I asked this already on Twitter, but to get more responses here it comes again:
In 1.25, I made some changes to make the game run better under experimental ART runtime on Android (which is the successor of Dalvik). I haven’t tested those changes yet, but I am curious how it fares on various devices. If you are running ART already on your phone/tablet, could you please let me know whether the game works properly, and what device do you have?

Oh and tiger guy,I was first but your prediction about the post itself was wrong. I can’t wait to see what’s coming out for 1.26, I’d like to see more uses of the string, like a net, because it’s so hard to get fish. I wish we kept the old sharks and piranhas,I don’t really like the bass
I was right about you but not about the post
cool!
I believe my Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) is using ART since the Kitkat update a month or so ago. I have had no problems with the latest version of the game.
What is it?
I’m using Samsung s 4 running 4.4.2 and the game runs great
I don’t know whats ART but all I know is the game runs smoother than in 1.24
My device is Samsung Note II running 4.4.2
I’m just need to know on art stay tuned for updates later tonight something particular where I must look at it
sorry I need to say I’m testing now
I’ve used ART with survival craft, and although the load up screen is a bit longer the first time you start it(as expected) it definitely ran with less lag spikes, I can’t really speak for anything that might have needed to be fixed as I’m currently back to using the Dalvik Runtime. If you’d like I could switch back to ART to test it more extensively.
My device is a Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 gt-p3113
Sweet! i have the same device but my model is GT-P3100
I cannot find the developer options in my new phone at the time but when I do I’ll try it out.
And about that Community Content error I emailed you about earlier- it’s all working properly now. Sorry to waste your time.
you must first unlock it by tapping on your build number find this under setting scroll down to about phone and clicking the few times building number I don’t know which Android version you are running but if this does not work for you google it for your Android version
Thanks it worked :-)
no thanks mate I’m happy to help it’s a little thick that you need to know BTW clicking on your Android version a few times you get the Easter egg inside Android
Hehe love it :-)
kaalus I have played the game using ART I can find no different between the old and system its not starting up faster or maybe a few milliseconds ART or Dalvik on my tablet I can run the game maximum settings and view on max without any lag I am using my new quad core 1.6 Ghz tablet running Android KitKat 4.4.2
my tablet is from medion life tab s7852
Everything runs just fine on the nexus 7 FULL HD version (2013). Thanks for adding ART support!
After playing for about 5 minutes I found the startup time to be the same. Perhaps a tiny bit slower. But when playing the game itself I found it to be considerably more laggy…I have a Samsung Galaxy S5.
How can it lag on such a powerful device like S5 it has the latest android too my tab 2 has gingerbread 4.0 and the game runs smooth on normal settings it gives me a messege your device is slow but it dosen’t lags i can increase it to 92 blocks visibility range it lags a little on 128 block though.
in the first place you Android version is not the latest one maybe four your S5 my tablet run Android KitKat get the latest version so far I knowon this device I can the settings to max on my mobile phone using Android jelly bean I can not use. Maximum settings and I get sometimes same message you getsimply turn the visibility rains down this will help a lot when it get lags
Tiger, your ANDROID SOFTWARE is very old. Gindgerbread is 2.3, a successor to Froyo. Gingerbread’s successors are Honeycomb (3.0 – 3.2.6), Ice Cream Sandwich(ICS, 4.0 – 4.0.4, my OS on Android), Jellybean (4.1 – 4.3) , and the latest KitKat (4.4- 4.4.3 or later)
Kindle fire hd
I cant play on art, bc im on android 4.2.1
How do I upload stuff to the community content?
4 questions like it go to forumshttp://survivalcraft.lefora.com
In 128 run good 160 good but with a little time start to lag
In have a = insignia NS-14T004 android tablet
I have an iPod 4th generation and the game has always been a kinda laggy.
The game runs smoothly with every in-game setting turned up to the maximum in 1080p with my HTC One M8 running Android 4.4.2! I’d say that’s a huge improvement.
Hey kaalus in the next update or in future you can made the boat that left you in shore come back for you but they are pirate (enemy) and look for you in the entire world for to kill you they travel in groups of 2 or 3 and when you kill then they give you diamond like that the game got a story
Kaalus, for 1.26 I want you to create a backpack / satchel for the character, cause, I cannot see how do you put all the items inside nothing, so to make it seem like it makes sense, make a backpack model, I’m glad no one is waging a war of the ages now………
