Windows Phone 8.1 Submitted

I have just submitted 1.27 build for Windows Phone 8.1.

This is a new platform as well, although it was previously supported via Windows Phone 7 build.

I am no longer maintaining Windows Phone 7 – the new engine cannot support it as it is XNA only. In the unlikely case you are still using Windows Phone 7, you will be able to keep playing 1.26, but to get 1.27 you need to upgrade your phone to Windows Phone 8.1.

      SC Is the new mc

      • Posted April 5, 2015 at 00:09 | Permalink | Reply

No, it’s more distinct than MC.
        It’s Survivalcraft plain and simple.
Whether it reaches MC popularity is to be debated.
I’m sure if mods were released and were able to be created legally*
I know some mods exists as i’ve tried the T-Rex one which was awesome.
And if multiplayer is released with a PC one as well, it’ll be very popular!
Trust me, playing with friends/family is insanely fun. SC needs multiplayer

        • Posted April 5, 2015 at 14:42 | Permalink

he isn’t calling SurvivalCraft the new Minecraft. He is saying it’s the best thing out there. Like when a rapper says he is the “Real MC”

It will be submitted to the Windows Store, and I think it does share the same code as the Windows phone version. So I guess yeah.

You should set the default movement control to buttons. I see sooooooo many reviews where people say “Got this app and deleted it almost immediatley because I could not figure out how to move even when I looked at help menu. Do not get this app.” I think those would go away if you changed the default control mode to buttons.

    • Posted April 5, 2015 at 16:07 | Permalink | Reply

Kaaus had posted a vote before whether you prefer pad or buttons and touchpad won. But yeah there seems to be lots of comment like that in the map review. He should change it.

Well, if you Check out on the Google play store and you will read something like:
“Survivalcraft s***s because it’s impossible to reload Bows”
“Survivalcraft s***s because you can’t craft items”
“Survivalcraft s***s because there is not Creative Mode”

It looks like there are people who rated/commented Survivalcraft without playing…

Oh yeah… I checked the reviews on the wp store:
The suicide button cannkill you in creative so I no like the game.
        (wtf)
        There are invisible animals
        (omg settings)
I will like the game if it free I rate 5 but for now I will be stupidly ignorant of the need for income and rate 0 because I have not yet reached a stage in my life where I can count to 10.
        (I added a bit)

LOL. Fight ’em, post reviews correcting these lame claims. They don’t have what it takes to play SC.

Lol both survivalcraft and minecraft are good games are we gamers are lucky to be able to run such games on our phones :)

For me survivalcraft is the singleplayer game id play (tbh i dont think there will be multiplayer and i wont mind much cause survival mode is very good) while minecraft is for multiplayer (for me survival mode seems empty will need lots of content to be enjoyable)

+1 Even with MC’s rich creative features, you can’t share worlds, that’s no fun. So I stick with SC.

Windows Phone 7 should be supported in 1.27, but with limited features. For example, no new engine and no proper water transparency.
