I have just uploaded the second bugfix update in 1.22 series. Hopefully this will be the last one.
Here’s the list of changes in 1.22.2:
- Boats are slightly faster
- Pressure plates mounted on sides and ceilings work correctly
- A setting to disable community content
- No longer able to smelt air in the furnace
Please update and test test test :-)
If there are no more serious bugs discovered, I will publish this version to all platforms.

When u open a link while on survivalcraft and come back, most of the text is blacked out on survivalcraft.

Kaalus said that he wanted us to test it so we’re testing. I’ve found an annoying bug (it’s not really a bug but don’t know what you’d call it) where you are able to place blocks where the player is standing. I killed myself once when I stacked up and ran out of room. My items were easy to recover but still.

Actually, try to fix ALL bugs for the other devices before publishing the game… Got really fed up on the last update (windows phone) where everytime you jumped, cows ran away… Might seem like a minor bug, but once you know its there, you cant stop noticing it :|

ok to find saltpeter you have to dig in sand till you reach sandstone then you just dig the sandstone until you find it. it looks like sanstone but with a white vien through

they do. Pumpkins, rye, tall grass, wild rye, and raw meat. You just have to find out which animal eats which food. I would tell you but you should find out for yourself.

I have lots of feature requests for v1.23: deer ,tigers ,cardinals ,crows ,blue jay, mice. I still got more: it could sprinkle
Or thunderstorm or just rain for some periods of time. : hail , sleet , seasons, snow could be in other spots than their biomes! Waves, a microchip ( size of one mini block) that makes everything work that you build ,more trees such as: weeping willow , maple and even more. Trees actually fall when you cut the bottom down! And that’s it.
Oh yeah I forgot a couple things: cats, dogs, rain forests, palm trees, and bone machetes and knifes. Oh yeah mobs!
Microchip should work on things like: airplanes ships and more. I got a couple more suggestions: monkey ,gorilla parakeet, clownfish, computers, concrete, be able to kick, bananas, apples, pears, peaches. I think that’s enough ideas for 1.23.

I think he tweeked the wolf spawning to make things more challenging and he knew that if wolves dropped leather, we wouldn’t need to fight bears, further adding to the challenge that is survivalcraft. I think it’s fine.
add ants! they spawn in ant hills, march around in lines, and pick up fallen objects on the ground such as eggs. That would be really cool!

Put a rake in your hand and try to open a crate. Then tell me there’s no more bugs.

Rakes affect the status of a block, like paint buckets do. You can’t open a chest with a paint bucket either. It’s just something we have to deal with. Now, you can till chests and furnaces all day long, if you want to :-)
It’s not a bug. By carrying a rake, the game thinks that whatever block you are going to touch next you are trying to rake it. You can’t rake a crate.
I know Kaalus said that the orca spawn egg was not there because they were rare but, what if you want to build a tank or an aquarium and you want to spawn in orcas? That’s what I wanted to do and I know a lot of other peeps want to do something along the lines of that as well. :(

Google is wrong. It’s right about the sea, but they are loners. They only found alone. Mabry near each other but not following. The are mostly found in the cold. They are not in every map to.

Nissa, white bulls are rare, you cant find them in every world but, look in snowy areas where there aren’t a lot of animals because they are outcast. NOTICE they are kind of hard to spot because they are white so you have to stay close to the ground. Hope this helped

People sit here and demand you release it for their platform, but they don’t realize how important it is that all the bugs are worked out first. So stop complaining and chill out.
I’m assuming that there isn’t an orca spawn egg, because they are so big, and knowing people, they’d spawn as many as they can which would end up creating a huge lag. I do have to admit, I’m dissapointed that there isn’t a spawner for them too. Would it be possible to add a limit to how many orcas can be spawned in one area, similar to the rest of the animals, but a much smaller number. Like four or five? Then you could have an orca spawner, and possibly make some people happy.
Also, wolves and coyotes used to give leather, now they give nothing. Not sure if that was intentional or not, but now there isn’t a purpose to specificly hunt them.
After you pick rye, is it supposed to respawn in that area? It currently doesn’t so if I want wild rye seeds, I have to travel way out, almost 6 full days away, to get some.

Kaalus didn’t add the Orca because they were glitchy. Quit bugging the poor guy about it. He is working on the Orcas so they aren’t causing horrible lag since they are probably around 7 blocks long and 3 blocks wide. Be grateful he is trying to make them least glitchy as possible.

The only reason it hasn’t been released yet is because Kaalus needs to fix the bugs and releasing updates (bug fixes) happens much quicker with Google Play than Amazon or Apple. Patience.

1. Camels can still jump fences that are one fence high (horses can’t anymore)
2. Cannot open doors or use crafting table, etc with a rake or bucket in your hand. Really frustrating when you have a bucket full of water and empty it in you house by accident.
The only 2 bugs I’ve noticed in 1.22.2
1. Horses can somehow jump over fences still. I am building a zoo and my Zebras, Gnus(es?), Rhinos, and Horses keep escaping and I have to heard them within the fences and had to double up the fences to prevent it being so. Same with the gates.
2. Lions ignore the player after watching for 10 seconds or so.
3. Water is rather dark.
4. Rake and Bucket glitch as said above.
In my test world the only animals that are jumping fences are camels as of 1.22.2 I tried to provoke rhinos, lions, horses, etc but they couldn’t leap over the fence. Maybe I just got lucky, I dunno.
Put the update on kindle this week so people get board of waiting and stop playing it.

I can’t seem to break the hygrometer nor the thermometer. I’m in a regular Harmless world and I tried it with an Iron Pickaxe. Also, it may just be my phone, the Droid RAZR Maxx, or the game, but I seem to experience extreme lag.
You people need to chillax and WAIT. He knows about the orca egg, the bugs and everything else. He said Google play users are beta testers, so if you haven’t gotten ur dang update, WAIT. If you had gotten it, you would be dealing with bugs and Kaalus would have to keep switching from store to store to fix it. WAIT. He’s just one guy trying to make people happy, unlike Minecraft, which has four people running it. Pretty sure you would like it if people kept asking you over and over for the same thing.

I never used the comunnity contente there have just crap textures and boring maps… What is funny in see other people maps, the funniest thing is try to build a nice map in cruel or challeging, you spend a long time searching for resources, and you have to return before the night or you have to run as fast as you can to be safe at your home :-)
But it’s nice to burn, explode and trow lava on peoples map.

Kaalus I know you get this a lot but please add at least multiplayer survival and an ending like maybe your player can craft a map and if you combine it with a compass you get like a paper that says “memories” and then when you throw it in the air it moves in the direction of civilization and you have to travel a really, really, really long time until you reach a pre generated city and then you won the game. Also you should add specifically hostile mobs that seek you out and attack you if you are within one hundred blocks of it. Maybe a tiger? That would be cool. Make it as strong or stronger than a lion and also add armor.

BUG ALERT! If I try to put a sign on a tower of blocks that are about 30 blocks high the sign will disappear but the letters will still appear. Not to important but I wanted to let you know. Ill try to get a picture on here to show you.
It’s not a bug. It just means that you’ve reached the peak. Everything is invisible about 30-40 blocks high.

It would be cool (v1.23) if there were a jungle biomes, and in the jungles the water was murky so you couldn’t see in it or what’s in it(crocodiles) also jaguars should be in the trees. Andocondas that try to bite and kill. That’s all that I can think of right now

They rarely drop leather like bears and boars. They don’t drop meat like almost every animal but they .at drop leather

I agree. My Windows Phone 7 still doesn’t have the update showing YET, like all other Windows Phone 7 users. My dad taught me something a long time ago. He told me that when he was told to do a project with a few of his other friends at work, that most people try to find all the bad things, or mistakes, but that they had to write down all the GOOD things, or positive things about different websites. The project might sound too easy, but trust me, it is very difficult to accomplish. So don’t be trying to PURPOSELY find a bug, try to find the good and positive things. But if there is a MAJOR bug, and you accidentally come across it, then it is probably okay to post it. Thank you all, and have a pleasant time.
No offense but there is a purpose to actively looking for bugs. We are not paid QA so finding them is not our priority but we should try to do as many things as we can in an effort to find any bugs that exist. Not finding bugs is not helpful to the community as a whole.

I have a bug with the wolfs and the pathfind. I think it’s not working well, i opened the door and many wolfs was outside, but they just look at me and go away! I tryied again, this time there was 3 wolfs trying to catch me, but no pass through the door! This happens with bears and piranhas too, the bears just come after me when i hit them, the piranhas just try to eat me the first time i enter the lake, if i leave and enter again i can swin with them!

Plz make this minor update, Kaalus. Farming as it is now, well, it isn’t just right.
You should be able to ncrease the amount of seeds just like in real farming.
But ok if soil needs to be optimal for it to yield more seed. (Irrigation, temp, Fertilisation np).
Oh and maybe Ostrich lay to much eggs. I live only on it. and there are 5 to 8 Ostrich near my house and 8 have chest full of egggs. Talk about cholestrol.
And cooking eggs not right, better bucket stay top and one coal an egg, that,s expensive.

i live in a snow biome and my crop field is half in snow and half in a sort of dry green area. I just fertilize my soil with saltpeter chunk and i get maximum three rye seeds.

For those with rye watering problems step by step
1. Dig your field 2 blocks deep
2. Fill with water
3. Cover water with layer of grass
4. Grow (the water under the field will water your plants.)
note i dont have the update because i to wait for the app store. So this is just a theory.

I don’t know if this is a bug, But I can’t run wires on the back side of stair pieces most of the time. Some times it might work, but when I put current through it, it breaks. Usually it breaks when I place it. It is a flat surface so I figure I could run a wire on it. I’m using 1.21 on iOS.
It was bothering me when I wanted to run a wire from the ceiling and down the wall, but one of the walls was the backside of a stair piece.
I love this game, can’t wait for iOS update, but willing to wait another month if it means the android testers get all the bugs out. :). Many thanks to you guys also!

Hey Kaalus I have an ios device and I was not too worried about not getting the update yet until I realized that the majority of the community worlds now require the latest version of which is not available for us yet, it keeps saying something like cannot make transaction between the version I have and 1.22:( it’s getting real annoying since I often download maps from community so can you at least give us ios users something to do while we wait as the game is becoming outdated:( also you are the worlds best coder out there, I program minecraft like games on a calculator and I know how hard it is, and you code so quickly and efficiently so way to go and keep up the work;) I mean literally you are the single coder of sc and minecraft pe has multiple coders, and way more supporters and yet you add more in one update then minecraft pe does in five! Kaalus, in creative mode you should add portals that can teleport you to other locations in the game, like you build a cool map, but the update comes out and makes your world obsolete because of long distances, you should be able to teleport to the next location. Please consider it. Thanks

Please add Crocodile kaalus… it would be great to found them in tropical lakes.
What he should do is add a jungle biome that is at least one block deep water, and there are reeds that conceal the croc, also have banana trees and monkeys, parrots, and tigers. Also there could be snakes who glide in the water, and go slow on land, but they spring and attack you. And I keep saying this, but there should be a volcanic biome, made of basalt, with lava coming out of the top sometimes, or pouring out the sides, and there would be fossil blocks that you can get bones from and tame animals with. Surrounding it would be white sand that you find on beaches, and palm trees grow and drop coconuts. Sometimes on the beaches you would find a pirate shack, and they have cannons, two blocks long, one block high, and one block wide. The pirates have wood or stone swords, and a chest with iron or diamonds. Also in the deep deep sea, there should be manta rays, they don’t hurt you but they give you a lot of fish.

I dont know if this is a bug or not but every time I start a new world the sea has almost no fish its mostly sharks! And I do have the 1.22.2 update
To find fish, you need to go the lakes. But the ocean has fishes but it’s hard to find.
Hope there’s no more bugs in 1.22.2!

Please add these things in 1.23 :
1. add fishing rod.. the character can fishing in the boat.
2. make the character’s left hand can carry torch.
Sometimes i wanted to do something in the night but i cant because its too dark. So i think adding torch in character left hand will be very good.

Why does everyone keep on saying ” when is it coming out on kindle?” or “when is it coming out on iOS?”. Let me make it clear: READ THE POSTS! I have an iPod, but I’m not complaining about it or asking when it comes out. Im just waiting patiently and just doing other things to get my mind of the update. I recommend you do the same, so you can stop posting these recurring comments. Some people are even asking Kaalus to release the update on specific dates, such as their birthday. Here’s the thing: KAALUS can’t just ask apple or any other platform to release it on a certain day! Seriously, give the guy a break. He’s worked hard on this update and you should appreciate what he’s done instead of telling him when to release the update! I agree that you beta testers on google play should take your time finding bugs. Don’t listen to those impatient people telling you to not tell about any bugs so they can get the update faster. I completely support you guys! So, if you agree with what I said reply with a YES and if you don’t, say NO. P.S. do any of you recommend some worlds for me to download to keep myself busy before the update comes out?

Hey kaalus I know your super busy and working on updating but there’s a really annoying bug in 1.21 it’s that I keep my horses In a fairly big fenced out area, and whenever I wanna ride them I get on them, i jump out of the fenced area, and when I’m done I jump back in the fenced area and dismount. Well recently when I dismount while in the fenced area I hear a shrill NEEEIGH and my horse disappears. I assume it died because a few seconds later the saddle pops up. This has happened with the last five horses, and there’s none left around my home. I’m sure you have much more important things, but I don’t know if its a bug or I’m somehow killing the horse. Wouldn’t it take longer to die if I accidentally hurt it though? If its a bug, when you get the chance please check it out. Thanks!
