I have just finished publishing 1.22 to all platforms.
Here’s the version numbers:
- Windows Phone 1.22.5
- Google Play: 1.22.3
- Amazon Kindle: 1.22.6
- Apple iOS: 1.22.4
As a final change, I wanted to increase the number of rye seeds dropped from fully grown rye, but I screwed up. By accident I published Windows Phone version without the increase, and so had to reverse the change on all other platforms to keep the behavior identical everywhere.
Anyway, as it is now, you only need about 20 blocks of rye field to keep yourself alive on bread alone. I don’t think that’s too excessive.
The app is now in certification at Amazon, Microsoft and Apple, and things are out of my hands. From my experience we are going to see some results in about a week.
I am curious which platform will be certified (or failed) first. Let’s have another race! If you remember my old posts, the score so far is Microsoft 2 Amazon 1. Apple did not have a chance to take part yet, this is the first submission made at the same time as the other platforms. Good Luck to all contestants :-)

Kaalus, can you add another bad animal that tries to attack you at night. Maybe a vampire? I mean not a vampire like in human form. I would want a black furry red eyed dangerous flying fast winged, only attacks at night, vampire. So it would be a dangerous beast. The AI of the vampire changes when it’s night and its main objective is to attack you

Great job on the update! I love farming on mcpe, but I have always thought that survival craft was ahead of the game when it comes to the overall game. The two things I have really wanted in survivalcraft are farming and multiplayer. I know multiplayer is a long way off, but I am super excited about farming! Thanks!

When i am on the menu or game the buttons don’t work i press them they look like they are pressed but they are not working. iPad 4.
That happened to me once on my note 2. I haven’t had it happen again though.

This has happened to me, stop the game and open it again. It works for my kindle fire. But I haven’t had to deal with that bug for a while.

Kaalus, I don’t know if this is a bug or something, but lots of birds where I have my house in sc pick at sand (I live close to a desert) would it be possible to make it so birds only peck grass example writing an if & else statement saying where all bird types can peck.

hi kaalus………..not to be pushy but i was wondering for the next update (1.23) can u possibly add the following: Multiplayer, bow and arrow, planes or helicopters, old style guns such as black powder pistols and rifles, precision explosives, coral reefs, cats and dogs that are tameable (not meant to copy off of Minecraft pc), roof blocks- blocks that are slanted (the block game Discovery has these), maybe cars using the same concept u used for the boat except make it box like and put wheels on it, higher ability to build, higher or bigger mountains, scuba gear to dive deep into the ocean and be able to breath under water………maybe if u took that air block bug u squished and used that in the process of crafting the scuba gear…u would need the air block to fill up the air tank otherwise u would drown, wire-through-blocks that have wire on BOTH the sides and top and bottom so that instead of having to leave a space to put wire u could just place the block…this would make it possible for faster building, skins for player, motor to attach to boat to make it faster….p.s. thank you very much for making the boat faster in the current update :)…………………..maybe some more weather such as disasters and wind….volcano, tsunami, earthquake, etc…..if the motor idea is not possible maybe sails would so if u add wind the player could add sails to the boat and the wind would “carry” the boat and u could add oars so if there isnt any wind blowing at the time u still would have a way of moving faster…………i have a lot more ideas but i think i have mentioned quite a bit that i know other people want to………..does anyone else agree with me on these ideas? if so please reply to this comment on ur ideas……thank you.

They are OK ideas but some of them have nothing to do with survival… BTW the idea of miltiplayer is the best idea i could imagine since i feel soo scared and lonely at nights… maybe the story could change by the boat leaving you and your friend on the island xD. And planes idea would be cool too Btw only in survival mode because its very difficult for me to find a grassy nice place to find my home, so getting a higher view could really help. The plane could also be used for faster land ransportation and could be made out of plane :P

Hello Kaalus, I found bug. Every, when my player is damaged in challenging mode, foods can’t refresh him… Every write : You are full, no more food. But I am still damaged! Nexus 7 4.2.2. :)
do you mean food doesn’t restore health? because food doesn’t do that anymore in 1.22, health regenerates slowly by itself if you aren’t hungry.

Kaalus is very smart and has done very well at not copying anything from minecraft. Minecraft dose not own the ” crafting table “, they hold the right to stuff like enchanting and the end and the nether but not stuff like spawn eggs or pumpkins.

Update came out 2hours ago on apple. I must say the game is absolutely incredible. 10/10. Loving the update and the game in general. You released so much content in 3months kaalus. Idk if its only for photorealism texture pack but allot of the new if not all are all black blocks and so is tall grass. Idk if it is photorealistic or is a glitch but would be great if fixed since that is my favorite texture
This is because you have a texture pack. If you have an older texture pack the person who created it didn’t create a texture for the new things in 1.22 ,so it would probably be a block because it has no texture.

I was just wondering why there is no fish or orca in the water and why no orca spawner. I was so excited to play around and see all this new stuff and was actually slightly confused as to why I could not find an orca. Of course I’ve read and there is no spawner for a reason but why can’t I find them naturally???

I found a bug it’s called invisible fire. Well not exactly but it’ll have it where there seems to be fire burning something but there is nothing there to burn. Like it’ll show up the flame burning animation when it does the destroy animation and sound. It’s like a lightning hit the tree and it continuously burned even though there wasn’t anything there.

Im making a zoo i alredy made thr orca tank and made her get in it it was hard to catch but not impossible
Kaalus, I have a slight problem with iOS. I have looked all over the grassland that I live in, and further, but I can’t find a trace of any rye! Is this because I have already been to this place, and the update only works with places that haven’t been tampered with, or is it just a random bug? Please fix it, I have already made a farm and everything, I just need rye!

Kaalus, I know this is a realistic game but i think that you should add vampires and other creatures in features after all of the important things. I just thought that it would complete the werewolves and all.

Just to make it clear, for those who say to not or he won’t copy minecraft but if you read Survivalcraft description it says it brings pc minecraft features to mobile not the exact copy! So in 1.23 we need to be able to hook up to horses and animals and tie them off on any type of building material and drag them with us. I’m sure kaalus has maybe already thought abour this :)

Yeah I think that’s stupid because when kaalus tried and tried again to get Apple to accept survival craft they kept on rejecting it.so know they are first to except the update.I think that’s really dumb. [:-/

Please stop making items spread out everywhere. Theres no logical reason for it to happen anyway. Its like the player is being punished for dying. I die a lot more than I use to with this new update (which I’m ok with) but items flying all over the place is a cruel joke IMO. That and please keep horses from wandering away or at least let us “park” them. The new animals are cool, but they dont yield anything unique. Maybe they should? I can wait on MP, but we need new weapons, or a respect of current ones (axe or pick axe does less than a spear on mobs…seriously?)farmng is off to a good start, but I can’t wait till rye seed count is improved.

Kaalus I the next update you could advance the electrics like added more logic gates that can do more things(like a teleporter logic gate could be called transfer gates, doesn’t just transfer the player) and something like pistons but use magnets to connect and disconnect would be an alternative to sticky pistons

I play SurvivalCraft on my kindle fire and have gotten the update….. but I don’t see any orcas or the eggs in Creative. I traveled far out into the ocean to even look for one but was unsuccessful.

Kaalus these tings i beleave would make survival crft even more entertaining. W should also get human spawners or ships that bring humans to us as are helpers like soldiers for battles and guarding duty, pickers for crops, and hunters for hunting. We should also be allowed to use are micro phones on or devices. We should also get wagons for transport wagons with mobile cannons for like tanks, cannons to security and muskets all from the late 19th century. Also girlfriends for r characters. Online multiplayer. And unlimited spawning for humans so if we want an army like for example 1,000,000 man army for combat. Same for the pickers an hunters and stuff. We should be in charge at all times we as the customers should never be challenged for power. We should also get girlfriends or wives so are character as a soul mate. That’s basically it really thank you for doing all this I think it will help make the game even funner really I personally believe it will take time and I under stand that and thank you for taking the time to do this list of ideas ” if you do them” I personally appreciate it
