As there is more and more fast devices out there (including Windows 8 phones), people started complaining that phones heat up too much and that the game eats the battery too quickly. Being CPU and GPU intensive, there’s no helping that, the game will be battery hungry. But I could limit game framerate if someone prefers to trade some smoothness for longer battery life.
As a result, for 1.20 I am adding a configurable framerate limiter, where you can balance game smoothness versus battery usage (on fast enough devices). I haven’t done any tests to verify how much battery you can save this way, but I suppose a fair bit. The limits available are 20, 30, 40, 60 and unlimited.
While doing it, the inevitable happened and I ran out of space in settings screens. So I decided to rework them as well and make them scrollable.

Thanks this is just another thing that is better than mcpe i have always had my battery run down on me which sucks cause i can’t play survivalcraft anymore and this will help a lot
First, thank you for making the framerate limiter optional. Second, if people spend hours on this game like I do, then it should come as no surprise that your battery will drain lol. Use your heads folks, and plug it in while playing. I literally spend four to five hours on this game in one sitting. Thus is thereason I plug mine in. Thinking your phone will last longer than an hour or two playing games is unrealistic lol.

Will you add new items on 1.20? I think that more interior items should be needed. Plz add picture frames!!! And the uploaded picture would be in the map file:)
Did you see the thing about photo frames in the feature requests i suggested that they put the photo in the world file
high defenition pictures would make the world file bigger but it would be a good interior item

You should try to put more decoration in the game i don’t want you to go out of your way and do it but if you have the time

Yes. The lesser the limit the more battery it saves, but the less smooth it becomes.
