Basalt stairs and slabs

Thanks for reminding me. These were obviously missing. I am also thinking of adding limestone stairs and slabs, although I am a little worried about the shrinking pool of remaining block ids. Maybe better save it for something more exciting than a new type of stairs?

I have finished adding code to support using of texture packs, but it’s still untested so it very probably does not work. Predictably, I’ll post a screenshot with some crazy texture pack when this works so you’ll know :-)

Survivalcraft codebase is now fairly mature and hack-free, it took me literally 5 minutes to add basalt variants of stairs and slabs. Adding more of the same is easy, it’s adding of the new stuff that is difficult.

Tomorrow more Dropbox.

Haha. We’ve turned kaalus’ developer blog into a debate of linguistics. Ah, you are correct, if we are using it as a verb, but if we go by that it’s ” I like you work” (me gusta tu trabajas). In here the “trabajo” (“work”) is used in the same form as say, “a work of art”, which is not a verb, but a noun. Hence there is no conjugation. Ex.; Mi trabajo ( my work), Tu/Su/Vuestro trabajo (your work), El trabajo de ellos/ellas (their work), etc. So, in conclusion, out of context, you are correct, the “tu” form of trabajar (a verb- “to work”) is trabajas, but here, we are referring to a noun, not a verb. I hope this clears it up good sirs.

no it wouldn’t be because trabajo means “I work” so that would be saying “I like you i work”

Its both. It just means “work”. The rules of conjugation are very different between latin-derived spanish and germanic english… So im not surprised that the confusion occurs. But believe me here; Spanish is my “mother-tongue”.

The posts are just fences that do not have anything to connect to around them.

Sure they are (like in minecraft), but it is still a useful propriety of fences that I’m glad to see implemented :)
