I have submitted the next iOS build to Apple. This time it’s 1.21, with horses and all the new stuff. For those asking: it is a universal binary, i.e. it will work on both iPad and iPhone/iPod. You need at least iOS 5.1 and iPhone 3GS/iPod 3G or newer (any iPad will work).
Apple have been spoon-feeding me with one failure at a time per each review. And each review takes around a week. I’d love if they tested the game to the end instead of stopping on the first issue, it would speed things up tremendously. But you can’t (and better don’t) argue with them.
Anyway, after two fails so far I see there are two options: either I will eventually fix all the issues they care to find, or they will find something that is impossible for me to fix, which will put a stop to the whole business. So far, the problems they have found had nothing to do with the game itself, but with various secondary matters, such as “alpha” text on the main screen or using too much space in iCloud backup. All were easy fixed.
As usual, I submitted the new build with high hopes, but slightly lower expectations than at the first time :-) We’ll see in about a week.
