Alpha 1.9 is submitted. I finished Dropbox stuff today and spent the last couple of hours testing it thoroughly, hopefully there will be no problems. To recap, Dropbox integration allows you to:
- backup your worlds online
- share your worlds with other people (you can create shared folders in Dropbox)
- download custom texture packs
In this version you are also getting fences and upside-down stairs and slabs. You can now have more than 4 worlds on your phone (handy with Dropbox downloading), and I reorganized Recipaedia categories so that “dismantle”-type recipes do not clutter the real stuff.
Later in the week I’ll post the texture pack template. This is basically a png image divided into 256 square slots that contain block textures.
With worlds on Dropbox it may be possible to fix corrupt files if they happen. “Scworld” file is just a zip that contains the raw world data.
