Community Content issue that prevented WP7 owners from downloading anything hosted on Dropbox is now fixed. I have tested it on my venerable Samsung Omnia. The fix will be out with 1.21, that means soon.
As I’m waiting for Apple to respond, I’m spending lots of time doing cleanup and little tweaks. This increases quality of the game in an important way, and makes it less likely that I will have to release emergency bugfixes later on. So it’s good. I know Apple puts your patience to test :-) Mine as well. The weekend’s over, so maybe they’ll do something now.
Btw. I added a new horse color today. Why have 4 when you can have 5? It’s called palomino.
There’s also more cowboy stuff to come, I’ll show you in the next post.

And seeing as this is probably one of the only times you may ever get to read a comment of mine, may I suggest the idea of adding tribals to the game? Give me something to fend off from the castle. Or even the possibility of being able to craft a small boat or hand glider?

I really like the idea of taming horses, but I wonder why you didn’t also choose to add dogs. Archaeology suggests that humans have lived beside and with dogs for longer than we’ve had horses, and for hunting and security, a dog is better than a horse. We should have both!

A dog will defend against wolves, and can be trained to fetch birds (hunting).
A horse will spook at it’s own shadow, and trample all over your garden if not tied up.

And its a colour, there are 2 versions of palomino. I love and study horses so take it from me

kaalus I see that the wood blocks are painted somehow by the game engine, not texturepack
Can you add the same method of coloring for granite? or other stone blocks?
I do not like to build with wood, and the other blocks limits me because lack of different color versions
That’s a great idea:) Painting granite is realistic (as in staining) and would add a lot more creative options. Not to mention we already has paint buckets so it souldn’t be to hard to implement:-)

I don’t think I’ve ever anticipated a game release so much on my iOS devise. I agree apple is crap in these circumstances but I only own a ipad :( I know this must be so annoying for android users waiting for the update but share the luv brothers and sisters :D we need some SC to haha. Paint your Horse Mmmm cool, I want mine painted black with a red stripe down it like the A-Team van. Then I can ride around the landscape at full speed humming the A-Team theme tune, Hell Yeh XP.

Oh found a glitch! I was killing cows, one cow was on top of the other, spawned another and the cow phased through the wall.
If you fall on an animal or body of an animal you wont die same thing for other animals.
I have tested it many times.

How about cross bows. Shoot straight and can be made out of wood, stone, steal, and diamond.
Kaalus said in one of his videos that bows are one of the things he was thinking of adding. As a hunter, I know a cross bow isn’t the same as a bow and arrow, but the bow and arrow are most likely to appear in a future update! Hope this helps :)
The problem for kaalud is there is no string in the game.
With the horses I say you can use horse hair or horse tail to make string.

If it was a repeating crossbow, we wouldn’t need string. I read that they use twisted animal sinew (tendon) to launch bolts and were first used by the Greeks. Maybe it could be made from leather.

Do u think you can make it to where we can tame wolves into a companion, so they can maybe help us herd cows? And hunt? Also, I would love to have multiplayer. I also think you should add more sea life as descrined in a different post.

Or as someone else suggested can help hunt or fetch birds. ..etc. Cant wait for the update Your doing way better than minecraft. Kaalus would it be possible you add something to make sc user friendly to modders that understand the programming language of sc. For example when they create a world there is an option to add a file that modifies the sc file or inject a script. Something like this?

I’m guessing you don’t have Dropbox, so to make an account, go to “Get Content” and select “Private.” Tap the … in the corner and select “Dropbox” and there should be an option to login. Go through that to make an account.
Once you’ve done that, select the world you want to publish, tap “Modify” and then “Upload” to Dropbox.
Now go back to “Get Content” and “Private” select the world and “Copy Link.” Go to “Community” select “Publish” and paste the link. Change type to “World” and publish.
