Microsoft approved 1.20.2 about 12 hours ago. Amazon have approved the demo just now, and the full version is still pending, will let you know when it’s out.
Anyway, they both did it rather quickly this time, normally I wouldn’t expect it to appear before Friday.
I started some preliminary work on new features in 1.21, nothing to share yet.

It’s pretty awesome. I wonder if the 7-segment display could be made more readable if segments weren’t wedged? Or maybe using LEDs?
Yeah i think ill alter that. Originally i made it for counting up the way which actually works better. If I take one of the dely switches from the SLR input loop the figures will flash for each count. Im in the proccess of making a timer which Ill upload when complete.

Nice work there Scrafter on your frames. I get the same problem with my clock, when i get too far back the circuit freezes. There is a limit to what you can do. There is a lot of people out there putting this game to extreme tests. Lol

the problem is even when the whole structure is rendered by the game. I fly upward and I see the last frame but it is not displayed. Yet somehow Initial signal goes further(than last frame) and comes back to the beginning.Strange things happen even if one frame (the first) is powered up. Just flying left and right, in front of the display, you notice some LEDs stop to glowing without any sense and makes mess on the display.
Something is really not work properly in this whole electric feature :) I hope Kaalus can use some sort of black magic and fix\tweak this whole thing so i can spend rest of my life playing this :)

I think the problem is that were all using phones, or tablets, which can only handle so much in the game.
clocks probably just put a lot of strain on the processor and it drops things.
I’m sure there some workaround kallus can work out, but it will be tough.
I think your right max samuels. I remember just before Kaalus released 1.19 he said that the electrical circuit would unload when we get too far away from it and it was the best he could do at the time. I think what Kaalus has already achieved is awesome. To be able to do what we can already do in this game useing pocket devices is just incredible. I would just like to give you one tip to try scrafter (it seams to work better for me) if you try to build your circuits in a more vertical fashion. What I mean is, if you try to build your circuits up the way or even down into the ground. I find it keeps it more so in the loaded area of the game. I did try your frame and when i flew to left and right a lot of the LEDs didn’t show, but when I moved too much it put a lot of strain on my phones proccessor, so for that at least i would say could be a problem. Noticed a small bug with the new update. Only played in creative mode so far — when selecting and dragging an item from the inventory list each item you select and drag comes from the slot of the item previously selected. It’s only a visual bug it doesn’t effect gameplay. Example: from the first inventory screen select dirt. Now select large dry brush. The dry brush first appears to come from the dirt slot and quickly moves to where your finder has selected. (playing on samsung focus)

Also when using the in-game menu, such as inventory, or creative mode inventory and press the ‘back’ button it takes me to ‘pause’ screen rather than close the inventory, and go back to the game???

Kaalus, PLEASE add zombies because I am making a zombie survival level and it requires zombies.
Also, I made my own texture pack using MS Paint and when I use it, I can’t see through glass. And there is some black space (1.20) in tree leaves and tall grass. Is there some way to fix this problem?
Most probably the issue is with the file format you are using. Open the file in Gimp for example and add an alpha layer to it then save the file as PNG. This should resolve your issue.
Btw, I did not make any texture packs for Survivalcract yet but simple textures for my WP7 game which needed a transparency layer.

You need to use alpha channel for transparency. Not sure if MS Paint supports that, probably not. Get Paint.NET or GIMP.

kaalus after update game lag more here and there. also loading time is longer. Im android 4.1 htc one x. Previous version (1.19) worked like a charm. Now i have crashes sometimes when i playing(memory leak?).

Lower the framerate limiter to 30, i have experienced a major performance boost at this setting without harm to graphics :-)

I am having a small but annoying problem. I play on a pandigital tablet and after only playing 5 or 10 minutes the game crashes. I have patience so far but now that I have my groove going with my kingdom its starting to drive me bonkers. Not sure if it makes a difference but I bought game from amazon… I read you fixed the problem with the kindle, could I possible be suffering from the same hiccup? Although it saves my world, it doesnt save my settings. I cant read anything from your forums on that lorawhatever site….. its not tablet friendly either. :( any help would be much appreciated. Maybe I just need to hold my breath and cross my toes when I play? Lol thanks!

I have the pandigital media star tablet, model r70b200 and it uses android 2.2.1. If you can fix the problem, you would be the greatest :) but even if you can’t I will keep playing five to ten minutes at a time. Lol Thank you!

2.) when I try to make the photodiode work, all I can get the lights to do is flash. Which doesn’t work that way when I try the same way with the LED’s. Haha
this happens if the lights shine at the photodiode, LEDs don’t have so much light, so the photodiode does not react to them

Great work on the game, I have notified a little bug on my Asus transformer tf300. In order to rotate the screen orientation you have to tilt it left or right, not up or down. Android 4.1, Survivalcraft 1.20.2 Amazon app store
Unfortunately screen orientation APIs are broken (or rather incomplete) on Android, it’s not possible to do certain things. That’s why I added “lock screen orientation” setting.

kaalus is some sort of chance to increase the size of the LEDs? Now it is hard to see even at night. They could be of the same size as light bulbs, then they would be perfect.What I like the LEDs, is that they do not slow down my device like lightbulbs during rapid changes in the signal.

I think the deal is that LEDs appear lit but do not seem to cast light. Not enough to trip a photodiode anyway. Jack O Lanterns have a bright torch in them but seems to shine no light onto surrounding. They do not activate the photodiode either. I put lava in a glass box and it does shine light on surroundings but it is a white light not red in color.
it is good, the LEDs does not emit light because its less performance hungry :)
but they “glow” and this effect is really nice, just make this “glow” bigger and its will be perfect .
LED looks like a glowing dot, maybe kaalus could do 4 such dots on the same block?

I think you might be all wrong… Its a software problem that kaalus has encountered along time ago, when creating multicoloured LED’s…. I don’t think that he is able to create a bright light in different colours, through LED’s … Something to do with “shaders” and technical stuff

I do not know if this is known issue, just want report this.
why this happend?
This is because your chunk exceeded the geometry limit (65535 triangle indices). This is a known issue that I may fix at some point. But even if I do so, having such complicated chunks is not good for performance on slower devices, so it may be worth moving some of your wires to neighboring chunks. A chunk is a vertical shaft 16×16 blocks in size, going all the way from the top to bottom of the world. So you need to move some stuff by up to 16 blocks sideways.
