As you may have noticed, Lefora guys have finally upgraded our forum to the new system. I got an email from them about that back in July, and then things went quiet for a long time. But lo and behold, 3 months later there it is – and it looks nice. Even though the new forum is just a couple of days old, the admins have been at work customizing the looks.

All the user accounts and posts have been automatically migrated, but I think your passwords were reset, so you’ll have to set up new ones when you log in.
1.23 is getting closer. Today I finished work on the new electrics. It’s mostly testing and little bits and bobs that stand between now and the release.
In the meantime, have a look at some of the as yet unannounced electric elements that are coming up:
I am sure some cheeky guy will check the filenames and tell you what they are :-) Btw. these three is not everything, there’s more. I’ll show you later.

I agree with you ,perfect great game but…..design and the atmosphere is dull. I think you should add crack effects and unique terrain and biomes. I think that’s why I get discouraged to play it again. Design is very important. Also, kaalus, please add places to go to get certain materials and new mobs in that place kinda like the nether or block story’s tons of places to go like hell and Atlantis etc. And please please make movable explosives; the gunpowder keg doesent move and it doesent go with physics. Last two things, add some how like an enchanting machine and add PISTONS. Oh damn, I spelled my first name wrong on my Gmail.

kaalus can u make it so if u have alot of heavy stuff in your inventory u slow down for instance if u had loads of iron in your inventory u would only be going 2 mph.

Giraffe (special saddle)

Bulls (will randomly try to kick you off)
PAINTABLES:
Fences
Horses (will show flowers, hearts,… in that paint color)
Wire through blocks (except Simi conductor)
Stairs (of paintable materials)
CRAFTABLES:
Giraffe harness:
Saddle. Nothing. Nothing
Woodslab Nothing. Nothing

It works kinda funny.
1. Tap giraffe with harness in hand
2. There will be two platforms, on on top (with wood slab beneath), and one on the actual giraffe
3. Tap the top platform or bottom saddle
4. The rest works like normal horse
Rope. I’ve heard of rope crafted from plant material, so it will save you some time vs. making a new animal and sissors
Wild rye. Wild Rye. Nothing

Rope has 2 uses. Boats and animals
1. Place rope in hand and tap animal/boat
2. Tug animal/boat to nearest fence post
3. Tap fence post. The animal/boat is now tied to the fence post and cannot move vary far. On rare occasion, your animal will break free. Boats on even rarer occasion.
4. There is a 5.5% chance your animal is claustrophobic. If it is, it increases the chances of it breaking free by 30%
5. To untie animal just “mine” the rope or fence post. This will untie animal or boat. If animal is claustrophobic it will run away immediately.
Iron boat. Moves faster, can place chest inside, and is more durrible.
Crafted like boat, but with iron.
Yeah thats a great idea… iron boats i mean.. Everything else seems too hard.
Great idea!! Also add a train/railroad system tuat you could attach cars and some cars could hold animals, chests, crafting table, ext. The roap idea amazing but how about that ropes and ladders could be used for climbing shch as a ladder could stand by itself and not have to be on a block and the ropes could hold saddled animals and boats but could also be hung so that you would tap on a block ant it would extend untill it hits water or another block. But for tieing up animals, you would first have to tame the animal by attaching the rope to a solid iron bloch and have the animal get lassoed and then it would jump around for 5 seconds and tnen you could put a saddle on them. If you don’t, then let go of the rope the animal would run away.
The railroad would be cool. Heres my idea. There would be two types of trains, wood or iron both in wich you could paint. The engine would need a certain block. Such as control pannel that would be built into the train. It would need to stop and get fuel every somany blocks and could pull 10 cars max. The car could hold a crafting table, animals(land), oven, chest, ext. To get an animal on to the car, you would have to ride it on. For the others, just tap them on the car. To drive the train, it would be just like an animal. Ne the iron train would be twice as fast and need two engines in the train. Trains could be added together to pull twice as many cars. The track would hace 3 iron ingets along the side and 1 log on top and 1 log on the bottom. The track could also go up hills but only for so long untill it stalled. The wooden train would go 3 times as fast as a galloping horse and the iron train would go twice as fast as the wooden train but would take longer to slow down such as 20 blocks untill a complete stop. Unlike the wooden train in 10 blocks. They both would have speedes just like animals. You could also walk on top of the train as its going but if you fell off, the train would traved fornan additional 50+ blocks untill a complete stop. The cars could also be interchanheable. The screen would have 2 meters on the top, 1 for speed and 1 for fuel, fuel would be coal, wood, of a bucked of gas from rye biproducts. Thank You for reading my lenghty but inspiring report and please add it it would make the game so much more fun and exciting.

Iron boats would be super cool. They could be bigger and would need a motor/engine and need fuel. The fuel could be made of rye seeds that are put in the oven and turned into biproducts such as food, food for animals, and fuel for the engines. Geat job kaalus love what you are doing. Just a few suggestions. Also make it that if you want to have animals, that you would have to feed and water them at least twice a day or they would die(optional in creative, always on in survival). I’m sure the sounds are tones and mot recorded. That’s what’s most common in electronics anyways. I’m siked for the memory bank!

Think hard: In SC what is the only sound that has a reason? The whistle! I’m betting the sound generator makes a whistle sound. Maybe hook it to a motion detector and it scares away birds and cows so they don’t trample your fields.

That would be pretty cool! But it might just be a beeper of some kind.
I would add this for sound:
Low.pitch beep
Mid pitch beep
High pitch beep
Animal beepers (make animal sounds)
It would be cool if the sound scared away animals. That way you could keep them away from your house and farms.

kaalus please can you consider adding arctic foxes diomond / iron stairs and slabs and can u make werewolves more deadly on challenging by making them be able to craft things place blocks and set gunpowder off and handle machetis and if there is a diomond in a chest or something they will do any thing to get the diomond.
Werewolves MORE powerful??? They are fine the way they are. The one thing I think nedds to change is that they flee from the spawn site when they kill you. I don’t knkw how many times a werewolf has gotten into my house and killed me only to respawn and get killed again, and again, and again, and again… it’s very demoralizing.

The one that has an “RT” on it is a Real Time Clock. The one with “PVO” is a sound generator and the one with the “M” on it is a memory bank. Hope that helps everyone!

I had suggested adding a servo, a small engine. It would allow one to make blocks spin, therefore creating things such as cars(create a wheel of course) and things such as a robot(or transformer if you will) these servos would be attached to limbs of these robots, causing them to swing arms walk with legs…so if Kaalus is adding such electronics, the memory bank would be useful in this scenario. Just a thought.

el juego me parece muy bueno me encantan los mecanismos y me gustaría poder mover bloques con algo ya sea por medio de magnetismo poniendo carga negativa atraer o expulsar bloques metálicos en lugar de un piston ya que esos movimientos son utilies ala hora de hacer mecanismos, también que las losas no se destruyan con el agua,que haya algún tipo de vida humana que se pueda intercambiar o vender materiales de contruccion, que haya algunos enemigos que puedan afectar nuestros refugios con el fin de estar mejorando los materiales de construcción, generar incluso enfermedades si esta mucho en el agua o en cuevas y buscar la manera de curarse con hierbas haciendo una fogata y una hoya para sus medicinas naturales etc. espero y estos comentarios los puedan leer y que se mejore mucho mas ya que es magnifico…

I had a good idea! I was playing survivalcraft,organizing my stuff,normal day (exept,im home because i passed out in school) and i saw in the chest,my magnet on top of a stick. So,you may be like: “So what? Its just a stick and a magnet!” But,i was thinking a metal detector! It will be helpful in mines,maybe having a composs to point toward iron. Maybe a stick on the bottom,magnet in the middle,and a composs on top. What do you think? Also,i have NO idea how to spell compass. :-)

Kaalus, I’m experiencing an annoying bug that doesn’t let me look around while I’m moving. For example, I’m walking to my house to place some meat in the furnace (just an example) and as I’m walking to my house, I want to look around to see my surroundings but I can’t because it seems as if the looking controls are locked. I’m lucky if I get a chance to barely move the camera around. I’ve never experienced this bug before and began happening like around the time you updated the server. Could the new server cause a bug in the game? Also, the game randomly closes while I’m playing harmless or any other game mode. I’m using the LG Motion 4G btw. Thanks. :)
I have a common bug where my contained animals “escape” they are totally enclosed in and before I know it they are free, roaming around.
