Here comes the beta test report.
First of all thanks to mattlekim for spotting a bug where you cannot break magnets (I think the bug was present even before 1.23). This is fixed and waiting for 1.23.1 release.
Another kudos goes to Sabrina for finding that placed gravestones drop a different kind of gravestone when broken. Well spotted! Fixed and waiting for 1.23.1 as above.
Apart from these, which were easy-peasy to fix, you found two more difficult ones.
#1 is weird: some trees are apparently made of dirt! I spent a lot of time flying around searching for a specimen, but could not find any. I am thinking hard what in the code could be causing that. Any information/screenshots you can give me about this bug will be helpful. I am especially interested what you’ve been doing just before you found the “dirted” tree. How long have you been in the world, whether you moved a lot or stayed in one place etc. And what is your device and Android version.
#2 is to do with all buttons occasionally ceasing to work (I think it was happening even before 1.23, so it’s an old bug actually). From your emails and comments I see this mostly happens on certain Samsung devices. I cannot reproduce it myself and have no clue what could be causing it. If you encounter it, any information and reproduction steps are very welcome. And of course, what is your device and Android version.

bug!!!you know when you break blocks well on creative when i break a block on challenging you would collect it up into your inventory well on creative that happens to. i have an android it is a momo 8 ips.

He didn’t even anounced it yet,because it’s still being tested. I still need to know if the game will not crash on me during updating. Plus,if you get signed out of amazon,then it won’t let you get on ANY app from amazon. If it happens to me,then my step-mom has the password,and I don’t. I will never be able to play this awesome game,until I’m old enough to have my credit card Since I’m 14. I’ll see if I can get one.
I saw a floating tree on 1.21. Dirt wood.Granite leaves.
Not sure if this is a bug but has anyone else been playing a while, get tired and try to sleep but it don’t press, I hit my back button, which woks but try to press “quit” and it don’t press either. I have to completely shut down the app for it to work. If I’m the only one, then it could be my phone locking up. I have the HTC one x+.
My kindle rarely does that,mostly when its having a hissy fit,or i played it about 5hrs straight. Of course,that happend only twice…..im such a nerd! :-)

about this buttons bug please watch my video from email wich i send to you some time ago :) its the third and 4th bug on this video. I cant reproduce this on 1.23 with 160 block range anymore. Didnt tried with lower range…
anyway… during this bug, sometimes when i press back button (in game button not system) and try quit, it didnt work, buttons stop working, but not all buttons. sorry cant explain this better :D

Hi Kaalus, I’m Phoebe. Here’s something that I need to tell you, when I updated 1.22 on Amazon when it came out, there were some glitches. When it was done updating, I realized that all of my animals were missing! I lost my horse, coyote, and the white bull. I couldn’t leave a comment on your website because I don’t have an account. I am a little bit afraid that it might happen again when 1.23 comes out on Amazon. I could of told you a long time ago, but I wanted to tell you now. :( Anyways, bye :) -Phoebe

kaalus i was the one reporting on the bug and I’ve come over it a second time, what i do is walk around my world for great distances looking for gravestones and every once in a while I see a tree where the bottom block is the tree log and then the rest of the tree is dirt. I use an android tablet version 4.0 icecream sandwich, if you can tell me how to upload a photo of it I have two of them, one an oak tree, the other a birch. thanks alot for mentioning it.

BUG ALERT! Big floating peices of land and trees that were supposed to be on mountains. I saw a floating tree with a few dirt blocks under it.
That was originally there. Maybe you notice them more with a higher view distence
I see more and bigger floating land. Like bigger than my house.
BIG BUGS ALERT. WHEN I PLACE A MEMORY BANK IN CREATIVE IT DISSAPEARS. I ALSO CAN’T PICK UP FLOWERS IN CREATIVE MODE. AS I ALSO MENTIONED A FEW FLOATING PEICES OF LAND I SEE NEXT TO MOUNTAINS. Good update though. I used caps to get your attention. :)

I found a iron machete in a grave.
I think I found a bug, I can’t change the type of block that spawns in with flat terrain. The menu shows up but I can’t press the buttons. I am using a nexus 7 with android 4.3

I’ve found a bug when you ride a donkey with no saddle trying to make it go cuts down on your hunger maybe this isn’t a bug but it sucks

I was thinking since this game has so much electrical stuff, maybe coming up with a digital compass. Where you could set it to point at different magnetics. Maybe just 3 magnetics, on green red and blue, then have the led on a compass that lights up. The magnetic you have already has red tips, you could make different recipes for each magnetic…. So instead of making some kinda map, ppl could use multiple magnetics.
Um, I had a problem, but I fixed it. Kind of. I’ll post pics in a bit.
Hey Kaalus, I have recomandation: “Halloween pack.” Maybe it could be a halloween special put in the next update? Anyways, what I was thinking was like decorations like skeletons, but not like from mc, no I just mean skeltons that lay in one spot, and maybe for a creeps effect, occationally move their hand, head, finger…something. Ghosts would be cool as well. Maybe some cobwebbs? Black widdows, or any type of small realistic spiders? Centipedes? Or maybe an even better trap then the trapdoor, like if you plan on somebody stepping on it WITHOUT seeing it? These would all be great, oh and by the way, I’m making a Haunted House map for SurvivalCraft, that’s one reason why you should at least take it into consideration? c:

Hey there, best sandbox game for the phone, love the KISS. I don’t know if it’s an bug, but trap doors only open and close when the input is 1. Just wondering if is not surpose to close on input 0. Sample: Switch has to be flipped twice for trap doors to open/close.
Hey kaalus! Regarding the buttons, can u please make the pad for looking around behave like the moving pad? So that you just tap,move your finger to the right and leave it there and the view will go right until u move or release your finger.
This would b awsome, cause then you really could play the game with a controller like the ps3 controller… Or u ciuld just add an option like the ones you have in pc games or with android in most thd games…
Cannot pick up items which drop off
I found a bug; I placed a gravestone on grass and everything was fine. But, when I placed the same gravestone on sand, it appeared brown. It is actually gray in colour. Please fix this bug as soon as possible.

Before we could place blocks over our head, but in 1.23 I cannot do it. Please revive this bug as soon as possible, because I found it easy to build huge stuff with that bug.
And also in creative mode we can pick up destroyed blocks like in survival. Please also remove this bug, so that we can only pick up blocks while playing in survival. Thank you.
Me destroying blocks in creative, and floating pickable blocks in respond……in creative mode?!?!?!?! VERY WEIRD!

The buttons were not working before the update either so this has been a problem for me too and I have a kindle fire. the problem is that maybe only one or two work and so I just shut down my device and then turn it back on and they work again
I have a kindle fire hd too and sometimes if im on a world it starts glitching and then it freezes. Then a message comes saying that silk is not responding so i have to shut down my kindle and turn it on again for it to work.but if i hit cancel my person keeps walking the way i had him going before it froze and he wont stop.

Hello, kaalus! I have to admit that I have been having problems with the controls too. Twice, so far, the North (forward),South (backward), and jump controls completely stopped responding. After about 15-20 seconds they returned to normal. I loved this update! The far view works great on my 2nd gen Google Nexus 7. I’m slowly starting to test and understand the electrics, but I think that I’ll stick to light bulbs and switches. :) The donkey is cool, but I can’t seem to feed him the rye (I tried both wild rye seeds and domestic rye seeds) and he just kinda looked at it and walked away. Is this in another update or is this a potential bug? I haven’t found any trees made out of dirt, but I have noticed that light blue (fresh) water randomly changes to dark blue (salt) water in the middle of a lake. I am not sure if this is a bug or if it is in the coding. Thanks for the update and please fix any bugs as soon as possible!

Kaalus, I think there is a bug because water can destroy stairs, trapdoors, ladders and doors,
which makes a huge mess in my houses.
Also, can you update armour please, because you have no protection against predators.
Update white leather from polar bears and black leather from black bears so you can have
white leather armour, black leather armour, brown leather armour, iron armour and diamond armour.

I think I have a bug. when ever I launch the game it takes like a minute to load onto the other loading screen. it’s really boring to wait because this game is so awsome.
