In 1.25 I am adding a lot of new ways to obliterate the environment in funky and inventive ways. Here’s a new video for you, please have a look:
To summarize, you are getting fire arrows for the bow, explosive bolts for the crossbow and bombs for throwing around at leisure.
My chief concern was that the survival mode gameplay would degenerate into a fireworks fest, but I made sure they are not too easy to produce in large numbers. You have to use them carefully and conserve your resources. Not so in creative mode, of course. I think I should rename it “Destructive Mode” as of today :-)

I hate to break it to you all, anyone that spams like 1st, 2nd, 3rd etc. could you please grow up, I know very much, what I am saying, I know that what is put stays on the internet, but this new group of people is demanding irrelevant things to be added, is making worlds that take 10 seconds to assemble, and spamming for multi-player like the whiney bunch of kids you all are. Why is it, that people have become completely unsophisticated and unhelpful to this game, this game has great potential, don’t ruin it for Kaalus, and make his day any longer, he has enough on his plate already. Everybody that makes those worlds, just to say one phrase to one sentence to someone else, just make a forum account and screw around there, if you’re demanding something that is completely irrelevant to the game, or something that could take multiple years (i.e. multi-player) code it yourself, go on, I’m certain that you have the capacity to make 1000 line c++ scripts, for one simple function. Long story short, pricks who demand useless items, leave! I really want that time back, when, when people like Sir Knight were around, when people had relevant reasons for stuff, when, if worlds could be published, there were only those masterpieces created by real thinking people. Angry thoughts, from an enraged and very sick SC player.
And further more, I see a bunch of people who take this for granted, this masterpiece of a game, I think that is utterly unacceptable, despicable, when did you pieces of trash become human? There are people, who are appreciative of Kaalus’ work, and they do fine, but you people that ask and demand and never thank in return, ugh, you make me vomit, you people know who you are and should be truly ashamed of yourselves, code your own multiplayer, I’ll get back to you in 30-40 years.

Hey I agree with you epicusername. I’m not coding anything at the moment (since I’m still practicing/learning(so far I have 8 months doing this btw. :D(and am learning C/C++/Asm))) but I do know that coding something is really hard. You have to plan it out, experiment, fail, experiment, fail, experiment again, and fail until you finally get it to work. It takes HOURS!!! I tried creating a OS with multiple functions and just no man. I couldn’t do it. I just can’t. I don’t know how kaalus can handle all the stress from coding and failing. Especially from all these retarded, pointless requests kids post on here everyday. Its so bad its not even funny when I see requests stating that they want kaalus to add something ridiculous like Pokemon(yes somebody has asked for this already.).

Ever play World of Cube? It has multyplay but only in (very) limeted world size and creative mode, and you can only build, you can’t interact any of the blocks such as tnt. Som i’m glad Kaalus hasn’t put multyplayer in. Because it’s only fun if you have something to do while your with other people, and at this rate… IT WILL BE AWSOME! Imagine what kind of hunger games maps there will be now, with all the new weapons!

I hate them. They attack without being hit sometimes in the day. They attack at night and are nice in day. They spawn too often. In the real world, wolves can’t just simply be tamed. Dogs should be a tamable mob. I just don’t see it working with wolves

MC dogs do attack for no reason, but at night only
MC dogs can be tamed. SC wolves can’t. And SC wolves spawn in a unusually large amount. I would like them a little more if they stopped spawning in insanely large groups

Excellent update so far, since you’re done with weapons, how about working on something that i wanted to see in the game for a while, animal aggression against other animals,its not fair animals don’t attack each other every now and then, they are animals after all.For example, lions attacking hyenas and vice versa or tiger hunting weaker animals for food or werewolves that attack all the other animals on a full moon, pretty sure werewolves aren’t supposed to be teaming up with bears and lions to kill me at night.

Actually, he has already explained to us before. If I recall right, Kaalus said that multiplayer would be a huge thing to add, so he won’t just directly delay us from other updates to add multiplayer, instead work on it bit by bit.
He did explain. He said it will take a long time. I definitely know c++ can make multiplayer games. He just has to add a few things before he just decides to rush in all of a sudden and wrecklessly throw multiplayer in without planning how to do it.
Besides he can’t just add everything at once. He adds a certain group of features each update.

Make a 4x3x3 tube of iron, dig out the middle so that it’s hollow all the way through, place a small or medium powder keg at one end a a weaker block like granite in front of it on the inside light the keg and put a iron block in front of the hole on the kegs end. And Boom! (Literally). You have a cannon.
I wonder if it is going to be possible to Drop bombs or kegs in the barrel and shoot those away.
Or drop just blocks in the barrel instead of placing them.

Placing them is easyer because then you can leave the cannon loaded for days and not have your ammo disapear. But the bombs is a great idea, i’ll try that when the update comes out. Come back here for the map of cannons later.

I had an idea (oh great lol) maybe in 1.26, you can add natives. Like, Indians. Maybe they can spawn in villages with some houses, or down in a cave/mine. Depending on where they are, they can be armed with spears, pick axes, or swords. Most will probably be hostile, but some might be friendly. In the houses, there should be a furnace, crafting table, and chest. Chests might contain meat, ores, ect. Also, maybe the natives can have fences with various animals in them. Cows, horses, ect.

For some of you it seems like you want is a cheaper minecraft, so you just won’t be happy with what you got untill theres minecarst, wolf taming, multiplay, npcs, etc. Ever hear the phrase “count your blessings”?

What about a mob that stalks you and tries to kill you by adding traps? This mob could be an old survivor who lost his/her mind and lost hope with all humanity and seeks revenge by killing you.
Yay! Someone with creative ideas, adding to traps you should be able to input the new weapons kaalus added, e.g. a bomb under one block with a new pressure plate with a grass or dirt texture above it, someone won’t see it and consequently will be blown to shreds, a bow/crossbow trap with a trip wire, that would of course be made of string and would be placed between 2 items e.g. 2 trees, then the string/tripwire would pull on something holding the arrow/bolt in place. A trip wire could also be used with a bomb. Or how about this, bear trap made from machetes (any material) 3 machetes down each side on a crafting bench, 3 iron down the middle, then combine that with one trip wire in a crafting bench, then plop it down.
There are tons of grasstraps with spiked planks all around me, and I didn’t put them there. I almost died a couple of times.

Anyone care to bet that the new feature is taming animals, multiplayer, or mine carts to help with the cost of the new weapons.
I also think that animals need some work, reindeer, gnus, bulls, cows, and birds all travel in huge flocks or herds, wolves will be fine once we get the new weapons, but herds and flocks need to be a lot larger, and bears usually are only found in real life in twos, in twos with their cubs, or by themselves. I also think there should be young animals, schools of fish, and more kinds of fish, there should also be monkeys and apes and many other animals like elephants, alligators, snakes, mice, hawks, eagles, lizards, goats, alpaca, deer, bees, butterflies, moose, oxen, squirrels, doves, pigeons, chickens, and roosters

He should add a rainforest biome. Here there would be tall trees with vines of course reaching to the floor and a large canopy blocking out sunlight. It would be very hot and humid and would constantly rain, hence the name rainforest. Here tigers would find a home. He should also add snakes, small spiders compared to mine crafts large spiders, alligators/crocodiles and muddy water. He also should add rivers and large weeds that grow in forest water. He should add swamps for the alligators/crocodiles to live in as well. Tell me what you think please.

I agree, except for the spider part. They’re kind of useless. Since the game is realistic, no one in real life can use spider webs without some technology.Even with the the they would only be useful if you wanted to be Spider-man. But it would make the game harder with spider webs between trees, slowing us down during chases, so there is a good chance that Kaalus might add them. One problem is that they would look realistic, and I have arachnophobia.And rainforests wouldn’t be “very hot”, because the fact that the sun was blocking it out and plants couldn’t grow. Other than that, these are things he should definitely add in 1.26

i thought the update for new weapon is a cannon. can i suggest for a cannon?
here is the detail, sorry, i dont have the picture yet, but heres the detail. the cannon is compose of 2 blocks: the mouth and the tail. it will be place horizontally. the mouth and the tail have an inventory/ work bench like, where you will put the cannonball and the gun powder respectively. they have one slot for the inventory. when the tail have enough gunpowder, you can lit it with a match stick, and boom!!! the cannon ball will destroy the blocks it will hit.unless you didnt put a cannon ball in the mouth of the cannon. please, i will put pictures when im done editing it.. please consider my idea. thnx

Kaalus can you explain to us why you won’t reveal to us the source code of the app? It’ll give us the ability to mod it making it even more fun. We all know you care about the user’s level of enjoyment when using the game. Why not make it open source to let the modders make the game funner? You hold the copyright to this game and it’s code.
I believe it’ll be more help for you too since we’ll be able to revise the code and look for any bugs and report them to you with a fix.
So overall, not only will making it open source be good for you, but it’ll be good for the users as well since there will be mods.

When he adds multiplayer it should be more social than minecrafts multiplayer. It could be profiles, friending, clans, servers that can hold alot more players, game invites, profile inboxes for messages sent about posts, messages on popular servers, server updates,messages from other players, and in game updates to make it busier and exciting.

I don’t want to get involved, but it is hard to take you seriously when you make constant grammar errors, such as when you said “I think it’s funny that your acting so tough…” You made an error, you were supposed to use you’re not your. One cannot blame autocorrect or typos when in every post, you make more than one grammar mistake. Do not involve me in your petty fighting, in the future try to revise grammar mistakes then your insults become insults. When you make grammar mistakes, it is easy to make fun of you
I have an idea, since people are complaining about people bombarding kaalus with stupid requests what if comments 1-10 are reserved specifically on praising kaalus on his accomplishment then comments 11-21 shall be for feature ideas, after the ideas are commented everyone gets together and votes on the top 3 features they would like to see. After the voting all everyone could be free to share what they like on the new feature specific to the post. This should limit the amount of requests and ease kaaluses nerves (assuming he gets frustrated looking at all the requests)

If he was to Nerf the bows durability their would be no point in even building the bow so scratch that idea
The point of reducing the durability of the bow is because since it’s currently the only use for string, you’ll only need one for a long time, so ivy farms would be over productive. Reducing it means more consuming string and less space occupied. But if that sounds terrible to you and to everyone else. Just add more uses for string, I have been playing for 3 days and I’ve produced a chest full of string and only crafted one bow.
maybe he is offended at all the negative comments, how about everyone instead of asking for a new feature, or complaining about something say one nice thing about Kaalus and Survivalcraft. Personally I love the survival mechanics, and I love the new weapons idea. Thanks for an awesome game Kaalus
I’m nervous about why kaalus hasn’t posted anything in about a month….he probably is working on something really hard but what if he got in an accident? He usually tells us that he will be working on something that may take a while

Must be multiplayer, kaalus works fast, but multiplayer will be huge and that would explain the lack of posts

kaalus if possible, would be awesome if you add one way to domesticate animals (like wolf, tiger and some others), and make them follow us as our pets, and you have to feed them to keep docile or them go away, this way nobody will feel alone…just a dream
