Mr. Hee Hawh

There’s one small improvement in 1.23 I made several days ago, but did not write about. Only mentioned briefly on Twitter.

Some animals are stubborn. Donkeys are the best example, but from 1.23 on all rideable animals will throw a fit from time to time. There is a certain breed of horse that does it more than others, and another breed that never does it. I will not reveal which ones they are, find out for yourself.

What to do when your steed says “No”?

Here’s a video:

And I think if the motion detector will react to the sand, it will be a great addition

Cool, but when it gets to stubborn I wont ride him anymore and he will just have to follow me :)

Nice looking forward to the next installment

Had this comment in the last post not sure if u seen it. I was Just wondering if it was part of the new electrical system in the next update. Will it be possible to use trap doors on glass blocks/(windows) like shutters with the new electronics? Always thought it would be cool if you could open and close them from inside or use them with the daylight detector so they all shut at night. Could this be possible in a future update if not in 1.23??

Cheers don’t mean to bug you.

And so are you, Kaalus, said that doing shaders, but in the video they do not, why?

Can you make donkeys have packs? Also, it would be cool to have minecarts (to get around faster), along with an easier way to use DropBox for SurvivalCraft( I don’t know how to work it), maybe NPCs that we can add and place (because I am tired of using texture packs with modified Christmas trees), along with NPC villages (they have to live somewhere), profiles for SurvivalCraft (we can have usernames, it’d have a picture of our skin, so we know who publishes what) and multiplayer with chat (so we don’t get lost in Community Content HINT HINT!).

Also, we need leads so we can tie our horses, camels and donkeys. You should also try packs that we can put on donkeys and camels, along with carts that we can hitch up to our horses and donkeys, along with the ability to make fancy carriages that horses can pull. You should also add the ability to make details to the reigns and saddles, along with name tags, so we don’t accidentally steal a horse!

I agree we need something to keep are rideable creatures to stay put when exploring…. It’s nice to cover long distances in a short period of time but when I find a cool cave to explore I have to stop and build something around my horse so I can find him when I’m done mining. It’s either that or bring another saddle and hope to find a new horse on my way back home, but ths takes up precious space in my inventory. I also like the idea for some kind of pack for the player or animals to increase inventory.

I concur. I am tired of digging a hole in the ground as a stable for my horses. Wolves easily get it. I hate having to slay 20 wolves at once.

ok. I gotta admit that until now I really haven’t gave a crap about the donkeys one way or another. But after this video I’m kinda looking forward to it. LoL You did a good job on them kaalus. It looks as ornery and comical as a real donkey. :-D LOL

I do still STRONGLY agree that donkeys should have storage and lead ropes to tie them to posts or what not.

I love my rideable animals. If I have to feed them once in a while to speed up my journey, THEN SO BE IT!

The too many animals rule is there to stop lag, the weird terrain generation is part of more turbulence, and spawning non cooked birds would be stupid and unrealistic. And please stop spamming things like 3rd and so on. It’s extremely childish.

Kaalus you should make chariots and a link button to connect the horses to the chariots or string boats together

Say chariot if you want to do it

Chariot! Sounds cool! It’d be easier to travel around! Maybe there could be a chest inside that we can put spears and stones in.

Just one problem with this idea though: in survival you can’t actually have wild rye in your inventory, just wild rye seeds.

Kaalus, WE NEED a tool for major quarrying projects. Anyone who is a serious builder in creative mode knows how soul destroying it is using the limited destruction that the TNT barrels offer right now. I’ve only just started playing again after 4 months because I couldn’t bare how slow it is to remove vast quantitys of terrain.

Plaese make a tool to help us builders, Bigger explosives or what ever u think is best. But please add it in next update. I want to keep playing but as things stand building on my scale is to work intensive.

Thx if you read this and address it ;D
