Another source of freezes

Creature spawning. This was rather smaller than autosaving, most of the time below 100ms, but still noticeable.

Optimized it and removed some unnecessary things it was doing and now it’s down to about 5ms, unless creatures are actually spawned. But that happens rarely.

To see how I’m doing I’ve built 1.15 to compare it with my latest build of 1.16, and the difference is striking :-) It’s still not totally smooth because terrain generation causes hiccups here and there, but it’s miles ahead of 1.15.

Tomorrow probably back to adding features.

    can’t wait to see features but gonna have to, i’m on a break myself, long awaited, so break a leg with 1.16 and give you peace for a couple of weeks love 1.15 by the way (thanks again).

    reguards icon or avatar how are they picked, and is mine a pig for a understandable reason? or us it a bore?
