Just realized that I should have put saltpeter in sandstone, not in granite. Reasons:

  • Sandstone is shallow in the game, which matches shallow location of saltpeter
  • It would be the first mineral to be found in sandstone, increasing game variation
  • In nature the mineral is found in arid areas only, and sandstone mostly exists in deserts in Survivalcraft – another match

Too late to fix for 1.10, but will amend in 1.11.

1.10 still in certification.

Well you learn something new every day.

    Thanks for the explosives kaalus.

I just keep thinking “how can he possibly make this game better” and you just keep doing it.

So i thought for a while and i think I’ve got a pretty good suggestion.
I’m thinking of a new mob. But since you have the sky and land covered, maybe a burrowing creature would make a good addition.

Some sort of violent mole or something that spawns underground in caverns.

Also i like the idea of animal bait that you can use to help you hunt. Like seeds for birds and bird meat crafted with a spice you can get from a plant for boars.

Or even something generic for all mobs like berries that you can eat too for a very small health boost.

That was pretty rude to say, I think I can find humor here though – Tu es mucho tonto y Gordo y antipatico. (sorry for bad Spanish) have fun, and your welcome for me doing something to annoy you deliberately – and me gusta means I like. Have a nice day

Saltpeter is found undergroud, in sandstone. Looks like white seams with default texture pack.

What does saltpeter even do? Is it just for decoration or is it a fuse? If not you should ad a fuse so you can explode barrels from a distance.
