Now something different. While cleaning up Community Content it was obvious to me that the biggest problem was hundreds upon hundreds of “clan” worlds. People were using Community Content as a sort of chat service, with messages being passed in world names. This caused massive pollution of the server, with literally 99% of new content being copies of one and the same world with some text on the signs changed.
Obviously, this is not what Community Content was intended for, therefore I have been cleaning all this stuff up. It was and still is a huge job.
However, I do understand that a lot of people were having their fun by playing rpg games using Survivalcraft, with Community Content as a communication medium. This is perfectly fine with me, but it cannot continue in the same form, because it denies the use of Community Content to legitimate builds. People sometimes spent years making them and they are well worth publishing, unlike a fantasy message intended solely for a bunch of people.
What I would like to propose to these people is this:
- Set up a website. With wordpress.com it’s a couple of minutes and completely free, and there are plenty of other options.
- On that website post your rpg worlds in the form of links, and download them from within the game (using From Link option). I think it will be even easier and more user friendly than having to trawl the bottom of community content for messages.
- If you email me a link to your rpg website I will publish it on this blog for anyone to see.

Kaalus, we can host these kind of worlds in Go Survivalcraft, given that the content of them is appropriate. We have a special place in the forum for collab worlds so I can provide you a link to that particular page.

Hi kaalus, is it possible for all community content to be uploaded/redirected/submitted to the survival craft website/forums… That way the moderators there can filter it through there. Then players can get CC from there.
True…I’ve been trying to integrate them all on one site so you only need one account, having no ads and many more features than the other site. I don’t think it’s going over well but Jonathan and I are trying our best to get the site as appealing and functional as possible. Only thing we need is the approval of Kaalus as well as forum and wiki admins. We currently have no response from them regarding this. Don’t judge the site before you try it. You should go there and see all the features it has before you jump to conclusions.

There are really a number of possibilities that come to mind for what you’re trying to ask, and I don’t want to write a novel of a comment explaining each and every one lol!

There is a bug on iOS with adventure mode, I can’t reset it! Even when I die (I set it to not allowed adventure mode respawn) the world doesnt reset, it just make me respawn at the place of my death… Thanks! ;)

I do agree that the clan worlds were pretty annoying, but I think you are getting too outraged, and quite frankly going too far by calling people “High School Flunk Outs”. You don’t know these people. You don’t know how their life has been. Maybe they didn’t have a choice. Yes, maybe some people just dropped out to be cool, but just because your behind a computer screen does not give the justifiable right to make fun of someone’s anguish.

All the really cool, took-me-two-and-a-half-years-to-build-this stuff was being underrated by all the RPG’s and bad worlds. Nobody should be talking bad to people for playing on them. Kaalus, When do you think we will be able to post worlds to CC again? I know your probably busy or taking a well deserved break, but could you please respond?
Kaalus Im not sure if this is a glitch or a pretty cool feature that you added, but you can actually throw things into a chest now! You just hold down on somthing in your inventory,such as wood just hold it till its outlined in red then throw is towards a chest and it goes in.
He did mention this feature. He posted about it here a few posts back along with a video.
This is a good way to deal with the problem of clan worlds. Many of them were not half as bad as people seem to think. The players who build quality worlds for role-playing will actually be able to play now.
I’d just like to comment on some 1.27 stuff.. Well first off the weather/freezing is just ridiculous. I’ll be in a snow biome and build a house with a fire and carpet and without major clothing like sweater or whatever I’ll freeze in the house. And also when I’m on the beach and in the water I’ll freeze so please change it. And also the fires burn wayyyy too fast. And a couple ideas would be having pets as in dogs or other animals to tame and also with the new clothing I saw the cowboy hat and jerkin it would be nice to have a kind of western theme with that being said I think old Wild West guns would be incredibly cool. Like a rifel or pistol and maybe shotgun or like varieties of the three and some with longer ranges. Anyways just an idea I thought would be cool. Thanks for reading

I absolutely LOVE this game! It takes up a lot of my time in the summer when I have nothing better to do. It is becoming so realistic and I love it and all, but I regret to inform you: I am very disappointed with this latest update. Why did you take away the publish feature? I know there were a TON of bad worlds out there, but there were some really good ones that I made friends on. I know it’s probably really hard to create a game, but could you please make a special feature for role play worlds or at least add multiplayer with servers? I was really looking forward to getting back in touch with my friends this summer, but, then the new update came out… I love this app, not only because it’s fun to play single player, but it also made it possible to talk to new people while having fun. I hope you get this, and I’m hoping you can add my suggestions in. Thanks again!
