Congrats to everyone who guessed correctly – in 1.12 it’s going to be wolves and coyotes.
During the day they are hard to find and docile. But when the night falls, all hell breaks loose. First you hear a distant howl, then one more a bit closer. It is getting quite scary, and then you see them. They smell you from a distance and soon the whole pack is after you. If you have nowhere to hide and no ladder to climb a tree, bad luck. They will feast on your corpse…

Wow that is so cool and the wolves sound so deadly. What do the other types of wolves and coyotes look like. And are you planning to make more dangerous things that are in the day.

I think wolves should be more peaceful towards the player, and actively seek to run from the player…that way, they would only attack you if you walk into a den or something. Just my opinion. Or you could have a realistic behavior mode where they could try to stay away from the player and run around a lot. Just a quick thought. But awesome nonetheless.
Randomizing the AI a bit would be good.
New Request: since night time will no longer be as easy to operate in, I would like to ask that we have an option to turn off the progression of the day/night cycle when in creative mode.
In creative mode you can flip between times of day by pressing the sun/moon button on the right. Also wolves don’t attack unprovoked in creative and harmless modes.
It’s still tiresome to be flipping back to day all the time. I don’t want to build at night, and the day/night cycling slows down the game as well. Is it really that much to ask to have just a bit more control over the game when we’re spending hours building something?
Stop being so lazy all you have to do is click it once or twice.

It would be very helpful if we could just have midday/midnight flip option, with no sun/moon movement at all.

You should make it so they kill cows and when you kill the. They drop pelt that can be used for carpets or a weak armor.
Yes love ur idea and I think u accidentally put a period so instead of the. Don’t u mean them… Anyway it happens to me all the time and id irritating…. But yes I would love carpet and week armor, but one suggestion is that carpet doesn’t make the floor get bigger… Maybe it designs it and makes it so you can sleep on it… Also sheep would be great…

You should make them so some have rabies and some don’t so the rabie ones seek out the player. Because wolfs don’t really seek out to kill humans. And also have them attack cows to just make them seem like there hunting for food not just trying to seek out the player.
It is not completely realistic, Kaalus kept refering back to the moon every so often (Were wolfs).

I agree with the animal interaction part. Many good games have either won or lost points, in my opinion, due to interactivity of NPCs, or lack there of.
Now we just need transportation
What about teleporter like in Halo 3 forge you can have 1 way or 2 way teleporter nodes… Also boats, cars, bikes, maybe you make a boat by butting blocks of planks in a plus sighn and then put materials for sails or motors and it makes a small boat…
I would like mine carts and tracks cause I like building inside of mountains and out side of them hahaha would be quicker to get from house to house

In 1.12 you should add random travelers that walk around and you can pay them to help you fight,mine, protect your house,etc. You can pay them with gold coins that yo make from gold.

In 1.13 you should add locks that can either be opened with a code or a key that would be epic

More and more, I think a compass would be useful. And, short of wool, I think we have all we need in SC already to make one:

Are you planning to make more dangerous creatures like bears? Also can you add armor and another weapon in this update pleasssssee? Maybe in 1.13 or 1.14 you can add other people who can help you.
After downloading the update i havent been able to play my survival craft every time i click play it sends me back to the menú. Can you help me

Set you audio volume above zero (in the game settings). This is a known bug already fixed in 1.12. Also check the FAQ.
