I’ve had reports from some people saying that community content downloads have stopped working, and they are getting “Cannot read it as a zip file” or similar errors. I have been able to reproduce that on my Windows Phone 7 device, but not on Android. On the other hand, some people say that the downloads work for them on Lumias 920.
If you are getting this issue, can you please comment on this post and tell me what device are you running the game on?
Being able to reproduce it, I think I know what the problem is, but I need to be sure.

Please note: this is only for Community Content downloads. Please do not comment if you are getting this error when downloading from Dropbox or via a link. Then it’s something else, most likely an invalid address that links to a download page instead of the resource itself. But community content links are verified before being published, they should always work. Please only comment if you try to download Community Content item and it gives you an error.

I am using a rooted Kindle Fire. A few times in the past I have gotten the message, “Could not be downloaded due to incorrect address.” Or a 404 error.
Also, when I log into Dropbox and hit the back key several times, the white text that shows how big the world is, what mode of survival it is, etc. It is blacked out. A small but annoying visual bug.

hey, when I click on upload using the dropbox button is keeps coming up with i am not logged in when i am logged in on the dropbox app and drop box online as well. i have a archos 80 colbalt.
I’m on Lumia 710 using WP7 and when I try to download a map it says “Cannot read it as a zip file” like you said and when trying to download a blocks texture it says an unexpected error has occurred. This wasn’t happening a while ago within the same version although
It works on a kindle fire though …well…sometimes when I download a texture pack it cant read it..so I turn off my device and then it back on.Then It Works!!!

Kaalus the community content problem happens to me too, this is what happens, first I go to community content and go to download some texture packs, but sometimes when I wanna download texture packs, it says ”cannot download texture pack” and then it gives me the texture pack link, it sometimes does it for maps, i am using a Samsung galaxy tab 2 7.0 , hope this helped you kaalus :), o I forgot to say that when I wanna download some map, sometimes it says ”error loading map”or”cannot download map, hope this helped kaalus :D

Kaalus can you add vampires and people who would spawn in villages. Also, since you would’ve added people the werewolves would turn into people instead. Obviously you would also need to create towns or villages.I know that it sound kind of like Minecraft, but there would be significant difference.

I have a lot of worlds downloaded which slows the game and may cause this problem.
Perhaps a way to delete multiple worlds at one time would help?
I have a Nokia lumia 900 running windows 7.5 and it does that for me. Only for worlds though; texture packs download fine
P.S. What do you use to code the game? Because Java isn’t supported on apple, maybe you use c++ on all 3. Please reply, I need it for a game im making
Well, im an andriod user, and my phone is galaxy 3. I have a problem- I cant recieve the files from dropbox. It tells me that there are no files saved in dropbox- is it wrong with me?
okay so im having this same problem . im using wp7 nokia610 this has been going on for 3 days. im very aware of how to properly use dropbox with survival craft. ive tried lots of things. ive turned everything off, logged out of everything, unisallied SC, and made a new dropbox acount. and still nothing. this problem is like you said, only with the community tab and or publishing in game content through the community tab. i found out the hard that this is only a wp7 problem by purcheing SC on my girlfriends phone witch is andriod os and had no problem with the community tab. these r links to vids of whats happening.

I am using an android tablet and every time I try to select ‘show more’, it comes up with a error 500. I don’t know why as it was working perfectly normal earlier. Oh, and my internet is fine too.

Hey Kaalus, BIG issue here.! I don’t know if you’ve heard this from someone else before but, my community content doesn’t update.! It’s all the same as the Top Rated listings.! It’s been like this for a while and I’m getting tired of not being able to look at what other people are building. I have an iPhone 5s but I had the same problem on my iPhone 5c as well.
