpha 1.27. Squelching sounds play when you are swimming. They are only supposed to play when you are on land. Thank you! Also, don’t forget to add 2.0 to updates history page.

On iOS (I play on my 6s, 10.1) there’s something up with the view. Occasionally it’ll just glitch out and spaz the view. So if I had been flying at a slight downward angle, the view flipped up for a moment and I had to correct it. I don’t know how else to explain it. It also happened when I was walking, but much more common while flying.

That has happened to me before the update. I haven’t seen it since the update, though. I play on an iPod 6 using 10.1.

On my iPad (Air 2, iOS 10.1) even though the framerate counter is at 60fps, when I look around or use the menus, it’s as if they’re being rendered at 30fps instead. There’s no problem walking or flying across the world as everything then moves nice and smoothly as you’d expect at 60fps, but as soon as I look around, the motion is very juddery and nowhere near as smooth as what you’d expect with 60fps. It happens on survivalcraft 2 as well as the original but it’s only started to happen in the past few weeks.

Just to note: I updated from iOS 10 to 10.1 a few days ago to see if that would help things but it hasn’t changed anything.

I found a bug on Android version of SC2. If you want to place two colored wires on one block, it will not work. If theres a red wire (for example) and I want to place a green wire on the other side, it will replace the red wire with green one. Hard to explain…

I have an issue with dropbox downloads if large world files. Existed in both 1.29 and this version. I simply cannot download them. Can provide more info. Seems to be a Windows 10 phone issue. Don’t have same problem on Windows Phone 8 or Android with same world. Simply refuses to download on my Lumia 950XL no matter what build of os. Can provide more details Kaalus if need be.

I found a few bug on the iOS version:
1a) blocks when dropping (sand, gravel, etc.) seem to lose their texture when falling… you can see the texture clearly before it drops, and after it drops, but while it motion it appears as a very dark color (black?)
1b) I think this also applies to pistons moving objects vertically… I know that if you attach a torch or light bulb to a block on a piston, moving it up and down interrupts the light output
    2) I have seen this in the old version of Survival craft (rarely) where a tree would have dirt blocks making up the trunk, but in this version it looks like dirt with no grass on it – pretty rough, and it’s higher up in the tree than the original version,
    3) flaming invisible leaves – when lightning strikes, you get burning leaves often, but once all the leaves are burned up, there persists for a time, a bit of fire burning away in empty air.
