Fireworks

With New Year’s Eve approaching, it would be grand if we had some nice fireworks.

If you feel up to the task, sit down, place some dispensers filled with fireworks, add delay gates etc. and create a grand fireworks show!

If you think it’s good, record a video and post the link as a comment to this post, or mail it to candyrufusgames@gmail.com. If you can’t record a video, mail me a scworld file instead (preferably with a player standing next to a button activating the show – I don’t want to run around searching for it :-).

I will post the best show here on the blog for all to see.

I know there’s not much time, but I hope we’ll get something nice.

Here’s a video containing random firing of fireworks from dispensers. I am sure you can create something much much better. Synchronization, matching colors, fancy patterns, it’s all up to you.

Btw. I am still working on 1.29, some painted slabs below:

    Ooo, looking forward to seeing those videos! I won’t do one myself, I haven’t messed around with fireworks much (I just launched them at animals) and I don’t really plan to, either. q:

    Painted Stone Brick Slabs? This means that the Stone Brick Block is Paintable too? Great!

    Hi Kaalus,
    Firstly I wanna congratulate you by the game that’s awesome, I play since the 1.20.
    And I know that you do a hard work for the game, and you have to handle some boring players like me giving you suggestions, but I think the game needs a “goal” to reach, for example Minecraft: for you go to the end, you need find lava, need a bucket, make a portal to nether, kill some blazes, kill some endermans, and so it goes. Well, in short, I think that could have more challenge in challenging mode.

    Hay kaalus this is a firework display for you…..
    Don’t judge my work based on how bad this one build is I will explain later just download it and the skins on the signes BTW the dirty crook skin is my most recent and you already have it on in the world…..
    One more thing this is nothing more than a proof of concept to show you that pictures are possible with firework displays…. The skins are just there to show you that I do care about what I make so if you can whitelist them I would be happy

    It just hit me and its totally messing with my head….. WE ONLY HAVE ONE CONTINENT!!!!!! Please change this so the generated terrain going in land eventually becomes ocian again o before I forget here’s a world that got really screwed up a while back by mem banks and rebooting my tablet by accident…

      Sorry to break it up dude, but that terrain was man-made. I went on a journey and found the mainland. Sorry but I knew that the land generation couldn’t possibly happen. Nice try though. Heres the link of that sane world in the mainland:

        Sorry to burst your bubble but it is not man made if you were there when it happened you would not be saying that if you pay attention to the world you would realize that the terrain is perfectly generated but is cut up I am fully aware that there is a mainland but it is complete new…. You want to know how it happened?…. I had a ton of mem banks full of fs and zeros and each one was hooked up to real time clocks to make an experimental luner calendar but I rebooted my tablet by accident….. Somehow the chunks got replaced by new ocean and placed at a new location…. Do a bit more research and you will find that there is more terrain than meets the eye… Parts of the old ocian are still there except they blend in to the new ocean…. Its real…. I hope kaalus himself can settle this by telling you that this is in fact authentic…. Real…. And not man made….. The only thing that makes this look man made is the fact that all bedrock is in tact and there is no gaps there….. O and before I forget…. Try out the bouncy… Were armor…. Get out of the world… Get back on…. Hop into the water and you should find that your boiancy with armor is the same as it was without it… Now take off some armor…. What you will find is that your boiancy is either supper low or super high…. I have walked on water in the world and learned a great deal about game boiancy doing this….. My conclusion…. Boiancy is a variable…… Try it!!!

          OK see its real… Thanks so much for this proof of the glich…. What I think is happening is that the world doesn’t save properly and when it loses the code stating the world is flat land or normal it just resets it to normal and finds a new location for some of the chunks within the visibility range you had during the event of an unplanned shutdown….. So what is happening here is nothing more than what happens when you restart a game system while you are saving

          And also the walking on water part is real I tried in this map first I tried to wear the armor but I was too heavy I sunk down in the ocean when I close the map and go in again I saw some changes my armor suddenly become lighter
          When I took off my armor and all of the clothes I sunk down immediately my weight changes when I wore only the armor
          I became lighter and I can walk on water it’s cool :)

    PLZ READ THIS COMMENT! Could you please make survivalcraft multiplayer like minecraft, where you can join other peoples worlds who are near you. If you did that, I would probably stop playing minecraft and switch to just survivalcraft.

      This was Explained a Lot of Times, Survivalcraft, at the moment, cannot have Multiplayer because need lot of Months of work do that… (More Details on the FAQ section of this blog)

    Since there are more data spots does this mean any of the following? Painted fence, tinted glass, sideways slabs, better looking trees (sideways logs), paintable wirethrough blocks, paintable fence gates, or paintable trapdoors and doors.

    Kaalus, can you make dispensers collect items thrown at them like chests? This allows for item transportation and is very necessary for some adventure maps.

      Perhaps there should be some sort of nerf to dispenser storage to keep dispensers from being simply a better version of chests (storing items, and being able to transport them, unlike chests) when adding this feature.

    * fixed the day/world open launch prevention circuit.
    * put a tree to the top of the fireworks building.
    * automatic night only launch is converted to switches “on” and “off”.
    *added more trees to the ground.
    * added more fireworks.
    * watching place is moved more farther than in V1.

    Kaalus! Kaalus! Kaalus! Please read!…. This is something that I would love added to!the game that absolutely no one has asked for before…. Please add a “memory” to some of the smarter animals…. You may be wondering why this is important or even useful…. I want animals to have memory tied into there pathfinding….. Shour wolvs have a sense of smell that gives them super tracking power but they act as though they have been in places they never have before like massive labyrinth’s that I built to research the extant of these solving skills…. But there perfect! They nead to have there own drawbacks….. This is where memory comes in… The wolvs will be more active….. Have a range of vision / smell and will explore there surroundings to form a memory of it so if a treat is out of reach instead of being so perfect it will use this memory to see if it is able to get to it then use memory to find the best path to it ……. Memory can be used for more than that but I fear that it is to hard to program action and reaction into the animals so if they step on a pressure plate they get fed so they can feed themselves…. Please think about some form of memory

      This is a known 1.28 error. It’s a new zip-encoding error from SharpCompress. If you set bit 11 of the general purpose section of each file in the archive it will work. If you have no clue what this means, send me your world and I can fix it for you with my new tool that is coming to SC (the tool is an editor with super advanced world editing powers)!

      And maybe a level up system of some sorts and maybe a feature that lets you hold one thing on the left hand (like a lit torch or a shield) and a tool on the right hand.
