Thank you for all the details on the signs bug! It’s great to have many testers.
With so much information I was easily able to reproduce and fix it, so from 1.21 on, the signs text input should work properly without need to restart the game.
I also reproduced and fixed the bug with getting stuck on stairs. This one was more subtle and I am not 100% confident the fix covers all possibilities. I’m not able to reproduce it any more with the fix in, so I’ll assume it’s gone until proven otherwise.
But the bugs work has only taken less than 10% of my time over the past couple of days. The rest I spent working on a new game mechanic to do with new animals, which you haven’t seen yet. It’s about 50% ready, and will be the highlight feature of 1.21.
I’ll leave you to guess what it is for now, but it’s been requested many times and ticks all boxes on my list :-)

Actually,this can be done siing detonators,since they dont break blocks that are strong.Just place a coal block in front of a detonator,i tried it,it works,it ignites the coal block.

Have you ever considered adding Bigfoot/Sasquatch to the game? I know your going for a more realistic approach but as it turns out Bigfoot might be real. Here’s a link to one of the sites I was reading.

You can build an elevator using the or gate delay gate and trap doors.

I mean REAL elevators. Not making elevators by using trapdoors and all that.
Logically noone will do that,not even even Notch.That would make the game too easy,thats why there were mods,there are no official elevators in any Sandbox survival games.
Your game is awsome. I’m hopeing you are adding animal tameing, breeding. And multiplayer. I’ve seen a lot of requests for those things. Honestly, if you added those…..words wouldn’t describe how awsome your game is (although it already is)
