Has anyone got a Google Nexus 10 tablet, and tried to run the game on it?
I’ve seen reports of the game not working on this device. If so I’ll need to buy it to see what the problem is.

There is no need for repeaters in Survivalcraft, signal has unlimited range.
I’m pretty sure it’s limited: if I make 1000000000-block-long wire, it’ll throw a StackOverflowException (or whatever it’s called in C#) ;-)
I mean, I *think* it will. I haven’t tried that.
Well, you can try. It would be good to know the limits. There will be no StackOverflow because the algorithm to scan the wires is not recursive. But you will eventually run out of memory. Although I am not sure whether there’s enough space in the visible world for this to happen :-)
Glad to hear that it’s not recursive. In Minecraft it’s recursive, and I had quite a few annoying stack overflows with it. One more place were SC is better than MC.
To try that I’d need to know what is stored in wire’s BlockData ;-)

You could use 2 not gates, or 1 input to a OR, or to one side of a and gate and a On to the other side.

I have a nexus 7 the only difference is screen size and it works great
Unfortunately there is a lot of other differences, Nexus 10 has completely different CPU & GPU than Nexus 7.
I know it doesn’t help much but at some point in the next six months or so I’m planning to get a Nexus 10 and I wanted to say I appreciate that you try to make sure it works well on all devices. That’s a great trait for a developer to have.

When this game have multiplayer will you put mods?
I m not talking about share maps with other players, im talking about mods like minecraft, i never played MC in pc but i watchedmany videos about, i dont know how they do mods… But i know people can reedit the game doing other mobs, new bioms etc.

So is this a bad time to ask for a drywall block? One that can be a painted a different color on either side so rooms can be different colors even though they share they the same block as another? You know that would be sweet. Admit it. Sorry I’m to lazy to go on the forum and put it on the feature request.
Is it just me or when go a good distance away my power doesnt work anymore so i cant huge things that turn on with a flick of a switch but still a cool update.

In case you ever need to know, this game works wonderfully on the Acer Iconia tab A 200. if anyone ever tell you that the game is not working on this device , you can tell them that there’s something wrong with their device. It works great on mine. Thanks for all the time and hard work you put into it.

Hey Kaalus I have a Ainol Novo 7 Crystal, 7 Inch Tablet with Jelly Bean 4.2.1 (CM10.1) and Dualcore Cortex A9 1.5Ghz processor supported by Mali-400 Gpu and 1GB RAM but I have a big problem with this game.
First one is that it takes about 5minutes to open the game and to get to the main menu amd another 10-15minutes to open my world (just started only 0.9mb big)
This is way toooo long for me.And after i finally loaded my world i dont get any sound.
Is it because of my hardware or does it open so slowly on all devices?
No its pretty fast on my device.

I’m afraid the game doesn’t work in nexus 10 at all. I was able to start but then the screen turns black after the terrain has been generated. Please fix this serious problem ASAP.

Thanks for the valuable info. I have reports from other people saying that the game either works with glitches or does not work at all on Nexus 10. If you had a bit of time, could you please try to start the game up several times to verify that this behavior occurs every time (unless you’ve already done so). Also if you could check that it keeps happening after tablet reboot, would be useful.
It is likely I will be buying Nexus 10 soon to fix the issue. Always nice to buy a nice upmarket tablet for a change :-) (I already have piles of old rubbish tablets).

Wait, I think I have a nexus 7
I have a nexus 10, game works perfectly and no problems except sometimes (usually not) it bugs and I can’t load a world or start one. But only sometimes and a reboot fixes it
I just got this game on my nexus 10 and it sometimes won’t let me play :’( but ya get a nexus 10 so you can see problems yourself
There are random problems with Nexus 10, that’s true. I can reproduce them on mine, but these are hardware/system issues. I spent lots of time trying to fix and diagnose them, but with no result. The workaround is to restart the game until it starts working.
