No clothes on respawn

Because clothes are now a normal item like each other, it would be silly to give the player a new set every time he respawns. In no time he would cheat his way into a huge stockpile.

So in 1.26, you only get your tattered clothes on first spawn. Every respawn after that, you appear naked. Or rather in the boxer shorts :-) Tough.

I’m working hard to get the game released for Christmas. There’s a new plant coming, with 3-stage growth setup. Almost finished working on it. It is to do with clothes. I’m sure, as usual, you can guess what it is:

Can it grow on normal grass all the way? Or does it need to be tilled? Also does saltpeter effect the growth? But anyways nice job on the Colton plant it’ll give a cool look to nature and a new meaning of farming.

Also how do clothes disappear? Do they disappear? Do they get worn out eventually or do they stay forever?

    • Posted December 8, 2014 at 01:12 | Permalink | Reply

Yes, they wear out. Double quick when you are wet, so careful with swimming :-)

Does it take long to dry out? But I’m glad you made being wet effect us.

I’m KrazyKreations aka K.K. on SC! Kaalus, I LOVE your game and I had a few suggestions that I thought would make the game even more interesting! 1. Penguins! Wouldn’t that be cool? 2. Tides for the ocean! 3. You should be able to get sick and die if you don’t get treated. 7. You should be able to craft medicine to help you if you get sick! That would be AWESOME!!! And can you color and design shirts? I may have more ideas later :-)

Read my book Princess Isabelle and the Hidden dragon and play my worlds! Howrseland, A Vets Life, and Girlz Town! (Girls only!) REAL WORKING PORTAL is on the topped rank and has 50+ downloads! Thanks! -K.K.

Probably cotton. Might be linen though. As a suggestion, it would be sweet if you can obtain fur from animals and make warm clothes out of them. If different animals dropped different coats, you could be able to make fur coats for all types of environments!

I guess this means no wolf pelts and finally give all those annoying wolfies a use? Or is there still a chance?

  22. Posted December 8, 2014 at 03:22 | Permalink | Reply

No really what is the saltpeter effect?

    • Posted December 8, 2014 at 03:26 | Permalink | Reply

Sprinkle saltpeter on the tilled soil and whatever you plant there makes it grow way faster. (You can use the soil more than once)

You use it for preparing the dirt to make wheat.

Hey Khal can I ask you something. Do you think you can try something new. When you kill a animal you can have the option of either take the meat and leather, or to leave it as bait for bigger animals. And if you Implement rotting you can take some bone and make a blow gun. And using a certain item and a bone shard you can turn it into a sleeping dart that can help with a hastily retreat if you have a bear chasing you or something worse.

Cause I think it would be kinda cool to walk around and find animal bones laying around. It could let you know if a predator is in the area, like how rotten it is can tell you how long ago the animal was in the area So you know to be careful (if your a careless person) it’s just a idea hope you don’t mind. And also can you have like a food chain thing. Like say….a tiger kills a cow.. Then the wolves come in then the hyena…then maybe insects or birds…..something along the lines of that Also….with the bears….do you think you can possibly allow skinning the animals…cause I have a cabin in survival craft and would KILL for a bear skin rug and maybe a few mounted animals XD

I can not WAIT till the new update

Kaalus if you put spawner eggs in a chest in creative then change it to challenging the spawners are still there AND IT WORKS. Although it’s cool i think you should fix this………..or is it a bug and just works for me?
And when a spear bounces back and hit me it push me backwards but there’s no sound spear hitting me(whack) and i don’t lose any health.

The spwner egg isn’t a glich it works with any Item ________________________________

Spawners are supposed to be there even after you change the mode. You can use them on challenging but you can’t craft them.

  35. Posted December 8, 2014 at 10:21 | Permalink | Reply

I know. It’s cotton. I think Kaalus will add alpaca too in this update. Because alpaca produce wool. Cotton for heat temperature like desert, wool for cold temperature.

Templates for clothing items? Assuming we can design them too, how soon can we get examples?

  37. Posted December 9, 2014 at 14:03 | Permalink | Reply

Wow, Kaalus! You are on a roll! Great job! I had a few more ideas on stuff to add. Imagine waking up from your soft wooden bed to a distant roar. You race your your nearest window trying to get a glimpse of the mysterious object. in the distance, you see a huge tall twisting tornado headed right for your house! Blocks begin flying everywhere and one hits your new glass window shattering it! You scream and franticly begin digging a cellar in your floor. The tornado passes close by killing several cows but sparing you and your house. Adding a tornado would be the thrill of a lifetime! Also, seasons! Winter, Spring, Summer and Fall! Fall could be harvest time and whatever you have planted will be your food for the winter! You can use it sparingly, or eat it all up! Hurricanes and tusunamis would be epic too!

One more amazing feature would be planets that you can build rockets and travel to! Completely different from Minecraft, and an unique twist! -K.K.
