I am worried about 1.22, there is so much stuff started but not finished. I have stopped adding features, and will only work on wrapping up of what’s already added.
I’m not sure when it will be ready for release. I know you want the update badly, but there are lots of ends that need tying up. Pathfinding, boats, new animals, survival stuff. My todo list is really long. The good news is that I’m working on it almost around the clock and my sole aim now is to wrap it up. So no more new stuff in 1.22!
Of course I still have to show you some of the new animals that are coming.
And if you need more stuff to watch, there’s also the latest Let’s Play Survivalcraft from daverave40.

Does the rye grow if there is artificial light next to it? Also I think that when you craft the rye into bread you should get seeds back and you should be able to sneak on top of soil and it won’t be destroyed
This was going to be my question as well, I already have a large underground space that could be dedicated to farming if all the rye needs is sufficient light and tilled dirt.

Kaalus, since Saltpeter is hard to get, could you change the furtilizer? Maybe you could use a mix of sand, grass, and a red or blue flower?
It’s not that hard to find, all u need to do is go were there is sand like the beach and dig down till u find it.

What i do is i start my world in creative do what ever then change to survival so what that means is to get it put stacks of 40in creative then change

Awesome, farming is just what survival craft needed. Your doing a great job Kaalus:) I’m curious though, you said buckets are stackable, but are spears going to be stackable? That would make hunting a lot easier.
ur idea make my 1 – spears on rope and climbing on rope + watter well and wheele mechanic with wich u can take rope up (n down) and on end of the rope could be bucket – for water wells

Klaaus….great job! Buuut…the bird landing in the video gave me an idea to add challenge and realism…can you make the blackbirds eat freshly down seeds?…creating the need for a scarecrow….such can be made of sticks and harvested plain grass or tree leaves…maybe need 1 per X blocks…say a 20×20 field needs 1 scarecrow….would add realism and challenge to the farming aspect

I like the scarecrow idea… He did say that animals will ruin plants so will birds landing on your crops destroy them? Will plants grown if they are surrounded by glass (like a green house)? If not then we defiantly need the scarecrow to keep birds out of our gardens

I really want it! When 1.22 is done , you should add on the 1.23 spiders (spider webs) , book shelfs, beds, paintings (more furniture stuff), swamp areas , more lightning systems, new weapons, new animals (snakes, turtles, tigers,…) , new traps, villagers, skin editor and clothes, mine carts (for rollercoasters and mines) and i have a question: can i make my own texture pack? Cause my favourite one is john smith legacy , the one that jamziboy use, but i wish i could make some changes , i have a world with only medieval houses and a HUGE cathedral , im not presuming , but i think my world is the best for me. Wish i could know how to publish it. It has a size of 21.74 MB! It is a lot for me. These are some ideas that i think everyone want. Good work kaalus! Keep it!

I know you’re not adding anything more but somehow farming got me thinking…you can grow flowers on grass and dirt only am I right? Ever consider a flower pot block to plant on for interior planting mayham? I know I’d rather have a pot block inside than a dirt block that I have to surround with wood just to cover up.

ooo I like that! A plague that you can catch from “infected” animals. You have to make certain medicine to help fight it off. It could play into the whole stamina bit and drains your every move lol
That is one of the best ideas I ever heard of! Maybe we could create tortured chambers and combine a series of viruses from infected animals and test them out on healthy animals- to see if we invented a cure or an even more deadly virus. Or biochemical warfare! There could be like , pirates invading the land and we can throw grenades and dirty bombs and we can catapult boulders at their ships! Brilliant!!

That’s @Dragon Master’s brain; it sprouts into a petulant dragon that chases it’s own tail and sets it on fire then runs in a circle until it’s toast.
It clearly states in the vid its a normal tall grass seed dropped when you destroy tall grass.

There is a black bear that sits near my house. I am playing on challenging and i havent killed him because no matter how close i get to him he doesnt become hostile…

I have problem with piranhas, when i enter in the lake for the first time, they try to kill me, but when i leave and enter again, they don’t do nothing, only if i hit them O.o

Keep up the good work!, but remember to take time for yourself too. If you don’t take good care of yourself, you might burn out and then You might have to abandon Survival Craft altogether and that would make even the most impatient people on here much sadder than having to wait a bit longer for the update.

Hey Kaal you should add in water buckets in order to water the plants instead of water in between the crops. Also add more crops like eggplants, grape vines, and fruit trees. And we could use the water bucket to help the plants grow. Sorry to say I’m a little to obssesed with growing stuff in games. Idk why but I love games that you can farm in especially this way where you can move instead of sliding the screen.
