Here’s the last animal I am adding in 1.22:
It’s a zebra, not an elephant. Maybe in 1.23 I’ll add elephants – it would be cool, but I can foresee many issues with the trunks.
At the moment I am working on the boats. Boat is a vehicle, and so it is a completely new game mechanic. This requires much work, mostly to make various game systems able to cope with it. The basics are in – the player can mount, dismount it and control it. What remains are the details.
As usual, that’s the most painful bit :-)

kaalus, i found a strange bug. Bears keep spawning in strange places. In house, the top floor of my 8 story hotel, even my airplane that is 50 blocks up in the air with no contact with the ground.(it blew up the airplane. NOT happy with that). But thats thatsnot the weirdest part. When i put down a horse and leave the general area, the horse is then a bear. if you could fix this i would be happy. Please respond, Thank you! Also about the boat, cant you take the physics of the horse and just change the design and make it only work in water? Again please respond. BYE!
I had the same thing, a bear keeps spawning in my house in the woods. It’s weird and down right dangerous:/

I found a bug too but a REALLY cool one! I put a sign on a fence post for my inn (room 1408) and it appeared inbetween the post on an angle. Like instead of one of the four sides the sign is diagonally inbetween. Not complaining. It’s awesome looking in fact and I hope it becomes an option lol

I just had a wolf spawn in my mine and then turn into a werewolf and kill me. I lost everything thing I had just mined, it really sacked. I’ve also had bears spawn there. The mine is pretty well lit too.
Hey kaalus, when we kill a lion, can it drop a lion tooth, so if we collect 2 lion tooths, u can create a lion sword, the sword is weaker than a diamond machete but u can hit really fast making combos. Also add pistons, and I want something that enhances the tools and weapons. So maybe can u add a new thing called, enhancer machine. U make this out of copper, geranium, and iron, and has to have a battery connected to make it work. So this is how it’ll work, there are different options when u touch the machine, Sharpness, Critical strike percentage Chance, Speed, and fire damage and other things. Once u tap the machine, there are 4 boxes, one box for u to put u want enhanced. And the other 3 at the bottom to put in resources in to make it enhance. So like, for fire damage, u put the spear in the box up top and the things u need to enhance it on the bottom. Then u put a match on the bottom left box and and put another to the right, and then put coal in the two boxes between, the more u put, it will level up, like u put 20 matches and 20 matches and 20 coal and 20 coal, fire damage will increase to level 2. Okay, so now, there will be a rectangle saying, FIRE DAMAGE 1, U press that then it enhances ur spear, and when u throw ur spear it will be on fire every time u throw it not when u hold it. But remember, there’s different rescources to make different enhancements, so like to make critical strike percentage percentagechance, u would need iron and geranium. Sorry about the grammar………

OMG me too! Zebras are an amazing idea, especially if you can ride them! I also love the lion and ostrich idea, and I think maybe expanding on the species of birds and adding insects (especially insects like mosquitoes and ticks occacionally carrying diseases that can be cured with herbal remedies) could be a good idea, but not sure how well that could be programed into the game….Anyway, SC is my number one game and I always think, there won’t be much more to make it better, but there’s always something else to update it with that continues to put it over the top! I look forward to seeing all the animals Kaalus comes up with, especially if one day he makes it to the leopard. I think I can speak for everyone when I say thank you, Kaalus, for being AMAZING!!!!! ^_^

Oh hey kaalus, oh yeah. Umm, the game is not challenging for me, I mean I built already a building that goes up in the air, and once I’m at the top floor and jump I die. Please fix that, make the sky bigger, not to a limit. Also since I got like a full storage room for each resource, can u make a challenging AI of the wolves. Like at night, the wolve’s main goal is to hunt u down for meat. Because I want a reason to put down barricades. If they’re near u at a certain range, they will attack u for meat. But if u did that already, please make it by a farther range

Hay kaalus on the city I’m trying to make my street lights keep breaking and I’m not doing it.like the wires keep breaking and I keep having to fix them and then five seconds later it’s broke again.please help.
Are you putting the wires on steps or slabs? When you put electricity on these kind of things and run the electricity, they break.
They are on iron blocks.
And I made them like this first I stack 3 iron blocks Bob top each other then I put light bulbs on each side of the middle then I put a battery on the top iron block block and finally I put the wires where they’re connecting all of the light bulbs to the battery
I dont know then. I make streat lights like that from oak wood and it works fine.but i dont put any thing on top the battery. You dont see it anyway.

Probably different programming but Eden-World builder has a paint option for EVERY block. If it’s possible in one game, AND possible for him to paint some blocks already then all should technically be paintable.

you cant paint stairs or SLABS you can paint planks
Once upon a time it was explained that the problem with painting stairs (or other objects) is a matter of bits. The planks occupy a smaller amount as they are a solid cube with no rotation, but since the stairs (and I assume boat) are multi directional they use the same bits to rotate and function properly… So to make them paintable would mean increasing bit usage, and increasing memory resources making it harder, if not impossible, for older phones/tablets to run the game. So the tradeoff for painting would mean some people don’t get to play (plus the game would become a resource hog) … And I’d rather see this game increase in popularity then get to paint willy-nilly lol

Oh ya I found something very disturbing on my game and its ok so my horse that ok so when I went mining in my personal mine shaft near my house so then next thing know I came back up to my house carry bout a hundred then I happen to look where my horse is next thing you know it died cause of a bear in its fence so I built a grave in its honor pretty sad huh. Oh yeah guess I have bout 200 diamonds on survivalcraft in harmless mode pretty cool huh. And there so easy to find like basically every where I look and dig in my mine shaft I literally find diamonds of up to twenty diamonds diamonds im so lucky but if you want tips on finding diamonds easy ask me I’m a pro.

Oh Kay to get diamonds go to bedrock and basalt and dig near geranium malachite sulphur and lava so every once and a while if you search long enough you might find a diamond vein with up to twenty diamonds just try to hope to get some diamonds BOOM! That’s all you need to do ash. Have fun mining but another thing is alaways build your mine shaft near your house. GOOD LUCK!!!!

I had one world where I literally had like 2 or 3 stacks of diamonds but I had to restart my tablet because of s a storage bug and it was so sad losing the world
I’ve got bout 7 stacks of 40 a full chest with stacks of 5 and a stack of 9 and man they were hard to obtain just imagine if stamina and the need to sleep came in 1.21 it would of been longer.

Would be cool if the skin textures of the zebras were each unique with its own pattern, making it similar to real zebras with not having the same kind of pattern. Probably not possible, but maybe having a set texture for ex. head, legs, and then having the body texture be randomized can be done, but im just wishing.
I think it would be neat if we could breed animals and tame wolves, coyotes and lions so they turn into dogs and cats.
Oh and they attack non-tame animals.

For a npc I think it should be a lost pirate that comes to the spot you were marooned after you have been alive an x amount of days and in return for feeding him he could give you something,ideas are.wail oil lantern, and or cross bow with net and grappling hook. I got the 1.6.1 update for the computer and I didn’t like it it lagged a lot the breeding is messed up and to spawn donkeys you use a horse spawn egg :0 weird can you ride the zebra and the ostrich

Wouldn’t the boat mechanics be similar to the horse/camel riding mechanics? Not the exact same, but something to build on when it comes to other vehicles? I’ve been using horses as boats a few times.

Some extra animals maybe in the next update could be dogs, cats, eagles, tigers, squids, elephants as you said maybe and vampires and zombies. Who does not like zombies vs vampire vs werewolves plus vampire would fit since we already have werewolves :P.
More biomes like rainforests, swamps or mangroves, pure tundra to the north and maybe Hell or underworld and the sky. Regarding villagers, I believe we do not want actual human villages like Minecraft simply because we do not want to copy Minecraft but putting tribes would be interesting and I have heard people say cannibals which would be interesting x). Having human eggs would be great to. Sometimes our huge palaces or cities feel lonely which leads to multiplayer!!! Bluetooth would be nice but having multiplayer over wifi would be great! It does get lonely sometimes. For transportation we could have teleporters, cars, motorcycles, monorails and maybe hovercrafts??? Well here are some ideas I got for you :P Love this game. Beats Minecraft PE far far away.

Hey, Kaalus! It’s a great idea to add zebras. I was wondering where they spawned, and if you could ride them, cause that would just be AWESOME!!! Also, I just though of another idea. Maybe, along the beaches where you spawn, there could be shipwrecks where you would have to save people. Just an idea, nothing else.

I’ve got a stupid question and please don’t laugh at me :) Is “the see” infinite? Or is as big that it takes a lot of time to find some other islands? Of course “the see” I mean a water container at beggining of the game. Thank you in advance for answers :)

This might be a good idea, and maybe on creative mode, you could just fly while on a mounted horse because a Pegasus is basically a horse with wings.

Could you please make giraffes and camels drop things in 1.22, because even though they’re cool, giraffes kind of just deep around, and I know you can ride camels which is also cool (can we ride the zebras?) when they die, they drop nothing (or a saddle) and the same with horses.
That mite not be a good idea because pathfinding . A wolf mite get to the hawk and take the food (not to be a half empty cup)
But hawks can fly, what do you mean about the wolves getting their food dear?

Also, I know this is a big and complicated thing, but could you maybe in 1.23 make the pirate ship come back every few days and you can go on board, and there will be chests there with stuff in, but not too rare stuff (eg. Not diamonds/ores, but stuff like food or wooden planks, or other blocks) . There doesn’t have to be people on the ship, but you could take the items and it would come back every few days (eg. On a full moon, or the day before every full moon) with new items. This would help players a bit, and if they are stuggling to find this stuff. I know it’s really complicated >.<
I know I am suggesting so many things but I think that you should make animals fight each other, but rarely. This will make animals more rare to find, and they sometimes give you food, and stuff, so this would go well with the hunger thing. For example, coyotes could fight wolves, and they could both prey on birds or horses, or even boars because they’re quite small. I like the idea of werewolves dropping diamonds, but they could also fight the animals around them during full moons. If you think any of my ideas are good, please reply! ^-^

Survivalcraft can be more suspenseful by adding danger. In the game you build a base or house to stay, right? What if our creations begin to break by getting old, causing ruins? Or earthquakes that move blocks out of their current location and trees falling, also volcanoes. At least three per world? And magnetic fields that cause the magnet useless if your near them. This are only ideas, nothing more.
I think that the “tree falling idea” is so damn hard to make, and with a world of blocks….. I don’t think that is going to work so well…

I think scrafter53 means the zebra. Although, riding whale sharks would be amazing….I think they must be one of my favorite marine animals. Plus, they’re so cute! ^_^

The zebra is really cool nice to see the update is going to be cool. Is there going to be illnesses and lions? Is there going to be cheetahs and gazelles? Maybe in the next update you could add villages I do think that would be cool. Looking forward to the update.:) also add dogs,cats, and other animals maybe to have pets that follow you. Also a character customization thing would be cool to chose between a male and female with a variety of clothing. Thank you Kaalus. :)

Hey I am Ethan ipad I love the game! But what would be cool to put in is like a trib of native people who try and attack you. That would make survival harder and another thing is you should make it where you can breed animals so the baby’s can grow up and kill them for meat. I also think you should put dogs in the game. They can help you with hunting and hearding the cattle. And would even protect you if you where being attacked by something. Just wanted to say that thanks for every thing you do. But I have to go and play the game now bye!

Pleese add tribes or explorers that you could trade with, or you could follow them back to their campsite or villages. I also think that you should add penguins that live in the artic biomes in the next update.

Kaalus u should add elephants,hippopotamus,gorilla,crocodile,cheetah,kangaroo,gazelle,panda,walrus,penguin,vulture,eagle,swordfish,sea turtle,octopus,dolphin,and blue whale i made it short so you wont be frustrated in total they are 17 animals for sc2 3 birds like two flying the eagle and vulture and a flightless bird the penguin and 5 water animals the sea turtle,octopus,swordfish,dolphin and the blue whale will perhaps the largest animal in the game and 9 land animals or water animals like hippos,crocs,walrus,elphant,gorilla,cheetah,panda,kangaroo,and gazelle.pls add them kaalus i even made a furniture using clay in SC2
