In the last few days I have been doing some preliminary work on 1.23.
My first priority is improvement of the Community Content. There are two problems with it.
First, there is no way for you to rate the content. It means that any interesting world (and there are many) gets quickly lost in a deluge of low quality 5-minute creations. This is horrible waste, and I apologize to all the people who have spent days or weeks making their adventures only to have them forgotten under a pile of fluff.
Second, the issue of inappropriate content. Some people find it amusing to submit worlds containing nasty things. We have lots of very young users, and so I spend inordinate amounts of time manually filtering the list (big thanks to everyone who sent me a report of inappropriate content – you’re of great help!). At the moment, I immediately delete such content and the user responsible gets banned from further publishing. But manual filtering is not quick enough and too time consuming.
To solve both of these issues I’m working on a user feedback system which hopefully will solve both problems.
The work is in early stages so I don’t want to reveal any details yet. You’ll hear more in the future.

kaalus please add dogs and sheepand collars so if you live on a farm you could use the whistle to get the dog to herd the sheep in to the pen same with horses and cows please im not begging or anything but i think its a good idea

I downloaded a world called horse track.I opened the world and all there was IS a pen with a saddled horse. A sign said to take the horse and ride round the world. It was a flat one! So boring.

I downloaded a world before and i beleive it was supposed to be a mansion or something and when i played it all there was,was a sign saying mansion and all there was ,was a plain flat land behind it with absolutly nothing on it. They’ll just get themselves banned. Its probably not automatic deletion, just reporting.

How about new weapons? Dual daggers (weaker but more attacks per tap) slingshot (for gravel or snow balls or could use iron pellets? Have rare animals drop items for great weapon mods (lion drops lion tooth for machete mod, rhino drops horn for to make unique items or tools. ARMOR!! Oh one more, how about right triangle blocks? Two make a square, but one allows for slopes and cool ways to build thngs. Maybe improve tool stats, pick axe and axe should NEVER do less damage than a machete, makes no sense at all.

I think the wolves will be tamed in the next update, if you throw meat they eat and you cant atk them with meat anymore.

I have seen a husky before i love huskies. I thought a wolf looked like one because on the top they are grey and on the bottom they are white in the game. They may not have a curly tail and blue eyes or they may not be “fluffy enough” but to me the wolves look the most like huskies even though they don’t look look exactly like one!
I have seen sled huskies before! They are small and skinny. They are cute! The regular eye colour is blue but malamutes and samoyeds eyes are brown. I LIKE SHIBA INU!
Maybe if u tame wolves they could be huskies and a dog sled and the coyote can be a yellow lab

Can u make a tool that allows you 2 delete multipule worlds at a time?? I have well over 50 worlds,and it just takes 2 long 2 delete some. It took me 5 minutes 2 delete 4 worlds! Also,it says i can only have 20 worlds,somtimes i can bypass that,but guess what? More worlds!!!!
Seriously we need that. It took me forever to delete the testing site worlds for my future player world. And I use testing sites cuz when ur doing something with water…yeah…pretty much wastes ur time replacing the grass in static mode.

kaalus ive found a bug on an android tablet if you go just below the water not much the water texture lines appear on the screen this doesnt happen if you go deep under water or just floating on the top only if your a little bit under this bug is nothing major but i hope you can fix it as sometimes it can be annoying when fishing drowing etc. also ocassionly you can walk through doors.
p.s youre doing a great job on the game and i prefer it more than mcpe by far also could you add a search bar on community content sorry if spelt anything wrong.
Adds animals besides wolves to attack the night, something that can bring down the house, because after a while the wolves are almost ‘harmless’, adds various types of clothing, also adds multiplayer mode adds beds, fruit, banana, apple, coconut, watermelon, mango … table and etc … besides wolves adds ienas, ounce, panther … adds the seasons, spring, summer, autumn and winter, add bonfire to keep warm in winter. Adds also bow and arrow to hunt, adds various clothing … adds plantation type that grow only in some seasons … and so, some tips, would aproveitavel

Hey.
It may be quite a challenge, but maybe for 1.3 added something like mine carts and tracks, or another means of transport besides horses. I often walk between different places like my house, mine, a desert and some water, and it would be really cool if I could set up a quicker way of getting between my favorite spots.
Also, adding new outputs for electricity would be great! So far it’s only really lights and doors, the logic gates and great and you can make some really awesome setups, but you can’t really do anything with it… Maybe add different coloured lights or a laser beam that sends a signal when something moves through it.
I love the extra things that other sandboxes don’t have, like spikes and leaf traps, good idea! New rakes and rye is awesome. However there is a tiny bug where you cannot open/close doors with a rake, only tool that you can’t.

A giant hollow wolf sphynx-type thing with dragon wings. The eyes must be different colours, one red, the other yellow. The fur should be dark blue on top and white on the bottom. Hey ppl. I got an idea but I’m not I shuld add it to my multiplayer world.
For people that want boats instead of horses (or both,) shuld I add like a thin river that goes along with the roads? I need to know now while the roads are still short.
On my town every house has one stable for one horse which will act as a car and in town the places have parking lots made for horses. I just built a small fenced in spot for each parking spot in the parking lot. I have roads for them, and if you make boat cars don’t make a thin river cause then the boats will keep getting stuck on the side. I know that from my own experiences :/……….i wish i knew how to uplaod worlds so i can eventually upload my town when it is done. If you need a dropbox account i already have one but every time i try to upload a world it says i’m logged out when i know i’m logged in.

Monkeys might be a hard animation because of the way they move. They are not not like the other animals in the game which stand on four legs and walk a simple way. Monkeys would be a great feature,but probably a hard one to add. :)

Hey guys, i am working on a super cool world, its called “IMPOSSIBLE SCAPE” its a world were you are in a prison and you try to scape. Its pretty long :/, but really cool.
The problem is when i try to put sand above some iron trapdoors but when i touch the trapdoor sand stays there, that hapens in every flat world i have, could someone tell me how to fix that please?
Is your world on static because if it is then sand and gravel will not collapse. You have to take it off of static but if you have any ice it will probably melt….

Apprentices are trained by warriors. Once they’ve learned how to fight (or learned all the herbs if u a medicine cat apprentice) and hunt they become full warriors, earning their warrior names. Until then they ate paws (ex: whitepaw, firepaw, leafpaw, bluepaw, sunpaw)

Hey Kaalus, I just got a few ideas that I hope you’ll like!! :-)
Idea #1:
There should be lionesses! There would be prides of about 5 or 6 lions/lionesses that would travel and hunt (for the player) Like how bulls protect the cows, the lions would protect the lionesses!
Idea #2:
There should be baby animals! They would spawn randomly next to their mother or father or any adult one and follow it until it grows up and just walks away.
Idea #3:
There should be dogs! If you give a wolf like 3 or 4 pieces of raw meat, it should be tamed and follow you!

I have a few ideas about adding new animals. Just the two, an alligator and a snake. Also adding a new biome “Swamp” where you find these two.
Another thing, the reasons why you’d want to go into the swamp; when you kill the alligator they drop a tooth, you can craft stuff with it. Maybe a fishing pole or a syringe. I say a syringe because of part two: poison. When you get bitten by a snake there’s a 20-25% chance you’ll get poisoned. The way to cure the poison is to 1.) either have the antidote, or 2.) have antibiotics.
How to cure the poison:
1.) Crafting a syringe with antidote.
You need poison from snake, saltpeter and water. You smelt the saltpeter and water first. Then smelt the poison and saltpeter + water combination. It gives you enough for two syringes.
2.) Antibiotics. Perhaps add a new ore like penicillin or some other thing. Very rare. Only found in desert biomes. But when you break it with a pick axe it gives you 3 capsules or pieces. You simply smelt the pieces in water and you combine it with a syringe.
Finally, maybe when you implement clothing, when it rains or if in a snow biome your player can get sick if not wearing proper attire. (This also makes antibiotics a necessity.)

HOW THE HECK DO I POST SOMETHING TO COMMUNITY CONTENT?!?!
Well, here is your answer:
(NOTICE: may not work on ALL devices. Also, please note that I MAY be wrong but I doubt it.)
1. Download the Dropbox app, and log in!
2. Go to Survivalcraft, pick your world that you want to be uploaded.
3. Go tap onto “Modify World”
4. Change world to Adventure Mode, and tap Apply Changes.
5. Exit the World.
6. Now go back to that world’s “Modify World” menu, and select “Upload”.
7. If you press on it, and look at the Dropbox Option, It may say, “Not logged in”.
8. Now go to the main menu, and press onto, “Get Content”.
9. Go to “Private”.
10. Press on “Log in” button.
11. You should be forwarded to the Dropbox App. (You should be asked to add a new “Survivalcraft folder)
12. Go back to Survivalcraft, and you should be logged into Dropbox.
13. Now go back to the desired world, go to “Modify” and press “Upload”
14. Now go to your Dropbox, open the folder titled, “Survivalcraft”, and inside there should be a file named what your world was named.
15. Go back to Survivalcraft go to “Get Content” and then “Private”.
16. Tap the name that matches your world’s name, and then press “Copy Link”.
17. Exit out of the private menu, and go to the button titled, “Community Content”.
18. Go down into the left-hand bottom corner and press, “Publish”.
19. Paste the link in the first box.
20. Type a name for it in the second box. (It will appear as the original name for your world. You can change it if you want to.)
21. Make sure you make the uploaded world a world by seeing the “Content Type:” section.

Yea I think thats a great idea, We need to filter this these maps and try to really ween out the good from the bad. Some maps say there mansions or some big glorious thing and you enter to a flat map or a map with few objects and a big giant hole…..sadly on that map I died just walking few steps forward so i deleted it. I don’t download maps anymore I got my map and its well done. I do get textures but its touch and go ive stuck to the one ive had (HD wow 1.22.4) its the best in my opinion. I must say this game is getting better with every update works great on my ipad mini no issues at all keep up the amazing work!
That’s true, Jadenfire. There should also be a description of what the world is like before we downloaded it. And it should maybe be divided into categories, like; adventure, Giant buildings, Puzzels, etc. Anyway this are just some ideas, SC is a great game, good job Kaalus :)
There should definitely be a spam category lol. for maps that claim they r the most amazing thing then you download it and play it and it’s just a sign that says something stupid and just flat land with nothing on it . this game needs a little supernatural twist as I believe animals survive is not enough or better adds high risk animals such as anacondas snakes, gorillas, monkeys, squirrels, witches would be a nice touch to some of the villagers and add new biomes as jungles or forests of giant trees uo temples or abandoned areas such as mines or some boss
maps and possibly a portal to hell and that would give a sense of reality of living and death

I’ve often thought that an icebox would be an excellent addition. I love that now you have to eat and you have to sleep, it adds an element of urgency. However, when you’re food lasts forever (e.g. never spoils), it becomes less important to forage regularly. A storage box with a slot for an ice cube (much like the furnace, where the ice block has to be replaced as it is consumed) could act as a refrigerator, allowing things like uncooked meat and eggs, and milk, to go bad over time. This would force the player to interact with the world more often, extending the challenge of surviving beyond the first few days.

I agree with you all…but I think a good couple things to add would be more seeds like maybe a Mellon seed are an apple tree seed and anything els. Body armor would be nice like iron armor or even simple clothing like leather pants and shirt. I think being able to breed animals would be cool….just think of it…. You could have an endless supply of meet and other stuff. Just one thing… If you can have werewolves why can’t we have other monsters.. Like maybe zombies witches…but please not that Minecraft stuff like creepers just add real mythical creatures…oh and maybe dragons. Multiplayer would be a great thing to add….. I just finished building a huge house out of wood when I finished there was a thunder storm it burnt my house down I tried to stop it but it set everything on fire eventhe horses fence.

In 1.23 should have mine carts and mine traks like in minecraft and maybe some kind of auto mobile and some ramps and different breeds of dogs including a white German shepherd and maybe collar that you can put on the dog and it will follow you around and maybe some dog bowls and dog food

Ok so I think you should add dogs and cats and we should be able to choose what breed we want! And add collars and leashes… Also please add ferrets too! No more creatures but can u make it so we can ride ostriches rhinos cows and giraffes! Maybe u could add elephants ( ride able) tigers, pandas, raccoons, llamas, peacocks, pony’s, sheep and deer! Please let me know if u will or not! Thanks!

I mean kaalus u rock hardcore man… XP add baby animals and so the female and male animals can have little pups or cubs it would be so cute and they would protect them kids. when I put a lot of animals in a pen some die from lack of space. I don’t know if this is a problem or not, but it is very annoying. and I like the Idea of pets and them herding animals. multiplayer would be AWESOME because it gets sorta lonely on the game. also, can we have a boy and girl version of every animal on the game like the cows? it would be nice for them to be able to breed and have babies too. bigger bombs/kegs would be cool. armor would help out in the game. this is just me, but I would love to have no limit of animals on the game. and finally more sea animals such as seals, alligators, swans, and frogs. more land animals. maybe chickens dogs, sheep, and more monsters. beds huge chests, tvs, and chairs + tables and house plants would make the game look nicer. jungles, trees that produce fruits, and more crop foods.
being able to style your character like on minecraft would be AWESOMENESS and being able to choose weather your a boy/girl and be able to meet some one and have kids (like with a villager or another player).

Add breathing tanks that can be craft using iron in oder to refill it with oxegen put any flower or sapling next to the tank, a fully filled tank last for 7 minutes (real life minutes).
