In 1.26 there is only health indicator, the hearts. In 1.27 there will be three: health, hunger and outside temperature. Have a look:
The temperature indicator shows environment temperature, not body heat like in the vital stats panel.
When it’s all blue, it means the temperature is optimal. When it turns dark, it means it’s too cold. When it turns orange, it’s too hot.
If you are properly clothed, with long johns, socks, sweaters etc., you can function in almost all temperatures. Only the most extreme cold, when the indicator is all dark might make you shiver a little. Unless you get wet. Being wet pretty much nullifies all clothing until you get it dry. In 1.27 you can stand close to a campfire to do so.

me too. Kaalus, can there be a option to turn off the body temperature in adventure mode. it has ruined all of my adventure maps. :(

I have to agree Kaalus. Don’t care for the the bars. Looks messy. And no need for so much screen realstate for temperature. Just put one thermometer that changes color. That’s all you need. Same with hunger. Maybe keep the health hearts. This is one of the very very few changes you have made that I literally cringed a little.

..Although I’m sure Kaalus had mention he doesn’t want the game to be too tedious…but then again I hear players saying the game gets boring.. I take that as they are running out of things to do in the game, i.e hunt, gather, build…To me.. The more “upkeep” I have to do to sustain my characters life, the more engaging, emersive the game will be… All survial shows that I watch, and know… Shelter, water, food… Just my 2cents :)

What about oxygen? Like when you’re swimming. I think that would be REALLY useful. Probably more so than temperature. Maybe the temperature indicator could turn into an oxygen indicator when you’re under water.

Kaalus, what is the use for a thermometer if we have this?
If you put the thermometer or hydrometer next to the led’s or the Number lights, it will tell exact temperature or humidity.
And can be useful for electronic circuits temperature-related…
An example is a door than can be opened only if there’s a high temperature or a fire nearby…

Can u add option for old indicator like it more
In my opinion, what’s the use of a thermometer? Why not wetness or body temperature? I think there should be an option to switch the indicators out, customize it.
There are other uses for thermometers. If you put a thermometer in a cold area, and attach it to a gunpowder keg, it won’t go off, but if you light a fire near the thermometer it will send electricity to the keg, and set it off.

Thanks kaalus! Can yo please add more types of horses,saddle bags, the ability to take a saddle,pack packs,a cart that can be pulled by horses or Bulls, and a search engine to community content? Any of the would be great to see in 1.27
And the ability for the saddle to wear out just like clothes but slower

i dont like the idea of outside temerature isnt that what you need a thermometer for but on the other hand body heat is more realistic!
