I am still working on easier downloading of worlds and blocks textures (formerly known as texture packs). This is a large feature, but I reckon I am 75% complete at this point. I will probably soon write about it in more detail, so that you know what’s the idea behind it.
In the meantime I added another small, unrelated feature. It is a possibility to download a world or texture pack directly from a web link. If, for example, someone puts his creation on the internet and posts the link on the forum, you will be able to copy the link and paste it in the game to download it.
No need to go through Dropbox anymore.
Here’s how the UI looks like:
You need to manually specify content type and name, because it cannot be deduced automatically from the link alone.
I am so glad that a year ago I spent a couple of weeks creating a proper UI library, instead of hardcoding it. Without it so many things would be impossible, or at least prohibitively hard. In 1.20 I am adding a lot of UI, new screens, new dialog boxes. These new features really put the engine through the wringer, but it holds fine. So far.

I never had a problem with dropbox, however, scanning through the forums indicates that this is a much needed addition. Great work!

I suggest increasing the hitbox on electric detonators because it is nearly impossible to get it to go off. Try it yourself its WAY too hard. Also please make it so electric detonaters blow up the block behind them because i need it for an adventure map.

I hope you fix the fact that diamonds burn. Just because coal and diamonds are both carbon doesn’t make them flammable. If you keep that you can just say water is flammable because its made of Hydrogen and oxygen. Yes. Atoms are strange. 🎓
Real diamonds do burn even in plain air, at temperatures above 1000°C.
Moreover, iron burns too =) if in small enough particles. You can throw some iron sawdust into a bonfire and they’ll sparkle.
Diamonds do burn actually, they are flammable. They are just carbon atoms that are very rigidly packed, but they still can react with oxygen to form carbon dioxide. Diamonds don’t do it easily but at high oxygen concentrations they burn. Same as graphite which is also just sheets of carbon atoms. Would not use them as fuel though. Water is a different thing, but burning hydrogen (ie reacting with oxygen) will give you water.
If you ever go on to making NPC’s and villages, could you please add gold that you can mine and turn into coins? And be able to have a “store” where you can buy maybe new skins..? Or maybe be able to buy a car or what ever transport you may make…
Also can you make an electric motor?that could make chainsaw? Two bars of iron and the “motor”
He would obviously use copper. Like pennies are copper.

u know at first i was just lookin for a good game like minecraft,but when i found survivalcraft i was amazed at its variety of objects and even though its kind of similar to minecraft i loved the fact that it had so many things thhat minecraft didnt,
like the christmas tre and electrics and hygro and thermometer.i bought the game 1 day after i played the demo and im lovin it,

If you ever wanted to add boss mobs,but no idea what,then pls add King Kong,loves stomping trees and smashing mountains when angry,found in king kong island in survival,can go there by trading 50 diamonds or whatever to a villager so we can get a teleport ball,throw it to the ground and poof!you will be in King Kong island in a blink of an eye.

Need some help getting texture packs, and I think you should make the biomes larger, I love living in a blizzard, it is peaceful, but when you have a grassland right next door, thunder kinda gets annoying.
