At the moment it is difficult to download custom texture packs or adventure maps into the game. A lot of people don’t have time to read the forums to find the links, or even to grok Dropbox to be able to download them.
It’s even more difficult to create and share them.
I want to start fixing that in 1.20, so that we may capitalize on the backwards compatibility of the game and start building up a library of user content.
I have a certain plan on how to do it, and most importantly be able to support it long-term. I don’t want to reveal it yet, until I am sure it will work.
My most important goal is to allow all users to download custom content without having to go searching for links outside of the game, or setting up Dropbox accounts.
Sharing the content should be made easier as well, although not necessarily as easy as finding and downloading it :-)

i agree wth gunpowder,but what else you should add could b the abuility 2 tame animals,and add
sheep,and more animals. also… FENCE GATES. i also think it would b cool if u could add the affect of
baby animals like in real minecraft,and last but certainly not least MULTIPLAYER,AND OR WTH SERVERS NEEDS 2 B ADDED
Quite a fine idea about multiplayer, but he doesnt need to put fence gates in, because you can use doors, which are easier to make than gates in minecraft.
I like the idea of taming ;)
going with frances, I was also thinking that you should try making it so that electric items on a iron or copper block will get an electric current when the block is hit by lightning, so you could make lightning rods that can harnnes electricity.

Could you keep dropbox going though, as well as this new idea that you are going to put forward…. I actually thought that the dropbox worked quite well, a good backup source and was reasonably stable… Although its not the best when it comes to sharing publicly… Also, I really do not want any security breaches via a new share loads of dodgy files via survivalcraft :P
Dropbox stays of course, how would you get the files off the phone on WP7 without it.

Are u making this for ios?? Most people play game whit ipad.. And you maybe get money..
I agreed there are at least 5 people I know that want this game on ipad and about 20 others that want it on their iphone. Personally I an Android but I do feel you could get a huge income from it.
so far I have got about 10 purcases for Android for ya plus two from my self for me and my GF. But run out of Android customers for ya :(

You could, although this may take a long a time, set up a database that contains many files that people upload and download. It would be easily accessible through the phones and there could even be different categories for ease of access.
Also can you access windows phone files on Android, because I’m upgrading to a note 2 and I don’t want to lose all my work.
As long as you use the same Dropbox on your Note 2 as you did on your windows phone, all your files will be there.

Kaalus’s official statement on multiplayer is basically that he’d like the game to be 99% complete before taking on the task of implementing multiplayer. Because it will take a very long time, he wants there to be as much stuff in singleplayer as possible in order to keep us entertained while he works on multiplayer. In short, don’t expect it tomorrow, or the next day, or the next day, etc.

Perhaps this could be the groundwork of multiplayer too, if you make it possible to go to a uploaded world in app. Then you would just build off of it.
This is quite a bit off topic, but is there any chance of raising the attack damage of a stone chunk, higher than its 1 rating… I’d know which would hurt more, a snowball or a stone chunk :P
Would it be possible to add higher res textures such as 2048 x 2048? Or is that to taxing for the hardware?
you can use 2048 textures but first you have to make one and it would probably cause a lot of lag.
I’ve tried making saving some textures at 2048 and it won’t load them. It just goes to the default texture. Kaalus said you can only make them up to 1024 which is unfortunate.
Kaalus, i think you should add hostile mobs (zombies, skeletons, etc.), rails, and more food. Alpha 1.20 should be like The Adventure Update like in Minecraft. That would be good for Alpha 1.20. Also, I keep on having light bulb bugs in WP7.

Kaalus first of all I love this game and so do most of my friends and second you said in the thing about the coal you want to make this realistic my suggestions are to add fish and a hostile aquatic creature, also something to move blocks but not like minecraft’s crappy one block movement something that keeps pushing. This game also needs more hostile mobs because it’s less survival more crafting you need something more meneacing then a werewolf something that that can be out in the day time.

For update 1.21 can you try to add a person spawner so you can make towns because i know a guy who plays minecraft on pc and he can get people that would make survivalcraft get a bit more popular just makin a suggestion.

WTF, only minecraft pc… Minecraft PE it s the most ridiculous game in google play…
Maybe not the most ridiculous but MCPE is really far, far n’ away from Survivalcraft, it’s mostly supported by the community with all those mods, unlocks, texture packs n’ world building/porting, if not, well, it’d really be one of the worst! Survivalcraft is a richer PE game but it still needs bigger controls n’ a way to easily edit/port huge maps.
