Even though the texture is all pink, trees, grass and water have different hues. This comes from temperature/humidity calculations and is not affected by texture pack.

Yeah, guessed correctly! A Minecraft texture pack.
During early days of Survivalcraft I used the same locations on the texture as Minecraft does, so early blocks like dirt, sand, wood etc. show correctly. Unfortunately most later blocks are different, so you cannot re-use Minecraft texture packs as-is.
And no, TNT is not in Survivalcraft yet :-) This is just a clay block that happens to use the same slot as TNT in Minecraft. But explosives may be next on my radar after Dropbox is finished.

Sadly not. Using larger texture packs may make it slower but I doubt that using smaller will make it any faster. The default one is 256×256 which is hardly taxing on any hardware.

It is. But it’s not the priority thing now. In creative you can build your own trees “the hard way”.

I would have to upgrade player animations first. This is planned but it’s not first priority.
Kaalus, I was wondering whether it could be possible Or not to get more informations about the way you realize your blocky design? I mean that with textures packs, I’d like to be able to modify some of the blocks your have created without attack the whole blocks homogeneity. Thus maybe you could let use access to some raw .psd files or I don’t know which format you use to have a look on your layers construction, used techniques, color palette etc. you are using for textures realization. Just modifying a .png won’t render the better result I think, am I wrong? Thanks!
I am not using anything fancy. This is just 16×16 texture and I mostly draw everything by hand, pixel by pixel.

can you make it so tree drop sapings and you can use bedrock chips to make them grow super fast. And we should be able to build with badrock on creative mode. Also make cats and monsters and animals. ( cows pigs cats Ext.)

I understand you get error 404 when you try to login to Dropbox? What happens when you go back to the game then (using the back button)?

If i press back button it goes that: you’ve already allowed…. When you click continue on the Dropbox page that says that you already allowed Survivalcraft to access Dropbox, you are getting a 404 error. Could you please copy the 404 page address (from the address bar in the browser) and send it to me (candyrufusgames@gmail.com)?

I’ve got your email, no worries. Big thanks, it actually let me figure out what’s the problem behind these 404 errors. It turns out that Dropbox adds parameters to its callback URL, and this causes it to freak out once it tries to open the callback page.
I will be fixing that soon by not using oauth callbacks.
