Here’s clothes progress update.
I am now past the visual stage, which is working and looking nice. There’s a few little niggles, but the heavy lifting is done. The clothes render in all viewports, inventory, as pickables or projectiles, and look good.
Here’s the family album, various clothes and armor combinations:
As you see, you can wear multiple clothing and armor items in each slot! I think this is the coolest feature of them all. You can wear underclothes, then proper clothes and finally top it up with armor. All the effects combine.
Almost turned the game into a “girly” dress-a-princess game :-)
I am rushing towards the release, hopefully not much longer to wait now.

Next update you should add a working TV to the electrics, it could just show ran dome picture of survivalcraft and animals. And maybe you could add a Pegasus or a dragon as a rare rideable, and the only way to get a saddle in one is to sneak up on it.
Survivalcraft is a game of realistic features and I don’t think adding imaginary or mythical creatures would make it better. 😕
The added wearwolfs so what make you think he wouldn’t concider adding these things
He added werewolves as a Halloween update. Dragons and pegasus’ are too mythical. Wolves turning into werewolves makes sense.
aesop explained the werewolves in his blog. They are not werewolves, but more so wolfmen.
Oh and has there ever been a name for the default guy other than “default guy” ?

I have a couple ideas though. Could you maybe make clothes colorable? For example, shirt + green paint = green shirt. Also, could you add a female character?

You can place a piece of clothing in the cannon. It’ll fly.

Why, its just like every other entity in the game? This isn’t something new, everything is basically a projectile…
It’s cool because I didn’t know items their sale could fly I thought they had to be blocks to fly, but man you sounded really rude loosen up bro.

How would clothes work with skins exactly? So many skins have so many different ‘clothes’ you can say. Wil skins be included int he texture pack so they can customized?
I think he means this is one of the different ways you can view objects in-game. Most objects can be discarded by throwing them down – projectiles are anything thrown. As opposed to “projectile weapons”. Unless a bug get in, and we have lethal underwear!

Your clothes will just go over your skins.. For example if you had a ironman skin.. You would have armor or fur coat over that.. The iron man skin underneath as your “skin”

Fantastic – obviously a lot of effort going into this release. Two questions – 1) does the 3/4 length chain-mail example mean we could also fashion capes? And 2) can we add horns on the helmets?

Alright, well my post was deleted and im glad it was because I hadn’t realized how big it was :/
It just had a pic of different armor styles like Skyrim Stormcloak officer armor which has a bear hot and bear claw torso which would be cool in SC,
It had a pic of Skyrim steelplate which I was hoping kaalus could add shoulders and shoulder guards to the iron armor making it look even cooler,
and I had a pic of Skyrim hunting armor because I think we should have hunting armor.
Also a pic from Fallout of a samurai because who doesn’t wan that armor?!?!

Can you make it were all whales will jump out of water and don’t forget alpacas,ropes, different types of Dolphins, hermit crabs, breeding, multiplayer, and different colors of horses instead of just 5 colors

No it doesnt. While Minecraft had diamond armour it doesn’t mean we can’t have it. It’s not like Minecraft created diamond armour.
In that case… if the game adds everything from Minecraft and say that it doesn’t own it, things wouldn’t end well :P

Not gunna happen. SC is realistic. There will certainly not be other demensions, portals, and enchanting. I can see potions/remedies for if you take damage or want more adrenaline/stamina boost in a realistic way.
