Because I am still away from my Mac and can’t work on getting iOS build fixed, I moved some of the postponed stuff back into the schedule. First thing is jumping overhaul.

So, finally, you can’t jump over fences (and cacti – although it’s not in the video).
Climbing blocks now feels like climbing, not jumping on a pogo stick. The jump distance is also affected. The longest gap you can jump over in 1.21 is 3 blocks.

I like the horse but shouldnt you add a way for people to sprint so they can jump farther for purposes of parkour maps and for survival mechanics?
I’ll second this. Maybe add a functionality that allows the player to ‘double jump’ so you can climb fences and jump further?
I don’t think that would be a good Idea and hey kaalus how did u make survival craft because I’m trying to find a good way to make a mobile game and I can’t find anything

I agree with this, like a one block high door that can fit onto fences, unlike doors which stick out than being in the middle.
Maybe also new type of fences can be made out of different materials, such as stone for stone walls or iron for metal gates, etc

I think horses should be able to jump 1-block-high fences only when you ride them (while galloping). This way you could make a race/obstacle track or something. Just my two-cents :)

Best it would be to change dynamics so that horses on their own donn’t jump 1 high too keep em in coral. :)
But when mounted have am jump at least 2 blocks high.

Well done kaalus it does look realistic now ,but I think the horses could jump over only when they galloping :). .
You can make a boat alrady..?? well canoe any way, all you do is put 3 chests together on the top line and launch it in the sea. you’ll need a plank in your hand to move though. I have found two new islands already. and they seem to have more minerals, some are just lying on the beach. the first island i reached was called lipraloof. not many people know this cheat.

Also beds exists 3 wood slabs do the job well but you still need to have a safe shelter to put it in (works very well) I realise some new guys don’t know some of the things that can be done with game.
You can also ride animals already, riding polar bears is great fun.
Yes, to ride animals ( it is best to ride hostile creatures) all you need to do is hit the creature and as it runs up to you, you jump. Then you are on top of the animal. But you have to get as close to the head as possible so it can only move one way. P.S if you ride creatures in the water, they act like a boat but soon they will drown.
Add wooden stairs at the head and it looks better. Or just sleep under a tree.
You right jes mine has 8 slabs 2×3 and two others at head .
And we can make shelves with stair blocks, tables with pressure plates and fences, chairs with stairs, and actually I prefer to make my beds out of full-sized planks so that I can paint them. I don’t think furniture needs to be added; it’s already in the game!
I use 2×1 Leaves to sleep on, surrounded by wood planks.

If you take the canoe as far east from starting point you will find the origonal craft you came on the (skcorsulaak) frigate made in luxenbourge.
kaalus can u add fence gates it will be good for making a village also with the leather can we make bags so we have a double bigger inventory and soon we can use the leather for armor. oh yea new ore can you make a new ore called steel instead of gold and steel needs to be darker then iron.

Hey, I don’t know if you’ve already heard about this or not, but you can use trapdoors to hold up sand and gravel. It acts a little like a piston when you open it:)

Hey can you add villages that spawn on the island your on and maybe to make it more interesting If you are mean to villagers they become hostile and will attack and grow their village the longer you survive or if you are nice they will allow you to use their resources and trade also could you add farming and a hunger bar to make it more difficult and depending on the difficulty of the game would change how fast the hunger bar ran out
On the first island i found Luksaa there are villagers that look like the main character but do attack (avoid these guys) Get what minerals you can and don’t stay overnight.
Avoid digging any gold here although it’s a mineral we don’t have on the mainland, I can’t find anything to build with it on the island or the mainland maybe something we may be able to use later on. Don’t bother with this just grab as much Prailosium as you can this can be used for unbreakable tools.
Prailosium spears are the only tool that can shatter an animals bones, the bones can be collected to offer to wolves who will guard you day and night against any other predators.
Some guys on here like to keep this secret, When the apple people come try and keep it to yourselves. (windows 8 phone user)
If the wolves get a bit annoying there is only one way to loose them. Dynamite.. it can only be made using gunpowder and sulphur. you need to melt them together using the furnace. combing 1 large barrel and 1 sulphur gives you 2 dynamite bars. use it sparingly very volatile in the wrong hands. 1 bar will kill 10 wolves. as i say be carefull it is a bit volatile.

Remember only use this if you can’t get rid of your friendly dogs.. it’s really important not to try using dynamite otherwise It’s very unstable…

The maps you have with all you designs will need to be washed clean if you want some islands away from the mainland you were deserted on. not imposible though. The easiest way for islands is to make your own.. boats aren’t impossible too.
you could build a walkway out at sea and build an island remove the walkway backwards and dig a tunnel back out to your island it may be a bit great escape trying to dig deep enough and hit your island though so suggest digging tunnel back first.
All that taking into consideration i have actually found island but am reliantly informed they are actually islands on large lakes. (the Kaalus one)

The story of Eune goes as follows. Someone tried to make a mod for survival craft. That was his first mistake, because the game glitched out, resulting in the fusion of all game modes. Now ‘The Players’ has animals that are constantly hostile, blocks that can only be broken with proper tools, and no health regeneration. Furthermore, The Player’s avatar (Eune) is permanently scared around the eyes, hands and in stripes around its body.He can not fly and is still vulnerable, but because of the attempted mod, he can now teleport using a special machete. The most scary thing that Eune is capable of is the ability to travel to different devices through URLs on signs! Luckily, The Player can only modify survival craft related data. But Eune can now access any game and any world. Even yours!!:O

I have a suggestion that I think hasn’t been mentioned yet: wind. It could go north, south, east or west, and slightly push the character whichever way it is blowing. Wind could also open up a few new items: a weathervane and the popularly requested boat. The boat would have a sail that would also push you in the direction of the wind. You could still move/row another dirextion, but it’d be slower; if you went with the wind it would be faster than normal.
Also: sandstorms in the desert. This would make it harder to see and the wind would be doubly strong.
I hope you consider this Kaalus, and great work!
And if the wind got powerfull enough maybe tornados :-)

Players could add atmosphere to Adventures or explore maps.
There some free to use programs that allow people to make their own RPG.
Maybe you could get some inspiration and ideas from there.

If you used stair dynamics for climbing one block high, does that mean you forward movement speed is the same as when climbing stairs. That the only difference is that with one block you’re already at +1height at the beginning of the block and with stair at +1 height at the end of the block?
I think there should be a little delay, slower forward speed, when climbing a block, to make a differnece between smooth stairs and a rough climb of a block. ;)

kaalus there is a bug first go on sc then when you press the middle button on your phone it closes and then go back to the game all the writing is covered with black and some times you cant press any buttons you cant exit or go on setting or sleep but you can still play but not press the game buttons like settings but when you press the middle button on your phone then it close then i have to close sc then go back then it works.

Buttons not responding. Couldn’t sleep not even kill myself. Not scroll inventory.
And the letters around the Kaalusblog link in the start up window sometimes show all different kinds of starnge none ascII symbols in various colors.
Hadn’t connected the two with each otehr but could.
Something I had done before it happend was change a texture map.
(??With photo’s added as texture, and resized using biliniear in photoshop??)

Ad that happend when I loaded AphX huge map as Adventure map. It stopped responding for long time, did something stange then played normally. Map wasn’t designed as Adventure map

Hi kaalus would you be ever so kind to add rideable boats in survivalcraft beacause I really survival want to explore the seas and make a boat ride on one of my worlds or please could you add some kind of fantasy creature like rideable dragons,orgs,giants,unicorns,zombies,villages,deamonds,mermaids,even the loch ness monster. or the normal animals like chickens,pigs,donkeys,monkeys,giant spiders, but the thing I really want is house pets like cats,dogs,turtles,guinepigs,parrots,hamsters,snakes. Just so that im not alone im little houses. Anybody who also wants the animals that I want please say the name of that animal in a comment
