I am considering changing the default movement controls from pad to buttons. I personally prefer the pad, as it gives you more control (moving slowly, moving diagonally, etc.), and takes less screen space to boot. But if overwhelming majority thinks different…
Note: this is only to change the default, you will still be able to select your preferred control in the settings.

First! Aniway,it’s not a big deal.
I personally like the pad better. But for those coming from minecraft, the buttons make a little more sense. I know that when I first started playing Survivalcraft, I found using the pads to be a little confusing. But once I got used to them, I preferred them over buttons. So…I think the default should be buttons. But that won’t stop me from using the move pad instead.

I prefer the button , but I also prefer the option to have the button/pad on the left or right of the screen, I have it on the right as I do on MineCraft PE
that is to say I would like the option on SurvivalCraft to have the button/pad on the “right” or left, as “I do” on “MineCraft PE”
I personally use the pad. I find it much easier than the buttons. The pad is simular to MCPE’s D-Pad (Please keep in mind SC was out before MCPE).

I say the buttons should be default because most the time in reviews for this game or when someone complains they say the controls are hard to get used to and they don’t know they can change it

Every time I’ve seen it they start and since the pad is default they end up complaining about running slow and not picking where they move. Then someone comments “you can change the controls” and then they are all better and never complain again
Really? Because I’ve seen bad complaints for the buttons in the iOS App Store. The pads are so much easier to move, split controls is where it’s at

Hard to get used to? I LOVE THE PADS!!! It makes walking around sooo much easier! Ive gotten used to walking around in SC so much, i just choose to have them not displayed now so i can see more of whats around me.
Pad is better for me.. More freedom, diagonals are easier.. With the buttons, I tend to miss.. Movement becomes to precise to execute at times
Hey Kaalus, my movement speed in SC when i was playing was over 100%. It was reading 105%. Is it supposed to be like that? Everything else seems to work GREAT unless what I said about the movement speed is wrong, then EVERYTHING IS GREAT! It’s actually a little difficult getting the clothing from all the canvas and cotton. I have yet to make full cotton clothing but i did make full leather and 1 iron chestplate and a fur hat.
Cant wait to see what you’ll have for us next Kaalus!

Kaalus, i forgot to ask you, is the freezing thing just an image the way it fills in around the player, or is that like a function/equation to have it do that? I looks really cool! I just recently learned to use arraylists in java and OMG they are sooooooooooo helpful!

Is this a bug? I spawned a few hyenas in a zebra herd and the zebras AND the hyenas started runningn in the same direction. I figured that the hyenas were pursuing the zebras but the hyenas ran past the zebras and kept running and running. Also, this is the same with lions and tigers. But I did get the pirahna to attack stuff. Good touh with the cassowaries, I learned pretty fast that they are fierce birds.
This isn’t only with zebras, I tried gnus, cattle, and reindeer.
Not a bug. Dangerous animals avoid you during the day.
era um bug, todos os animais fugiram loucamente para uma única direção, mas já foi corrido para 1.26.2 e melhorada para 1.26.7, mas eu ainda prefiro o sistema da 1.25, em que eles não fugiam e predadores atacavam durante o dia, e também javalis e lobos caso ficasse muito tempo perto deles, pois você é um ser desconhecido em um novo mundo, não ter porque eles evitarem.

This has nothing to do with the vote but fix stairs so they can turn inward and make it so you can place wood horizontaly.
Kaalus has to make blocks 32 bits instead of 16 bits(i think he said thats how much) before he can do that.

Is there any way you could make it so that split controls and the look pad are working at the same time? Its really hard to jump in split controls without being able to click the look pad. ‘-‘

Using the buttons! Very easy to use and pads are hard to use if your screen gets dirty.
i use the buttons on my phone and the pad on my galaxy. i like both of them ;)

Hey Kaalus, do you have like a list or something for updates that people want? Well you know, I’m a big fan of Survivalcraft (in fact I think I think I like it better than Minecraft), and I thought that you could maybe add like villagers or something because of 2 reasons: The game would become more popular and you know what that means ($), and second because people could make cities with actual people and not any wood painted people. Well I’ll leave it up to you. Please consider this message and don’t just ignore it, Thank you.

Why not. Add an option for the player to pick the default upon. First initialization of the game?
The only items I would like to see in future update(s) are wagons That I could put a chest of two in and have a moving chest to hold cloths etc. Another thing I’d like to see is a bigger boat that I can put a chest in so water travel can be a little safer, 2 whale hits could still bring down a ship then. Also add greater block requirements etc, to keep things interesting, maybe 40 wood planks for my wagon might make it a little tougher to build.
