The new feature

It’s ready. And I added a lot more fancy stuff to it than I originally meant to. But, as it takes time to make videos, I haven’t got anything grand to show you yet. Hopefully this little picture should set you thinking:

What we can expect to see from pistons and what can we make,
-Adjustable hight 1 block to atmost 5 blocks (Based on the new varible adjustment on electonics)
-Sticky pistons and or stick varible
-Piston like furniture like a recliner
    -Mechanical circuts
    -Obstacle courses with moving platforms
    -Hidden compartmens
    -Conveyor belts
    -Piston elevators
    -Sliding doors
    -Secret doors
*These are just thoughts and not confirmed*

I’ve been craving Survivalcraft more and more recently, … I don’t care if it takes you over a year, can the next update be multiplayer? It’s about time even if Survivalcraft’s single player isn’t complete yet, like Minecraft, will it ever be?

I just want to remind you or that video you made a few days before the release, it was a planned feature years ago!

Multiplayer is the most commonly suggested feature.

Multiplayer will even means stuff like less clan or chat worlds showing up left and right in Dropbox (btw maybe you should consider moving away from dropbox and getting a real database setup, this could lead to better world ratings, search ect). Btw the get content area is definitely a neat, yet different feature, I kind of like it yet it is definitely something unexpected :) although I’d prefer a different setup, keep up the good work!

Working alone is something especially hard for me, I find I get a lot more stuff done when I have company, even if there doing something completely different then my objetive, this is the same with games too. Imagine the cities and other creations build teams will create, especially with furniture.

You missed your shot once already, I 100℅ believe that if you had added multiplayer earlier on in development, Survivalcraft would be the mobile block game king. Especially when mcpe didn’t even compare to Survivalcraft. In many ways it still doesn’t. Even now mcpe’s ui and controls is something that makes you want to puke!

There are many more reasons you should add multiplayer, I want to encourage others to say some I’m the replies below.
    Kaalus, it’s about time!

I strongly agree with you, Kaalus I do strongly believe that after this update, it’s time for multiplayer, if it’s possible

      • Posted December 5, 2016 at 00:01 | Permalink | Reply

Keep in mind multiplayer would require total reprogramming of the game it would need a whole new structure and interface which would take many years

  16. Posted December 4, 2016 at 23:46 | Permalink | Reply

    This should be really useful.

Sorry if I sound like a noob but what will the uses of a piston be?

  19. Posted December 4, 2016 at 23:49 | Permalink | Reply

Definitely would like to see something beyond pistons. A platform that can be expanded on with a limited number of blocks. Making ships and mabye even planes that have to be powered with an engine via petroleum/oil.

    ● Crude oil blocks
    ● Engine
    ● Platform entity (like boats but expandable and powered with engine(s))
    ● An actual cannon w/ cannon balls (would be AWESOME)
    ○ Adding blocks to the platform would include them in the entity as well.

Pair all that up with multi-player one day, and boom! You’ve got yourself a way to navigate the seas, fight other ships, fly the skies, strafe your enemies, bombard bases, and most of all – a good reason to create alliances.

    hi kaalus
my name is felipe, i have any ideas for surivalcraft

i wait you answer me, thanks

    the first

1:as it is unrealistic potions (as in minecraft) thought, in particles of bugs.
for example: fireflies, which they would serve to see in the dark for a some time
    and also would have dangerous
    for example:
mosquitoes: If you get nauseous sting you for a while

2:a chat room where we can talk online to avoid creating wordlchat
    3: change texture of items
    for example: machete (sword)
    4: name of the player
5: option in the adventure mode: saved-sleep where when we die, all this as when we sleep (everything back into place, from the point asleep
    six and the end
6: please, please, please, change language, please, I speak spanish, very hard understand english
7:pleaseplease please please please add: explication of how you die in the game for example…: you died by a lion
8: kaalus, the snow block, don’t exist in the game, the snow block just is a carpet no block sorry for my english)
    9:kaalus female’s clothing

    thanks you for reading

    I hope you read

Top 5 major things off the top of my head that I think Survivalcraft needs!

    1. Multiplayer

    2. Language options (I’m English but I know there is especially a lot of Russian and even some Spanish players, language options is another way to see the game take off)

    3. Better world options/terrain gen!
Idk about anyone else but I also ways like to build In an area where I couldn’t see any snow as it just isn’t realistic to see it right next to the jungle. Maybe larger biomes, I always thought it’d be cool to spawn somewhere and have it be something like *really close to equator*(warm/hot) or moderate to far from the equator(cold/regular). But besides seed hunting the biggest problem I foresee is that if you want to go somewhere different but same world the world size will skyrocket (which is becoming more and more less of a big deal for most users). This would especially be nice on a 24/7 server that the world size wouldn’t really matter on!

4.A better way to get rid of trees other than matches (idk somehow more realistic?). I practically live off of fallen over logs.

    5. Some more generated structures,Y oy know the leaves trap? It is what I’m pointing more towards than NPC huts/villages, maybe something more natural though such as something like quicksand? Just some more interesting things put into the world that isn’t unrealistic.

I think in #3 option already exist. before you start the game or on creating new world you can set temperature and humidity under creative’s options. I hate snow so I always set temperature high before starting.
      Hope it helps. :)

I already knew about this, inactive used it to make all snowy /extreme heat worlds, but have come to the conclusion that I want a better system :)

I have an awsome idea 💡 what if survivalcraft had mods it would be like minecraft but better instead of going online we use community content to download, figure out a way to allow iOS users to download mods this could open up opportunities for the public make survivalcraft in the way they see it and may even shorten down requests

    • Sephiths
      Posted December 5, 2016 at 02:59 | Permalink | Reply

Yes it would be cool but I can’t picture it working well, unless you could get it in just a few taps (get content). Mods currently are actually pirated apps that change some of the game code, thy work on Android because to use them all you really got to do is install the app/apk. In order for this to work we’d a common way similar to forge where we can just add on to Survivalcraft’s code, this would take up less space

Me, I’d pass on the idea but I’m not against it
