In the last post I told you about lots of details I have to change to make the boats work properly.

Kaalus, so in creative, csn you add diffrent pages for the inventory items? So like, instead of scrolling looking lookingthe item you need,you can flip to diffrent pages? Like a tools page, resorces page, stuff like that. Or mabye just two, colored blocks and everything else 0__o

kaalus if you are reading this the demo will be too short to show all these features at work: hunger, sleeplessness,and farming. You could make adds everytime they sleep(this works because you now need to sleep), or you could make it so that you play one world five days and can’t download worlds, or if you don’t like adds or the other idea make it so that you can play on a world once a day

Awesome job Kaalus, I love the game!! I would suggest tweaking the horse riding auto-jump (horse gets stuck trying to jump 1 block high all the time) and/or adding armor. I have several mines etc I travel to and it’s becoming increasingly frustrating losing my diamond machete, compass, resources etc. because my horse gets stuck and I become meal-on-wheels for surrounding werewolves. Thanks!

Kaalus, I love the way you are continuously improving the game mechanics when you add new items. Not just adding boats but taking a new look at how all items interact with water and adding real world physics to solve that problem. You are taking your time to do things the right way while still being incredibly productive. Respect.

You know it’d be even more realistic if there were air currents too, and they would blow storms and leaves would fall, or when you throw something or even when you fall too the air can slightly move you

What if bee hive blocks spawned on trees and blocks you place? You could either destroy them with your lethal Machete of Truth which would also do damage to you (wouldnt even have to make actual bees just a buzzing sound) or set a fire on a block below it to destroy it (smokes out the bees) the block could also make an edible honey resource when destroyed.
Just a thought from a fan since 1.1 :)

Dat happened to me too. I only have one pet piranha now! :-( I have one in an aquarium fish tank built for sharks but they (the sharks) all swam through the wall and fish-drowned so I put 5 piranhas in and there is one left. I put one in a goldfish bowl I built and it lives. Looks like a bowl is your best bet till that bugs fixed.

Hello sir, excuse me if i interrupt something, but… You do not expect that kaalus would add a dragon in a realistic game made out of a realistic mind, do you? I also like dragons but here are some facts my friend,
1: if dragons were real, they wouldn’t have wings, is just impossible that a heavy like hell living thing would fly with such tiny wings, and the location of the wings is just sooo bad… Do you ever have seen in your life a bird with wings in his back? And if they haved damn big wings they just couldn’t fly of the heaviness.
2: a fire breathing beast?! It would roast it tonsils, and how would he produce fire? Seriously.
3: if they were big,flying fire breathing things, wouldn’t you think that they would still alive? I mean, they would have eated all of us! If they where real of course. If you want an dragon so much, how about a komodo ? They are not even dragons of course (credit to whitestripe in that part ;).
Of how they fly is cause of extra lungs carring helium in them then the fire breathing is cause of a venom resivoir in them then when the comes out a spark pouch ignites the highly flammable venom then creates fire like so but the other types are done other ways so can or could of existed. Like so.

FYI: This is gonna be a LONG comment. Anyway, I am a full survival craft fan; it’s my ABSOULUTE FAVORITE GAME! But let me get to the point. I have six suggestions, all of which, more or less, are associated with mapmaking. I am a mapmaker, and I hope to become a good one. Here are my suggestions:
1. Clothes/Armor
I can assume that you will probably add leather clothes sooner or later. But armor? Not realistic enough. Leather clothes should be somewhat durable, but they should not offer the best defense. I think that you should have to put thin plates of wood, iron, and diamond edged iron over it to make a much more durable and defensive form of protection. Of course, this is still all up to you.
2. Maps
A fairly self-explanatory suggestion. You should make it somewhat like the minecraft map, but not quite. If you have a compass anywhere in your inventory, it should appear on the bottom left corner of the map, and still point to your spawnpoint/magnet. As a very optional small feature, you COULD make it so you can zoom in and out on the map, and mark spots on it. Just like the compass the map should be hard to craft and use at least one diamond. Once again, all up to you!
3. Piston, or something like it.
I know people have been asking for these, and I know you are trying to steer the game away from minecraft. But, to me, it is a critical feature for electronics. I have a feeling that this one will definitely NOT be added. :-). Not that I expect to see any of these features in 1.23.
4. Here is where it gets weird: Custom Mob.
I can already see you shaking your head. But anyway here is how I thought of it: You have a separate in-game studio thing, and you can customize a mob. That mob is none of the others, but a 2 block long white blob that does nothing at all. That is until you customize it. You can texture it, edit its powers, control its drops, all that stuff. Also, you should be able to save it, and save many more. When you spawn it, it will always stay in the world (unless killed) even if you delete it’s save file. Oh yeah, and you can name them and control health too. Great for adventure maps!
5. PLEASE DO THIS ONE!: Buy and sell block.
This one (of course I may be wrong) does not seem like it would be a challenge at all. (But then again, you never know.) In adventure mode only, you can tap it and it will pull up a screen showing the price, the reward, and (if you do) what you have already paid. (Ex. Diamond Spear, cost 3 blocks of iron, you have paid 2 blocks.) In creative mode, you can set all the prices and stuff. If you do any of these suggestions, please feel free to modify them in any way.
6. This might be a bit late, but how about magnets and electricity?
Pretty self explanatory. If you are already doing this in 1.22, then great! If not, see if you can squeeze it in at the last minute.

Awesome Kaalus im really proud of you, survivalcraft alright passed minecraft pe, and is equal to minecraft Xbox 360 and minecraft pc version, can’t believe you created survivalcraft by yourself and released 22 updates on it. While minecraft pe has had only 7 updates. Oh and plz fix the fish getting inside blocks bug, if you want, ill do a video about it.
I think In 1.20 I came across a bug. I just remembered it now but I don’t know if anyone else reported/noticed it. I had this wolf in a cage, see? It was a full moon night and it did its usual stuff, ya know? Walked around, howled, maybe a bark or two. Then night came and it transformed into a werewolf. But it was up against the wall during the transformation. Then it sort of ghosted out, it went through the very high fence. It was maybe 5, 6 blocks high. So it escaped into another wolf’s cage. I had a whole block of ’em. None of the others did that. Anyone else noticed this happening with their wolf sanctuaries?

No never. I am 1.21 and this gray wolf with a ceiling trapdoor is fine. If it was a full moon it would turn into a werewolf and glitch in the cage and then – dead.
I have noticed that when you light a wolf on fire and then they change into a werewolf or vice versa they are no longer on fire. I think when they change they momentarily “disappear” but you can still see the white flame looking things so I guess it is more like they become become kinda like a ghost so you can sorta see them and they can go through walls.
I also hate that bug very much. The fish one, not the wolf-ghost one. It killed my pet sharks and piranhas! :-(

You should refresh the UI “user interface”. It looks nice and all but it need a little more eye poping colors and effects
Kaalus, thanks for this wonderful update.
However, I would like to recommend a little feature to SurvivalCraft.
Since the update 1.22 changes a lots of game mechanisms, some maps created before version 1.22 might not function well.
I would suggest you to make a TEMPORARY compatibility mode that allows past maps to function, which will be canceled later to unify game experience.
It might be a little hard, but looks like all you need to do is to make a copy of 1.21 embedded into the game.
It will not affect devices since only one mode will be operating.
After all, thanks for your effort in making this wonderful game. Thanks.
By the way, I would like to suggest one more thing for the next version.
That is to repair damaged tools, like swords or pickaxes.
It is because Iron and Diamond are hard to obtain in challenging or cruel mode.
Players will take more time in mining, not survival, if one has to throw away damaged tools.
The addition of repairing tools makes players more engaged in the thrill of survival.
Maybe a crafting table, or a new block to be introduced in repairing tools.
Besides, can you please add piston-like items in the next version?
I think many players really need this to enhance the current electricity system.

You should add Indians. Like they would sometimes help you and they have their one little huts with a fire. And they hunt in tribes and they would hunt buffalo but you would probably have to add buffalo. :-)

I think we should be able to craft a gun like a musket or something…..we already have gunpowder, just add lead so we can make lead balls and use them as ammo. Who thinks this is a good idea?
I think we should craft cannons two blocks long one high one wide and load iron or copper cannonballs, and there could be a little fort with one or two pirates with swords and a revolvable cannon

Oh, yeah!!! Pirates could be a great idea! Have them show up every so often and pillage your buildings. Especially if you’re near the shore. Either pirates, or explorers/conquistadors that travel farther inland.

Me too! I like dragons so I made a world dedicated to them. I built an ice Dragon,a few fire dragons and I’m going to start work on a plains Dragon, a forest Dragon and a water Dragon. Kaalus, I think caves should be seemingly endless, and there should be a carriage or something that can be tied up to horses that you can ride in and carry chests in.
The carriage with chests idea is great! It would make being a nomad a whole lot easier! Along with dogs….like, make a collar (leather and iron) that works for wolves and coyotes much the same way a saddle does a horse, but instead of the whistle calling it to you like the horse, it instead gives it the attack command to ward off other predators; it would follow you everywhere automatically, much like a normal dog would lol. Just a thought lol. Thanks for reading! ^_^

Just saying I’d probably die of happiness if there was island generation ps same for the new killer whales……why would I ever venture out Into the ocean and risk killer animals and getting lost for nothing? Oh my gosh the house I made in survivalcraft caught on fire and burned down and my horses caught on fire to and now my home is gone gone and so are my horses and I can’t make a funeral for them either because their saddles burned up
So how about you add a fire extinguisher in the next update so you can put out fires.
