iOS

I am now preparing a submission of Survivalcraft 2 to iOS App Store, so that you can enjoy it on your iPhones and iPads (or iPods). I’ll let you know once it’s submitted.

One change is that you now need at least iOS 6.0. iOS 5.1.1 is no longer supported, and so iPod Touch 3GS will no longer be able to run the game. iPod Touch 4 is still fine. These are ancient, obsoleted devices anyway.

As always with Apple, there is a large uncertainty factor. They for example may reject it altogether, forcing me to make some changes and resubmit. This happened before. Whatever they do, they take their time. Usually about a week. We are not likely to hear anything before that.

Вообще-то переводы в любой игре могут повысить количество игроков, а так же уважение и преданность разработчику.
// In fact, the translations in any game can increase the number of players, as well as respect and loyalty to the developer.

I’m not an iOS user but keep in mind that one year ago, the update was rejected due to nasty 18+ RPG worlds in the community content.

    Just a reminder… That’s all…

Well those worlds shouldn’t be appearing by default because of the filter opton from 1.29 – it will be on Normal by default, meaning that they won’t see the worlds unless they switch it to ShowAll.

Yes I do. You don’t have to hate Minecraft just because you play Survivalcraft. I play both.

    Survivalcraft 2.0 requires:

iOS 6 or later on the following devices:

    iPhone 3GS
    iPhone 4
    iPhone 4S
    iPhone 5
    iPhone 5C
    iPhone 5S
    iPhone 6
    iPhone 6 Plus
    iPhone SE
    iPhone 6S
    iPhone 6S Plus
    iPhone 7
    iPhone 7 Plus

    iPad 2
    iPad 3
    iPad 4
    iPad Air
    iPad Air 2

    iPad Mini (1st generation)
    iPad Mini 2
    iPad Mini 3
    iPad Mini 4

    iPad Pro

    iPod Touch (4th generation)
    iPod Touch (5th generation)
    iPod Touch (6th generation)

Unfortunately, the iPod Touch (3rd generation) and the original iPad will no longer be maintained. You CAN STILL play Survivalcraft, but it will be Alpha 1.29, NOT 2.0. If you want to play 2.0, you MUST upgrade your device to iPod Touch (4th generation) or later, or iPad 2 or later, or iPhone 3GS or later. iOS 5 will no longer be compatible anymore. YOu can continue playing Survivalcraft on iOS 5 but is will be 1.29. If you want to play Survivalcraft 2.0, you MUST update your device to iOS 6 (or later).

I used to use iOS, but I moved to Android. No more Apple review waiting for me :-). Anyway, I have a suggestion for a new logic gate: the “= Gate”. I have a few ideas for different variations. Here they are:

    Variation 1:
Takes in two analogue inputs and outputs F if they are equal and 0 if they are not. It could (I don’t know if this would be a good idea) output 0 – 7 based on how close the inputs are, if they are not the same.

    Variation 2:
The same as variation 1 except it only takes one input and compares it with an internally stored value set by editing. This could be created by using a battery and Variation 1 but this is neater.

    Variation 3:
This is similar to Variation 2 and can do all it can do and more. This is not really an “= Gate”, more an Analogue Truth Table. It takes in one (or more… I don’t know; this might get too complex if there were two inputs) analogue inputs and gives an analogue output in the same way a truth table does.

I think that at least one of these should be implemented as the current best way (that I have found) to check if a wire equals something is emulating Variation 2 with a A/D converter and a digital truth table. I think that these solutions are much easier.

what about windows. Ive bought and downloaded it on my phone… but the buttons are too small and it is not as fun as on pc also-My friend, Tom345 (as many long time followers of this blog may know), is suffering from a glitch where he can’t see anything in a 4 block radius. It looks the same as if you went into the void and looked up in 1.21. will this be fixed in 2.0

Bug for doogee (maybe all phones Im gonna try it on a galaxy s4 in a second) if you turn on the phone (whilst on survivalcraft) in a flat or portrait way survivalcraft logs on portrait. not too bad bug can easily be solved by turning phone off and on again.

Thank you Kaalus. I am so excited that (hopefully) the iOS version will be accepted by Apple sooner rather than later. I will gladly pay the full price if need be. I love Survivorcraft so much. Thank you so much for all of the updates and continuing to makes this fun. I also don’t mind not having multiplayers on Survivalcraft.
