As announced in one of the earlier posts, I am adding a much better feedback system to Community Content.
Here’s a work in progress screenshot (the final layout will change and the data is fictious):
The plan is to allow you to rate content submitted by others. A secret ranking algorithm will take into account the ratings, downloads count, time of publishing and potentially other factors, and decide a rank number. All content will be sorted by rank number. I hope this will ensure that the worthy and cool creations stay near the top. 5 minute fluff will quickly sink to the bottom.
You will also be able to sort items by publish date. This way new additions will get their chance. Pretty much like in an app store :-)
I will not have access to the internet for the next week or so, please don’t be alarmed if I don’t post anything.

Hey ppl. I am glad for this update. Now maybe my world will finally be recognized… it’s called journey I am updating soon. I need to add more spaced out areas and I am gonna make it more challenging to where u have to travel at night. I still hope that kaalus will add a wagon or something that u can attach to it horse,or camel and place your chests on it and stack them in it so u can move your location. Oh and if u die then the items in your cart should stay there inside the chests even if the wagon is destroyed the chests will just bee on the ground. I also think that we should get injuries when attacked which u will have to treat with the right medicine. And u could make the medicine out of plants and other things aka herbs. Otherwise you will slowly dye from sickness if u eat spoiled food or infection if your wounds aren’t treated. And dressed properly with bandages. This I think is important to add to the survival game.
Oh and Whitestripetheawsomebandnerd. I am working on your house. I am working with the details u gave me. Checkered and 4 stories. Anything else you want to point out to me that you want? Don’t worry about asking too much. I don’t mind if you have some specifics I am also taking house requests for my as in a game. Right now I am working on shell shore a neighborhood . If u request a home there I still have open spaces. It is a richer neighborhood and owning a home there means you get a nice long yard front and back and you live on the beach. Hurry and request now. Homes will already be furnished and well supplied. When I am done you will be able to even apply for a job.

can u also put a system in where it says who made the map, I’m sick of people reposting other peoples maps and calling it their own. u have it like this website where u put ur email and username and from then on every time u upload a map it shows us name. this will also give u a head start (sort of) on multiplayer in which everyone has been harassing u for. the email part could be so that it will be easier to ban people who make innapropriate worlds.
Needs both Created by and Last Modified by, not necessarily in the brief entry that. Appears in the Community list of worlds, but in the world settings metadata for sure.
I agree except that we should have like a user name to go by as well well cuz cuz I don’t need my name revealed to those crazy strangers who post bad world’s. I found a bug that you can’t stack red and white flowers.(which sucks)
O Yes you can. But if you look cerfully you will notice that you have 3 groups of red flowers with 3 diff. Distributions of dark and light green leaves, that only stack to their alike.
If you do add multiplayer,can you make it possible for the host of a server to be able to go invisible??? There will definitely be griefers(people who ruin worlds) and trollers(pranking people). Also,if the creator of the server can bann people for a certain amount of time. That’d be awesome!!

Trolling isn’t pranking, it is deliberately harassing or annoying someone, and on the internet people do it because you can do it anonymously therefore not getting hit back, also it does count as cyber-bullying.
Cool! I’m sick and tired of downloading rubbish worlds that were made in 5 minutes! I’m not trying to be mean to the people who made those worlds, but yeah…
Ohhh… Cool idea! Bronze tools and weapons! They could have a low durability, but mine VERY quickly and do sorta high amounts of damage (say, 2-3 hits to kill a bear, for example). To get it, you would need to smelt 1 copper ingot and 1 iron ingot to get 4 bronze ingots, which you craft into tools and weapons like normal. Reply if you think this idea is at least somewhat interesting/cool/reasonable.
there were alpacas in survivalcraft a long time ago. And cool idea! Bronze, tin, copper tools would be nice. You can craft spearguns and javelins out of them!

Thank you. Although, now that I think about it, the durability should be even lower than wood because it takes a diamond edge machete 7-10 hits to kill a bear, and if bronze weapons are going to kill bears in 3 hits, they’re going to need a low durability so it’s not that over-powered. Also because the tools will mine faster than diamond tools, they are gonna have a low durability, too. Plus you need to find copper to make bronze, which is found imbedded in basalt, so it’s going to be somewhat challenging to make bronze anyhow.

Tower do you mean like one big long tower or a whole castle with to towers on the side…. and you shouldjust make a huge castle with a village all around it with a a special entrence in the front of all of it for people to enter everything. The castle should also be in the center of the village too.

Kaalus can we advance painting by: putting more paint colors& be able to paint cobblestone, sandstone, marble, and stone bricks. Say IDEA if you agree!

Well I have time to read reviews on my zombie arena maps so some mapmakers do have time! And I really do enjoy when I get Reviews On my maps I’m always getting reports on how easy My zombie arena map Now I know That is negative but it actually helps fix it it’s kind of hard fixing it but I think it’s getting better with Zombie arena version 1.2 And if hardcore mode is not enough I Can always fix it in version 1.3

I downloaded you Castle map Just a few minutes ago and it’s pretty good I really like it it’s nice and big. but I feel it’s Dull I mean there’s nothing really in the center it’s just a big castle with nothing looks like more like an arena than a castle maybe could you have included a throne room or something that might’ve made it look a little better but it’s not a bad Map it is pretty Awesome map and i had a fun time going to the hallways but I just think there’s room for improvement I give it a 4.0 out of 5.0 Because you did put a lot of effort into this thing and I think it deserves a good rating :-)

Yeah like on the bottom of the texture/world file it should say made by…….
Acually it should have a button to click by the world name in community content and it will bring up all the info such as who uploaded the world and who uploaded it last so we know the true maker of the map. Also on the information page it will have reviews and a summery of the map that the maker has to type in. Then when we are done looking at the information we just hit an x in the corner and we are back to community content. :)

Basically, a way people can upload a world, that demos a technique (eletrical, building style, etc). But it’s not a true “playable” world, like some are. More of a “cool way to build X” or “how to create Y”. I think those should be rated/sorted different from regular community content.

This is awesome and I think I found a bug because I am planting the rye seeds but only one is growing at a time not all of them are and yes I have water
I don’t think that’s a bug. I think kaalus intended to have some rye seeds turn to wild rye to make it more realistic like in real life when u plant something not everything might grow. some plants may wither and die and some plants might not have the proper living conditions.

can you please add laptops, horse wagons, horse invetorys, being able to take the saddle off the horse without killing it, horse lead ropes, being able to tie horse lead ropes with the horse on it to a fence, lockers working tvs, tables and chairs.

In my old post,I talked about that new creature on new-moon nights,instead of werwolves(might be complicated), ther will be blood-suckers.there 3-block high hareless-yeti like monster that can jump 4 blocks high. 1-2 hits will kill you. They rarely spawn in tundras and snow biomes. Who likes this idea,and my crossbow feature?

Best seed for 1.22(was 1.21), Trerothorm. South to were you spawn is a HUGE snow biome. In 1.21,I found a cave that went l the way down to bed rock. Near is a massive diamond vain(hope I spelled that right). I’m not for shure for 1.22,but the cave is MASSIVE! So many minerals,you will have to get miles of storage chests(just an expression.)

No armour. Is there any monsters here?no but werewolves. The armour bar should be for leather cloathing for warmth in cold climates. Without it you will start to loose health,and stamina when moving. Movement will start to slow down during a new storm. Bizzards. They are heavier than the last storm in 1.22. The sky will get darker,and it should last for 1-2 days every 3 weeks in game-time and the wind sound affects should be louder. This is not the middle ages,this is the modern day block world. Maps will be a long shot. First you’ll need paper,and mapping generators are hard,too. Also,no minecarts in survival,but only Kaalus can decide what is easier.

Lets write it once more. I mean, everyone knows that its used in “the other game”, but this survivalcraft game is actually much more about mining than survival -> as most of the valuable ores is found deep underground. And guess whats usualy found in mines – thats right, minecarts.

Kaalus, this is how survival should be: you start by picking up small rocks you find on the ground you can carve these rocks and make them sharp, to get sticks you can’t cut down trees with your hands, so instead, you break leaves to get sticks (leaves have branches, sticks) then you can use sharpened rocks and sticks to make axes and shovels and spears, but not machetes and pickaxes (those come later) also some rocks will have metals inside (copper, silver, iron, etc) also to smelt you will need to make a campfire (you will make this by placing three sticks on the ground then making a fire starter (two sticks diagonally) then lighting it, but you will have to feed it wood. Also when you smelt metals, you will need to also make a stone anvil (made out of small rocks in a sideways ladder shape in the crafting table) then also make a hammer to hammer the metal into an ingot then hammer the ingot into a tool shape (pickaxe or machete). If you make a pick, you will be able to mine stone properly, but ores will be hidden, you’ll also have to make a sifter/grafter to sift for ores that are hidden, also chests will have less space, and heavy items (tools, large rocks, etc) will not fit, you will need to make tool racks and stone cases to hold stones and tools, and that’s about it.
P.S. Please tell me what you think. Also, I made the battle of helms deep from the lord of the rings franchise in under 16 hrs, its ####ing huge :D

well I wasn’t asking for your opinion and this is just a suggestion, you don’t have to worry, it probably won’t happen anyway, but for any of you who do like these ideas, you can download the terrafirmacraft mod it adds a similar survival type, or you can get the technic launcher and get more modpacks (tfc is one of them).

CAN U ADD BOSSES? I know people wants survivalcraft realistic, but we have werewolves, so i bet it wont hurt if we add a few bosses in the game. Every 100 days(survivalcraft days), you get to challeng a boss you are allowed to wait or fight right away. You can only do boss fights in survival, not adventure or creative. You can spawn your own boss in creative.

I have an idea….what if since ppl want villagers/breeding/girl character, kaalus made it so when u start a world u choose ur gender. then u find the villager of the opposite gender and u breed, and raise to children, a boy and a girl, now this will sound weird but what if they bred and then had children then they interbred until the island is completely inhabited. this way people will have a female character, breeding, and villagers!

Full of quests dense dangerous forests, with lumpy space, hidden dungeons, candy kingdom, bmo, fire kingdom, and chest that are full of loot, marcelene’s cave, and much more. I have the adventure time texture pack so it looks good. It took me weeks. So the map is now like the one on minecraft pc. I will put it on community comten

You should make the trees more realistic like if you cut it it would fall down and it would be easier to get the wood blocks like real life instead of looking up and standing on blocks to get the top ones
Please make a cart so that you can carry around chests and the horses are attached which reminds me can you make rope so you can tie a horse to the fence. Thnx ;)

Get my map! It’s amazing! I had no idea it would be this good! <;D !!! I can't wait to release my adventure time adventure map today. It has the whole land of oom! Except the goblin kingdom! Dangit I forgot to add goblin kingdom. Oh well i would have to change the whole story if I added it. So i wont add it. Took me weeks to make it and hours today. I just finished the portal to lumpy space and a dungeon. So yeah I'm happy

I believe playing in challenging would be hard if they’re is a coyote roaming about your house? I also noticed that you out detail in your house than all the others…meaning you care more bout one then another. :)

Guys go to google images and type kaaulas. It will show a bunch of things he built. His challenging mode house was awesome! He knows all the best things to build.
